Great video! I finally completed my 4pc during my guild's raid last night and the damage boost I saw was ridiculous. Looking forward to getting the new fire build down & relearning how best to spread fire shock.
Thanks for the awesome video ridmark. I'm having some issues with ele in m+, running the wowhead build. Some pulls I'll do 3-400k, others I'll do 90k. It feels like if I don't have totem available, I'm fucked. I'm averaging like 20k less DPS overall than my team and I have the highest iL.. 469iL, 79% mastery, 30% haste.
Do your best to spread flame shock with Surge of Power outside of your liquid magma totem windows. It takes a bit longer to set up, but that's all we got unfortunately. And some classes/specs we just can't compete with. DH and Beast Master, among others, will simply out perform ele in most scenarios.
@@ridmarkgaming yeah, I've been working on that. The issue I find is I'm playing with two people doing like 300k on every aoe pull (pally and balance), and stuff is often dead before I can get too many FS out to start generating LvBs. Maybe I find a m+ build more suited to aoe and just take the hit on boss damage (I top meters in st)...
@@moltiin There isn't one that I'm aware of. And any of the builds I have heard of that try, absolutely tank your st for very minimal gain in aoe. If you find something that works over more than 1 or 2 runs let me know though. I'd be very interested.
@@ridmarkgaming I'll do some fiddling in the tree see if I see any bonus. But it's probably just my cd timing and my tank tbh - some pug runs I've been up at 190k overall but just can't seem to get there with my guild
Great video! Quick question, what purpose does surge of power serve in this cleave build if you aren't using it to spread flame shocks, and we're saving stormkeeper for adds. Does taking aftershock make sense?
