The force is in all life forms. Kaanan said her mind is blocked.

Having seen the first two episodes of Ahsoka, it's clear now that Ahsoka trained Sabine and that Sabine is a force sensitive. Ahsoka trained her before she met Grogu and it looks like it didn't end well so that explains why she was reluctant to train Grogu. It also suggests that there was some reluctance to train her that may have led to walking away anxious she was not up to training such a willful character.
As to it not being obvious that Sabine was force sensitive in the Rebels series, let's not forget that someone as powerful as Vader did not recognize that Leia was force sensitive. It's almost as if the older a person is and has undeveloped force sensitivity the harder it becomes to spot that they have it. Ezra was open to the force even before he was trained, he was unconsciously unsing it instinctively. I think it was because he had to live by his wits from a young age and because he had a strong natural connection to living things like his little cat and later the purgils. So both his character and the nature of some of this particular force abilities actually made him more open to the force.
Sabine on the other hand had parents pushing her to be something she wasn't and the Academy doing the same. From a young age she was always hiding or ignoring her own feelings and not open to the force. Just as she wasn't open to the dark sabre. And has some issues welding it.

Shes a mandalorian, their culture is built around developing tech to combat the jedi force ability. She was able to demonstrate that when Kanan trained her with the Darksaber. Her tech knowledge balances out her lack of connection with the force.

It is possible for Sabine to be force sensitive , you need to remember Kanan said she was blocked and stubborn, you have to be open to the force to feel it and use it, all living beings have the force. Remember events ramped up quick after that happened, no time for Kanan feel the change in Sabine

Besides the remark (in Rebels) mentioned in the comments that Kanan made that her mind is blocked, which was very interesting, Ahsoka draws a direct parallel between her leaving Anakin and her own training and leaving Sabine. So her fear of training someone, in whatever capacity, in being capable of training someone is definitely there with reagrd to Sabine, her fear that she is going to fail another person. I don't see Ahsoka as setting up an academy or order but I can see the evolution of her character resulting in her deciding to return to Sabine and the Ghost crew. Aside from Sabine potentially being force sensitive, Ahsoka is probably wary of forming her own attachments again considering how she lost her other found family when she was put on trial, left the Order, and survived Order 66. Whatever the case, I am super excited to see where this show goes!

When Sabine Wren is persuaded to lead the Mandalorian people and touches the darksaber you can hear the Force theme. When Sabine Wren spares Gar Saxon's life you hear the Force theme again.

Remember that Ahsoka wasn't actually around all that much in Rebels, and when she was, it was mostly season 2. She wouldn't have seen much of the bond between Sabine and Ezra, and what she did see of it, she would have likely chalked it up as teammates of similar age. Learning of that bond might be the reasoning behind the line "just like I walked away from Sabine." But never forget what Dave Filoni said in an interview about Sabine during Rebels... "Sabine is no Jedi." Sound familiar? 😜I'm guessing you're not a "read between the lines" kinda person. There have been hints at her Force Sensitivity since her intro Short and the first episode of Rebels, it was just usually overshadowed by Ezra's training and often hidden by her own upbringing as a Mandalorian. Also, go back and re-watch Sabine training with the Darksaber, specifically what Kanan and Hera discuss over the comm. You might find it enlightening.
EDIT: I just took another look at that episode and noticed 2 more things. Sabine's shoulder armor has an image of Maori, the convor that follows Ahsoka since "The Daughter" saved her... and when Ezra tries to comfort her and she kinda snaps at him, and they go in different directions for a while... the "rock" she kicks in frustration just before she walks off, gets up revealing it wasn't a rock, but Bendu, looking at her retreating form in deep thought, as if sensing something, possibly her inner turmoil, possibly more.

I highly doubt it. My observations:
-we see Sabine watching a message from Ezra but it IS NOT the same holographic message left for the whole Ghost crew/team. I tend to think Ezra left a message behind ONLY for Sabine to see.
-Sabine was born with nearly every gift imaginable. Beauty, athletic prowess, smarts, knack for engineering and mechanical inclination, confidence and for good or bad-attitude. And being Mandalorian of high status she has been trained in weapons and hand-to-hand since she was able to walk. Force-sensitivity seems too much. I think Kanan would have sensed it long before the arrival of the dark saber. Oh and flamboyant artistic expression is not really a jedi trait.
-There is the scene where Sabine is on the ground holding her palm up as if to release some sort of force burst. I don't think that's what is happening.
Does everyone remember that in the animated series during the "Trials of the Darksaber" Ezra and Sabine are training with sticks. Sabine voices her frustration to everyone. Along comes Fen Rau, with a uniquely Mandalorian gift, wrist braces filled with gadgets and weapons to counteract/repel jedi force abilities.
I think Sabine is just using a tactic against Shin Hati. Luring Shin in closer the hit Shin with something from the wrist braces. Perhaps something completely new of Sabine's own invention.
I think what has happened is that Exra left a message exclusively for Sabine to see. He may have had some sort of force-induced vision that Sabine and others would, in the future, be in danger from yet-unknown force wielders. Ezra saw Sabine defeat the brute Gar Saxon. However facing off against a trained force user is something else all together. This is likely why Ezra left his light saber behind with Sabine. Ezra understands Sabine probably better than anyone now and nows how she gets frustrated when upset or how she unravels when she gets really emotional, like she did with her darksaber training with Kanan. Ezra sees that Sabine needs to dramatically step up her lightsaber skills and get better control of her emotions, much like jedi. Ezra also knows Sabine has a stubborn streak and why he needs her to "see this through". Ezra is not around to protect or train Sabine himself. Ezra wants Sabine to get ready to protect herself. Who else is around that Sabine could train Sabine like a jedi but not actually as a jedi. That person is Ahsoka.

Seeing the two first episodes, I think that practicing in the Jedi ways, can open oneself to the force, it won’t make one more powerful, but able to use what they have that they usually are not tapping into. It has been explained that everyone has the force within them.

I cant believe sabine and her parents looks and acts just like us and resembles us completely!! Even their names!! Her parents' first names are literally our nicknames!! And wren is another name of my girlfriends last name?!!!! We were nicknamed Sabine cause that was our names combined and we was always together. This is insane?!!

I think Sabine is curious about the force and wants to see if she could harness it, I thonk she will gail in that however, possibly learning basic force tricks at the most, maybe just about being able to move a cup barely, Ahsoka may be taking her on for combat training, similar to basic lessons off Kanan.
If she is indeed training the force and becomes a powerful force user it would diminsh her character as shes great without it.
Keep Sabine as herself not Rey MkII.

In the trailer we see Ahsoka don an Old Republic uniform…the patch on her left shoulder is clearly is from that era…rewatch the trailer…Hera & Sabine’s jackets have the insignia of Obi-Wan & Anakin’s fleet from the Clone Wars…the Open Circle fleet….Hera may also know there’s a bigger threat than Thrawn…right now Ahsoka & Sabine aren’t seeing the bigger picture here..the Grysk…due to their shared tunnel vision…I wonder how Nightswan,Eli & Arl’ani will play into Ahsoka.
