I think you are in love with Baldoni 😂 or are being paid by his team 🤔 you defending every detail of him is sus 🤨 or you just really really hate Lively so much that you can simply not accept that she too can be a victim
@PerezHilton Hi! Where did you read that Melissa Nathan spoke negatively about you, about not being existent since 2005? Link the article or clip please.🙏🏼
@@PerezHiltonWhat about the texts in Stephanie Jones’ lawsuit? There were many with a highly negative opinion of JB by Jen Abel and Melissa Nathan.🤔 Remember all the lawsuits are “alleged”.✅ Btw, TS is not involved.
Yeah, this makes more sense now because one of the first things JB’s team claimed was that Blake caused the film to not do well at the box office. As well as it did, it might have made even more with his cut.
@@LinneaSanchez Of course! She and her husband are very popular. I mean I've watched both Ryan and Blake's movies in the past cause I use to like them. I've lost my respect for her after watching her interviews. Now she did this? Really?
Ppl were so swayed by Blake with the "believe all women," and that is damaging when you don't have all the facts! It's honestly evil, IMO. All those Blake fans are eating all their words now.
Right? Even in texts he showed annoyance and shock at her boldness but at the same time, he allowed her to do them and showed professionalism and respect towards her. She saw him as a low end, no name director and thought she could walk all over him and his project. A total narcissist fuelled by her equally narcissistic husband, Ryan Reynolds. The absolute gall of this woman is shocking! I dont believe her harassment story either.
Professionalism and respect? That's why he added sexually explicit nude scenes during filming and a detailed scene of the younger Lily losing her virginity????? That's why the other women AND Blake's OTHER leading man are fully supporting her and everything she's detailed in her complaint - because they think Baldoni is so professional and respectful - are you kidding???? He questioned Blake about her and Ryan's sex life and orgasms AND he & his producing partner walked into her trailer without consent and told her about their sexual experiences and pornography addictions - wow, that sounds like professional, non-sexually exploitive behavior. Baldoni AMITTED to having sex without consent (btw, that's called RAPE). He told Blake "Did I always ask for consent? No. Did I always listen when they said No? No." Not only is that an admission of MULTIPLE rapes, when a man tells a woman that, it's a clear-cut THREAT. It's unbelievable that any woman is supporting him. Read Kate Beckinsale's post of all the things she's had to deal with on sets and her supporting that nothing has actually changed since Me Too - the same things are still happening to women.
@@fredalwatkins4506 good! He's ego is the size of Canada anyway. I don't think he's as nice as he makes himself out to be. Even Martha Stewart called him out. Lol
Not only did she “self select “ her wardrobe, but she said she didn’t want to wear the clothes wardrobe dept had worked hard to make/get for her character. Slap in the face to the crew. She took advantage of an inexperienced director/actor in the business who has a kind heart. Time to cancel her /Ryan
if you look into Justin's resume, he isn't an inexperienced director. He has directed some wonderful films. He is a sensitive and caring person who trusts in the good in others and thus got played by a Narcissistic Hollywood power-hungry diva.
@@ravenofthewild Sensitive and caring??? That's why he was sexually exploiting multiple women on set - cause he's so caring???? That's why he had to apologize to his wife????
BL came off as promoting her new haircare line and her husband's new movie. did he have a new product he was marketing? after he sold off the liquor business and cell phone shares...
The Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa had to reach out to the NYT because they included her video (interview with BL) without verifying if she had any involvement in the "smear campaign". NYT had to give an update to clear Flaa's name, but they couldn't admit to any wrongdoing because they could be liable. They definitely lost some credibility here.
And her video was really THE worst thing that spread about BL online. I know it’s the thing that made me not like Blake: it was pretty gross. And that had nothing to do with boldoni. But she wants him to fall on the sword of her own mistakes
@@girlonfire2.076 Oh I hope she does. Then all her LIES will be revealed. She is despicable. She didn't have the skillset as a journalist and now she's jumping in to try and monetize her lies.
@@kellykirk4244 That interview was 100% Flaa's fault and a result of her not having any skills to be a journalist of that caliber. When you're interviewing in another country, it's YOUR job to know what's acceptable or not. It's clearly NOT acceptable in our culture to talk about a woman's body or refer to pregnancy as her "bump". That was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Blake reacted to her rudeness - that's only standing up for yourself when someone is incredibly rude.
