I've watched the interview many times. She didn't say that. But left it up to the audience to assume that's what she meant. She's been recently promoting The Orville at cons. She also recently said she's hoping for a 4th season. I think she'll definitely return to the role. But she'll probably get a better contract this time around.
@@HariSeldon913 Having seen that interview, my takeaway was just that it depends. If her concerns are dealt with, she can probably be convinced to return. She's important enough to the show that they'd be wise to take her concerns seriously.
I can't wait, I just hope they get the original cast back. It'll probably be on a streaming service, so I'll wait for the full season then binge it in a month. 😄
There´s a question that sometimes pop up in my mind. If they have energy-matter converter technology, i mean the food replicators, why don´t they have teleportation technology as Star Trek has?
Good question. While they do have replicators, they haven't cleared the technology for human trials. There's also the moral question of whether or not a replicated human would still be the same person after teleportation, not to mention you'd have to unalive the original person in order to replicate them. We do know that transportation technology does exist a couple hundred years later in the timeline. Storywise, the writers didn't want to include the tech in the show because it would allow for an easy way to escape a complicated situation. They didn't want the excuse to write simple escapes. Take care! :)
@carlosalfenas100 Hahaha 😆 I've been saying the same thing for years. Transporters are evil. 😄 When you use one, you die, but the duplicate lives on unaware they are duplicates (why would they?). Transporters can also duplicate you (Riker), send you to an alternate reality, turn you into children, turn you into energy (Picard), send you through time. I know I'm missing a few, but those damn things are dangerous. 😀 The incident with Riker confused me the most... where did the extra mass come from? His pattern reflected creating two? 😵💫
It's great that season 4 is coming. But what is going to happen to Ed's daughter and his relationship with Teleya? Will she die or be a member of the crew as well as his daughter. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
There's only one thing I would change in the Orville bridge. That door in the back of the bridge. I would have it closed unless somebody needs to exit or enter the bridge. I'm not a fan of the blue lighting but that side open four gets on my nerves.
With the way Disney's Star Wars has been going, they may be looking at the Orville as a viable alternative.
Only if they keep their hands off and let MacFarlane do his thing. Like how they stayed mostly hands-off with DP3.
They're trying to get all cast back under contract. Not a done deal yet. But Definitely going int he correct direction.
Palicki said in an interview with Michael Rosenbaum that if there was a season 4 she wouldn't do it because of how long season 3 took.

The Orville season 3 is better than Season 2, is better than Season 1, which is awesome. Hopefully 4 will continue just getting better.
So freakin' ready
Seems Orville is becoming more and more violent.
Really? Season 1 was pretty violent.

Hi JP. I'm pretty excited about the new season, but I'm wondering if they're ever going to release Season 3 on DVD. What do you think?
I think they definitely should, but I haven't heard anything about it yet.
@TALKINGTHEORVILLE2 you sound like you're coming down with something 🤔 take care, we don't have Dr. Finn to fix you 😂
I'd kill for them to release a bluray set!
Is it possible that we can achieve this kind of technology by the 25ths century?

Because then we wouldn't get to see Gordon piloting a shuttle.
Great news

I’m sure with so many comments it has to have already been said, but they’re really missing an opportunity here but not going with 4ville.

I hope Scott Grimes isn't just playing games, I hope it's the truth.

Dude, I thought this was a rip-off channel for a minute. Why put on the weird accent? 😅
I'm always trying new things.
@@TALKINGTHEORVILLE2 well, it did sound good, it just didn't sound like you.
