If you fly ag the correct speed you say will never end
Ling Ling you will eventually because if i left from newyork i would eventually be back at new york making that a days
Actually Albert Einstein did a thought experiment with a similar concept to this; basically, in this ought experiment, he though, "if I were to get in a car that's facing a clock and then back up at the speed of light, then I could only see the time displayed on the clock at the moment I started backing up". If you follow his train of thought, then theoretically, there could be no end to the amounts of practice you could do.

I'm lucky to have grown up in a musical household - both sisters play instruments (Viola and Cello respectively) and I grew up playing the piano and later the guitar and viola (cue viola jokes). Eventually life got in the way (uni/school work mainly ) so I ended up stopping pretty much all instruments (except the guitar because I was using that for my GCSE music exams).
I also have bilateral hearing loss since I was 2 or 3 but it's been deteriorating rapidly, give or take every 6 months, since I was 16 (I'm currently 23). My hearing loss affects hearing high and low frequencies in particular and has got to the point where I can't enjoy music as much anymore (e.g I can't hear anything on the E string at all except if it's ridiculously loud) but I watch TwoSet videos a lot. They give me memories of performing at school, make me remember the high and lows of playing an instrument and also the inside jokes.
Thank you TwoSet!
Edit: Thank you for all the likes and comments! I hope that you have a good day and good things come to you :)
Bless you and may you find much more joy and love!
Ok
Hope you can get good hearing aids. My children's music teacher has had hearing loss since she was a small child but she has a Masters of Music Education and is just retiring at a ripe old age after having taught children choir and violin. So don't give up!
I may not totally understand your condition, but I am going through something similar. I play piano, still learning. But I kinda have to tone it down because of tinnitus and hyperacusis. Have to use earplug on my left ear (right ear is alright, but sometimes affected when the left ear starts ringing) on daily basis and playing piano because the ringing can get extremely unbearable when I reach the righmost side of the keys, from around D6 to D8. Now, I still struggle to play but with the ear plug, it become decently bearable.
I hope you will continue to enjoy music despite your condition but please please please take care of yourself first.
(And that violin part, yes, that hurts so much. I watch Twoset videos or any video with only one side of earphone on my right ear.)
hey! i don't know if my suggestion would help any, but i'm deaf and, because of it, kinda tone deaf. but still, my best suggestion would be to go see an audiologist in your area and see if cochlear implantation would be a good idea for your case, since it's how i can hear. it's worth a shot !

“What’s the Paganini equivalent on your instrument?”
I play the saxophone and I’ve been working on Caprice 24 for about a year now, so...Paganini.
How do you do pizzicato on the sax?
@@chopun3862 There's a technique called "slap tongue" which produces a similar percussive effect with substantially less tone than normal playing. A Norwegian saxophonist named Raaf Hekkema transcribed it in Eb minor; his version also has you hum while playing during certain sections to achieve the double-stop effect.
I've decided for my own purposes to do neither of these things, because 1) I don't think they sound good and 2) slap tongue destroys reeds very quickly.
Fair enough, sounds very virtuosic as one would expect from Paganini

Flute: A few of The hardest repertoire I have seen goes to Saint-Saëns La volière, Borne’s Carmen Fantasy, Chant de Linos by Jolivet and Schubert’s Variations. As a horn player, there is a dude called R. Strauss who happend to write freaking hard-ass concertos...
Yeah he also wrote many hard parts for the trumpet in the classical world.
If not classical, then eventually Allen Vizutti and his Carnival of Venice is also really hard.
Honestly many non classical composers wrote and write hard pieces for trumpet, but only speaking for classical music, it would probably be Richard Strauss, Arutiunian, Gustav Mahler I think.

I'd recommend starting with his live guitar solo in Japan 1984, as it's one of the best examples of his skill and technique, but also songs like Black Star.
Anyone else want to see TwoSet reacting to Malmsteen?
My two year old niece is already yelling "I WANT THAT" whenever she sees a violin on TV, and calls my violin gorgeous and always wants to try playing it, so I think I'm not even going to have to go full asian auntie lol
Lol
My mom's friend showed me a video of her performing when I was like 3 and then I was like "MOMMY. I WANT TO PLAY VIOLIN."
Of course I had to wait two years until my little sister turned three so that we could both have lessons, so I started in first grade
My sister was like, "oh she's is playing violin I wanna play violin too," but then she was like "it's too squeaky and I don't like standing up!" so she switched to cello a year later lol
I still play the violin, roughly seven and a half years since I started :)
I think she needs a violin then
@@SamTahbou For sure. She's still a little young rn, though.
“Yes my vision has increased I can see you guys not practicing right now”
That’s why I can’t practice...because I have such bad eyesight 😔 thank you Brett
"In case you don't have friends like us…" Eddy Chen, 2020
But hey, look, the guy sitting next to you is your friend right?
Twoset, you guys are my only friends in this quarantine time. Along with ray Chen’s discord server
Pianists: oh yeah reading two lines with two different clefs at the same time
Church organists: well yeah um
Paganini of Trumpet is like....a lot of things in the Arban’s book and the Clarke Stuides

I was gonna say the Charlier etudes
They are both craving sushi! Wonder if they'll have a Never Have I Ever - Sushi Version. Lol
I was legit thinking the same thing when I saw that part!!
I play Euphonium and there is not this one Composer that destroys us, but there are a lot and there are Orchestral Parts as well as Solo pieces which are so hard, that even on a Violin it would be nearly Impossible to play just from the Speed
Nils Peters Which would be nearly impossible on violin in the euphonium rep? I’m going through everything I can think of and nothing seems out of the realm of possibility (or nearly) for a violin
We have Araban!
Aka anything written by Philip Spark
Arthur Pryor and Arban
ayy euphonium players reunite 👏
The Paganini of electric guitar (for me, anyway) would have to be either Eddie Van Halen (watch him do Eruption), or Yngwie Malmsteen. Van Halen was classically trained on guitar, and you can definitely hear the influence in Eruption. Yngwie is just insanely fast but able to maintain rhythm and melody while destroying your eardrums
eddys sick voice is so deep it’s kinda scary ngl