@@April-zb8fkno .. Blake had already announced tat she is pregnant. Flaa was simply congratulating.. anyone wud do tat if one makes an announcement. If u make an announcement about some death, people will offer condolences, if it’s a happy news they offer compliments.. if BL had not announced anything and yet Flaa spoke abt her body, that would be a mistake. Blake simply turned snarky .
I've seen so many Blake supporters saying that because she was a producer on the film, it gave reasoning for her to do the things she did... and my thought is, you think Justin and his partner spent millions acquiring the rights to the book just to give up control of his own movie.. to the Lead Actress??? Lol I mean, have some common sense.
@marcodraven9778 You are right on the money! Hes not a famous director. He’s green and new but probably still came in somewhat confident in his vision and it ticked her off. She stomped on him, chewed him up and spit him out. She felt she knew better than him. She obviously didn’t trust him to make the right choices. She knew what she was doing the whole time. This was about power and control from day one. She didn’t want to give him the respect an actor should give a director and she made him pay. And when people started sensing her mean girl vibes she had to make him the scapegoat again. I can see right through this bs
After listening to both sides, if I was shooting a movie tomorrow and had to choose between working with Justin or Blake, I would feel way more safe working with Justin. Blake sounds manipulative, sneaking and not genuine. Scary how she’s twisting things to make them sound way more sinister
And that’s why I say I think Blake is done!!! because no one is going to want to work with her because she could do the same thing she’s doing to Justin if she does not get her way.
That's why her other male costar and female costars are ALL supporting Blake and why Brandon Sklenar told everyone to READ her complaint. They were on set - you weren't.
@@April-zb8fkYou don't think her flouncing her influence everywhere wouldn't also include talking shitt about JB to other people to get them on side? She has been proven to be a manipulator.
Honestly, I never really liked Blake Lively. She just seemed like she was fake nice. Seeing all the old interviews, how she treated people and how she handled the PR for this movie… then add the fact that these two powerful stars took control of HIS film, he wasn’t allowed to see the final edit….. AND were trying to keep him from his own premiere?? It’s really twisted. I’m glad to see how many people agree with me.
Oh yeah! I saw that interview too. All the more I believe Justin because he said that before the lawsuit. Looks like Blake has been really stepping over directing the film. Poor Justin! And shame on you Blake!!!
Right from the get go I knew something about it stinks. It wasn't her movie and yet she and Ryan was meddling so much. She knew she blew the promotional tour and people thought she was shallow and made to look like the movie was a rom com. I honestly feel bad for Baldoni. He had the rights to the book, directed and produced the film and yet made to look like a nobody. Every single one of their costars that sided with Blake should be called out when the truth comes out. Blake and Ryan are disgusting people who arent' afraid to weild their power in Hollywood.
She did what she wanted, stepped all over everyone affiliated with the film, and she got Sony to back her up in every way. Blake and Ryan need to be canceled. The regular people are sick and tired of greedy bullies. We've had enough and we aren't going to take it anymore. I stand with Justin Baldoni ❤
That disgusts me. Women have been fighting male abuse sexual and otherwise since the beginning of time. Did the Me Too movement teach you nothing? Wait until it's YOU who's abused and not believed. Women who don't stand up for other women are actually worse than the male abusers.
Yes!!! Nobody is talking about the extent of how darkly INSIDIOUS this plot Blake and Ryan came up with. Go back into old articles from around late-August to mid-September-the plan was given back then that Ryan was concerned Justin wouldn’t recast Blake for the sequel and he kept trying to buy the rights from Justin who wouldn’t sell. They’re doing all of this over a MOVIE ROLE. They sought out to destroy Jusin’s career, his reputation, paint him as a sexual deviant, a misogynist , make him a social pariah, and bankrupt him - they set out to ruin his ENTIRE LIFE over a movie role she wanted. This is psychopathic behavior.
If Baldoni is more powerful than Blake and Ryan combined i would’ve believed this accusation. But we all know that Blake and Ryan are two power couple in hollywood and Baldoni is nothing compared to them. This is purely powertripping because Blake’s ego can’t fathom the idea that she’s cancelled.
