Saltyman Since that uppercut was introduced in MH Gen I still have not been able to consistently hit with it. It must have been all of the playtime with regular hammer on 4u

Tip for climbing, dash with A/X, then let the little hop from holding sprint go, the dash, and repeat going between the hop and the dash and it is a faster climb
Thank you so much for this strat, I finally killed the fuckin thing in 17 minutes (I went for mount knockdown all 3 times and I carted) I didn't have the temporal mantel unlocked (I know it's amazing) so I used the glider for some extra sprinkles on my cheese. All in all I'm happy and I can definitly shave 10 minutes off my time with refinement. I was just playing way to safe.
when you faugh kirin after he ran away to sleep, you should of used the rock steady mantle, it helps decrease kirins insane thunder damege and prevents flinching, it does a better job then thunder mantle

Jehuty1982 the first direction you hold when pressing r2 in air is your hop direction, any movement on joystick after is your hammer swing direction. This is R2 air attack.
This game has a really weird problem with hitboxes. They need to address this, some of those aerial hits were nowhere near it, and other times when you're up close the hit doesnt register I mean wtf. Inb4 go play "insert older mh here". Fix the hitboxes, vaal hazak, kirin, deviljho, nergigante, anjanath all say hi
