One tip, when you make a set dont use sticks with bark, the beaver will eat the bark or take the stick and not go in ur trap. Good luck out there!!
I noticed tha you didn't anchor your 110 's,if nothing else use uour stand peg to anchor the trap.
You could catch something bigger than a rat,or get a rat by the tail and loose your trap.
Also the rat runs are usually quite easy to see in clear water on the bottom so under ice you can just set along the run tather than looking for the entrance to the rat house.
Bubbly ice is a dead giveaway to a run.
Air escapes from their fur when they leave the house and makes the bubbles in the ice-same for beaver for finding entrance/exit along with bank dens.
Great fact about the air coming out of fur and leaving bubbles.
Another word of caution is to set for a mouse and anchor for a grizzly.
If you got a by catch of an otter your trap anchor might not hold in your first demonstrated set.
I currently have a beaver license for zone 26 and permission to trap a known nuisance beaver population on a golf course and community in Monroe. I'm a Disabled Veteran, and can't drive. Would you like to help locate/trap with me and film for your channel?

@@WhisperingWild Thanks for the reply! I found a brand new lodge on the 16th hole this morning, along with some freshly chewed trees. Set one 330 near the entrance, and another 330 at the back of the lodge, where they have a slide. Seems like they are returning into the surrounding woodlands after eating all the fruit trees and landscaping.