@@starwood213 Not strange at all. He was producing and directing the movie. He thought he had all the power and clearly he did. The fact that he was bold enough to do all that shit is nauseating but men in Hollywood (and everywhere else) still think they can do anything they want.
@@April-zb8fk Unsubstantiated allegations at this stage. As it happens Baldoni didn't have all the power, either within the movie or in the industry generally.
@@starwood213 And you know that because you're a powerful Hollywood player???? That's your perception. Men often feel they have the power - solely because they're men. Do you actually think Blake added that to the complaint without knowing her driver will testify to those facts?????? It makes me sick that so many women are on his side. I'm 69 and waited decades for ME TOO, and yet none of you young women learned anything from it. Read Kate Beckinsale's post. She doesn't know either Blake or Baldoni, but she DOES know Hollywood and how women CONTINUE to be sexually exploited and abused and even other women won't stand up for them because they're afraid to lose their own careers. Did you learn nothing from Harvey Weinstein??? He ruined so many women's careers and even though there were rampant rumors, he was untouchable for decades and other producers agreed to blacklist whichever actresses he wanted.
There are an unbelievable number of red flags in Blake’s lawsuit, making it hard to understand how her team and those around her thought it was a good idea to bring this lawsuit and article into the public eye. The lawsuit is filled with bizarre assumptions and displays of narcissistic victim behavior.
@amandamandamands lol all her lawyer sees is ka-ching 🤣 $$$. they have enough money to twist everything they can to fix her image so cause or not, it's all about framing their lawsuit and evidence manipulation.
I think she was hoping it would cast enough doubt in the public eye that she would get some of her reputation back. Like people wouldn't know who to believe and she could win some fans back. It seems like she thinks she's the smartest person in the room at all times and didn't count on JB having a brain (he's much smarter than her because he has emptional intelligence, which counts for a lot) or the guts to let it all out for the world to see. Actually, even though no one wants to go to court like this, this could be a major win for him. She and RR totally railroaded him throughout production, and got him blacklisted with the other cast members and the author. This is her own karma coming back at her. She's an opportunitst. Incidental she started selling her booze line again on Instagram. Probably hoping the media would help drive sales.
Team Justin. The only problem I see with JB is he didn't stand up to Blake. How could he ? He was up against BL, RR, WME, Sony who all sided with the ones with money. Now JB is fighting back. I hope truth prevails.
I agree, although I totally understand how hard that would be. He’d lose millions, plus tons of time, and she may have done this anyway. But you have to set boundaries with bullies or else they will walk all over you.
Whether she is right or not, most of those in Hollywood support her. In the end, she will still win in style. We need to support women. He has been canceled, and she will return with even stronger evidence, possibly.

Truth WILL prevail - Blake is telling the truth. But even when Baldoini loses everything, women like you will still believe him. Why is it that women can't see the truth until it happens to THEM???
I saw some clips, not the whole thing but the clip I saw was bad ... She literally looks like she's had 4 kids, her walk, her posture all of it. Then I googled and I was right, she has four kids, she is the epitome of middle aged, trying to play a naive young adult.... I am a mother, I am not delusional that a lot changes the older you get.... She looked really tacky and gross....
From how she reacted to Flaa’s baby bump comment to how she reacted to Baldoni, it seems she’s very hypersensitive about her weight and appearance. Of course that’s probably at least partly due to the scrutiny of being in the public eye, but that’s no excuse for her trying to ruin the man’s entire life and career over it. He said he’s going to release all of his texts with Lively. The texts in her lawsuit were damning, but if he’s telling the truth, their direct texts with each other should shine some light on it. Hopefully the truth prevails and not just power and money.
Me too. I feel the film has potential but the ending was off. I heard he has a different cut but Blake's cut override, which is wild because she's not the director.
Me too! Her version is one dimensional and boring. I wasn't aware that it was her version that I watched, now I know why I felt the way I did about it. Based on his past work, I believe his version will have more substance and layers, which would make a far more interesting movie.
Why??? It's obvious: film about dv, Baldoni was just trying to be PC and accomodating to women's needs. He was trying to be a gentleman and she took advantage by trying to bully him and when that didn't work, she accused him of a man's worse fear: to be accused of abusing women. It's horrible.
