I went to college there in the 1980's. We had classes at the Sunburst center. The buildings were sort of run down but they were trying to rehab them plus it was cool to learn about Architecture in this interesting structure. That was on the other side of campus and we walked from our dorms to the SB center.
I worked there in the late 1960's as a nurse. I cared so much for my patients in the geriatric ward. It was terrible what they did and not help all the patients and released them to the streets.

There's a happy ending for the Sunburst Building. It's being fully renovated as part of an apartment complex.
