For anyone wondering, as piano gang, I can also confirm that Brett is a professionally trained pianist even though he may not seem like it.

Yeah, most people don't realise how difficult it is to do what he is doing. I've been playing for 6 years and probably can't play by ear as well as he does (partly because I don't have perfect pitch).
Playing by ear on piano is hard. Especially for us non perfect pitch gang

This is good fun 😂. But also, as musicians, even as music teachers, this is a pristine example on the importance and identity of RHYTHM. Without almost any correct note, eddy was able to identify everything. It's a beautiful example
There was a TV show in Germany where people would propose bets. One pair bet that one would identify songs just from the other flexing his chest muscles to the beat. They won. Rhythm is so important and that was the ultimate proof.

I’m actually amazed at how Brett could play quite a few notes of the melody from each song perfectly! Especially when he couldn’t hear himself but yet carried on to play the right notes? Very impressive!

I’d have actually guessed most of these except midsummer night ones. Because he already got the rhythm if he happen to get the right notes 2 - 3 times in a row (even if it’s not the correct pitch) you’d be able to continue it in your head and get the piece name out.
Definitely xD I once guessed Vivaldi in Taboo game when a girl from my team was humming Mozart (and very out of tune) and for some reason I knew she meant Vivaldi xD
Our colleague, who like me likes classical music, was laughing so hard he fell of the couch (he was lying on the top of the backrest) and we had to pause the game until we could stop laughing. It became an inside joke in our group for years xD

As a perfect pitcher and pianist myself I gotta say Brett's 100% immaculate skills had me half crying half laughing.
Also Eddy guessing every tune by mere rhythm showcases how extremely important rhythm is, and how unique and recognizable it can get.

You can tell from Eddy's excitement that these videos where he gets to flex his perfect pitch are his favorite one's to make.
i THINK THERE'S A LITTLE DISCONNECT AND IMPERFECTION BETWEEN THE PIANO PITCH AND THE ORCHESTRA PITCH, (at least how it plays on my computer!) I inherited my perfect pitch from my musician father- it's a blessing and a curse. Oh, and I really only play piano, but I can tune up guitars and other stringed instruments pretty well.
The moment they started to play together, my heart melted. It was beautiful, instantly reminded me of their tchaikosky section in the virtual tour. Still salty that they didn't react to it properly.
