tom you are a good hearted man making a living doing what us trappers do. please make more videos so I can follow in your ways. you got more common sense then most of the new generations of trappers. keep on harvesting, and may your traps always be full.
There is a lot of assholes commenting, this is how this man is making a living, not many people trap nowadays cause the fur prices have dropped so low. It's hard for someone to be a trapper, I'm glad at least somebody wants to keep the business America was built on alive
Not many people trap nowadays because people realize fur is pointless in a modern world and only a vanity item created out of cruelty.
He could make a business that is in any sense usefull. This is not. A "business" has no value in itself.
+Thomas Bode it's a way of life. Not everybody follows your lifestyle of humble bragging and Starbucks. I'll bet if it were a native Indian doing the same thing you'd give a fuck not. Racist.
James Parvin "a way of life" is a mindless platitude people use to justify poor behavior
+the chemtrail kid you're right. These beaver's way of life and bad behavior are what justify their management. Can't allow their platitudes.
Really great educational video. I appreciate the details and some different approaches. Love the dam trap setting. The proof is in the pudding and your sure bringing in the fruits of your labor. Keep up the great videos. New trapper here and learning alot!
You have no idea how much I enjoy these videos you put out. Thanks for making them so informative.
Thanks for another fantastic video Tom! It learn a ton from you every time. I had the pleasure of meeting you at the national trappers convention in Minnesota last fall and you've always got an encouraging word to inspire with or a bit of instruction to make us better trappers. Thanks again and keep the camera rollin!
Hey Tom!! I'm excited to see your new footage!! I always learn a ton.
Love the vids. brings back good memory's on the trap-line As a young buck i used to trap with an old trapper back in the 60,s Had about 20 miles on a trapline. Check the upper side one day and then the other the next. The ranchers let us use an old homestead to stay in way back in the country. Used to make a little more by firing up the colman lantern and walking the creek to shoot porkey pines to sell the gard hair. Fond memory's.
Great video. You are a good beaver trapper. I learn a lot watching and thanks for taking the time to make the videos.
Thank you Mr Florin for such well taught videos. You are a natural teacher. I have used the "Neon Sign" to great effect allowing me to trap many beaver on a nuisance line. Please make more videos
awesome. I bet brother Tom has some good deer hunting spots. Great video and thanks Tom Florin.
I REMEBER IN 1978 OR 1979 MYFRIEND AND CAUGHT A BEAVER IT WEIGHED 85 POUND I HAVEN'T SEEN ONE THAT SIZE SINCE. WITH WHAT I SEE PEOPLE CATCH NOW A DAY. THE SUCKER WE CAUGHT WAS HUGH. GREAT VIDEO BROTHER GOD BLESS

All good stuff, Lefler frames, some Belisle conibears. Castor sure works great. Nice to see the 660 too.
Man's hubris knows no end. The amount of good beavers do and people just can't understand and utilize their free labor.

Being your trapping for land owners , do they also pay you to trap the beavers,
They do here

ola tom gostaria de saber como faz essas armadilhas faz video montando umas legal
just a question are u trappin to take all the animals off the land or trying to keep a sustainable animal population cuz thats alot of beavers to take from one area in one day
maybe someday I will be as good but not for a long long time ahah Great video!!! thanks for the knowledge!
Great! a lot of beaver there.
Nice job, great video thanks for passing on your knowledge. The handful of idiots who think beaver are in short supply should get out of their cities once and a while.
Is this guy still around?
Yea, the pipe system is a pipe dream of the antis.....does not work and requires a lot of maintenance to try to keep it working. The old beavers are industrious, for sure.
pretty cool. Lets see you trap a wild boar next
I didn't know Colin Flaherty did trapping videos
And where in the world are beavers rare besides on the barbecue?
love you more videos
thanks Tom for taking the time to make these videos. beavers have moved into my man made damn and raped my little corn crop. I'm trying to learn to trap and need lots of advise.
those beavers got their asses handed to them! Well done Tom!
Good eatin!
You’re so pretty amazing. Those beavers will flood everything!
intresting Video
you said that Lure brings you Money
how much do you get for a beaver?
just intrested, here we have ne beavers :-)
His last words kind of take on a new meaning after watching the video.
is this guy still alive? I'm trying to track him down
I learned allot watching you trap, thank you so much for taking the time to teach such a helpful skill. The property I recently purchased has 2 lakes and a pond all of which are completely covered in beaver damage. Well actually, I should say I HAD a 2nd lake until the beavers blocked off the spillway causing water to over run the dirt dam which in turn took it out in a heavy rain thus emptying the complete lake. That was about $10,000 worth of damage in dirt work alone. I've lost over 400 trees due to these rodents and now they have moved to my main lake and are damming up the spillway on that motherfucker. Those little assholes are creating the same exact scenario yet again. My compassion for the animal is at an all time low. I'm ready to battle the beaver. Traps, scent/bait and waders are on order!
check out the mink hunter guy who uses them to hunt and kill stuff. he gets the aggressive ones from the mink farm. just for beaver hater outlets its pretty cool. i want one for muscrats. beaver are total pain in the ass i killed one and its buddies came and took it away. must of had a beaver funeral in the woods. make yourself a beaver hat or something badass.
u guys are just jealous of him no need to say rude things
