It looks like it could do with some filing down to make the finger part much more comfortable when held. Nice piece. These are very effective. Easy to make out of flat bar, with an angle grinder.

Just a heads up, you want to hold that on your middle knuckle, not close towards your hand. You also have to throw hooks and haymakers to help the impact. Food for thought.

my question is why are these things mostly from the main market and big companies make them so damn expensive like I understand they use expensive materials like carbon fiber and titanium but isn't there like a more budget friendly version. It's kind of giving me the man jewelry vibes.

I see this video is older but for anyone wondering how to not hurt your hand. The reason you hold it on your first knuckle is the longer back end is supposed to go into your palm. Now you can put a leather backing if you want. Keep in mind though you do have to be careful because unlike traditional brass knuckle, you don’t have metal protecting all your knuckles and a bad hit can break the other non protected knuckles.
