Welcome to Restoration And Metal. In this video is a restoration of the Sony PSP 1000 football game console, the 2011 version was released so long ago, but the excellent handheld game console rocked the mini game world. I found a sony machine to restore it was very difficult and tried I had to buy a battery and a game memory card to make it work. yeah just measure the connections on the pcb :) This video wouldn't existed even if only one of the components on the board was malfunctioned. You probably just changed the pcb with a working one so that you could shoot the video :)

so what? Need a new battery and a good cleaning inside and out and maby a bitt of soldering and thats it. Ok if the consol cand read discs he need a new disc reader but a mod and some ISOs will do it too
it old and damage for a long time.. but after cleaning the screen seem don't have any scratch..😌

The joystick wasn’t removed at all through the cleaning and painting process. To play games from a memory stick the PSP must have custom firmware. 🤔
What is a costume hardware. The console doesn't require a custom firmware if the games are psp games. It does need it, if the games are homebrew or ps1 titles.
@@Tuukkis Where in your mind or your eyes did I put costume hardware? Do you even know how to read properly? If the games are psp roms or iso copied from a disk to a memory stick you need custom firmware genius. The video showed how they tested games from a memory stick, either they bought the games legit when the PS store sold games and they stored it on a memory stick or they copied roms to a memory stick which a costumed firmware PSP can only play. I know this cause I verified it myself.

Thats a China Clone console.
Sony had no access to the battery and also Sony did not use normal SD Cards, they used their own Memory Stick Duo M2. Even the Vita didn't use SD Cards.