Also, what is up with her lawsuit and all the "work" she claims to have lost in how many months? Nah, she's not that in demand. And her kids are upset? WTF is she confiding in her kids, big bad Justin hurt mommy? These people!
Right! Her kids are traumatized? Aren’t they toddlers? How would they know unless she talked about it around them and showed how bruised her big ego got from all her self-inflicted bad press?

@saadiahahmaddaud1991 He isn't canceled, but it's looking like she is rn! It doesn’t matter who she is or who she knows. Everyone "canceled" Johnny Depp until we all found out the facts. And JB facts and documents are proving Blake to be a manipulative, abuse of power, and narcissist along with her husband Ryan Reynolds.
Honestly, I think it was insidious, just like DV. A little exertion of control such as wardrobe (trash), a little more with the script etc. until they were kissing her butt every second, then she turned dark and started threatening to bail, so I think she wrested control little by little. She has to be a narcisssist not to see how this is only going to tarnish her reputation even more and certainly exposes her to so much scrutiny - she has to be dumb AF not to have foreseen this.
Sony sent out conflicting messages. Letting someone who didn't purchase the rights and who was not the director have final say suggests that Sony is also the problem. Sony, Blake, and Ryan all seem like they were against Baldoni, and they might have set this thing up, so Sony can get the rights to the sequel and further books. This is truly a power grab. Collen Hoover's books are winners, and they're all trying to get their claims. It's like Justin realized something about Hoover's books that the others didn't, and they're mad that they didn't get the rights first.
I hope that he won’t sell his rights because in a few years, he may be able to do the sequel. And hopefully he will have learned from that awful experience. He was too kind to face all these sharks.
@@YayaBolender I wish he had known about these sharks earlier, but a little digging, and he would have discovered Sony being shady with Michael Jackson's 50% ownership in the Beatle's catalog. They wanted those rights. He died, but his father was still alive. I'm assuming he refused to give them up. However, when he died, they went after Katherine. I don't know for certain, but I think Sony got those rights now. Justin Baldoni couldn't foresee Blake being this disruptive, but anytime a woman, especially a white woman, is married to a major power player in any industry, expect there to be some disruption. He rejected her being a producer initially, but I think Sony might have pushed the issue, allegedly. However, my claim is easily validated by how much power Sony gave to Blake and likely because of Ryan Reynolds status. The final cut of the film is Blake's and not Justin's vision. Ridiculous.
I love the fact that Baldoni never denied anything as "It did not happen at all", instead he gave clear context behind each and everything that was manipulated which makes him so much more believable and genuine in my opinion.
he actually did finally straight up say that with this latest round accusations. My opinion is Lively reaaaallly likes to push her luck. Up until now, court documents have shown Baldoni repeatedly checking in with "his team" to get assurance they didn't play a role in the negative headlines. Nope, she did that to herself. He kept reacting like he just wanted this to go away (coward, guilty conscience... both?). I got the vibe he hoped they'd each give the benefit of the doubt to each other that some of this was a misunderstanding. I'd wager it's a bit of a mix, but she's shown she is not above ridiculously dramatic claims that can be easily disproven
IMO....Blake did not read the book, it is very sexual and definitely a heavy adult topic. She was uncomfortable doing sex scenes and thought Justin was a pervert. Justin bought the rights 5 yrs ago and planned to direct it. It was Colleen Hoover that suggested that he should play Rile. So Blake being the unprofessional actress that she is, hated the sex scenes, in her mind she thought Justin just wanted to make out with her. So she took control of the project and tried to make into rom-com. They both have different creative visions, Justin's was trying to stay true to the story of the book and Blake was trying to do a whole other different story about her.
And it's no coincidence that Melissa Nathan was involved in both cases. I wonder how many of the so-called women leaving comments are actually Melissa or her employees?????????????????????
I hate to say this - I really do because she is a very pretty woman BUT she did look heavy - and who wouldn’t only 4 months after giving birth? But who forced her to do this so soon after the baby? In most jobs no one should ever talk about your weight but this is acting in a movie playing a certain type of character - And the character was a 24 yr old sexy girl who got caught up ins a very sexual relationship. With an older powerful man. The book was a LOT of sex!! OF Course there’s going to be sex scenes - nudity and the sex scenes are important ones that define the story! Someone else could’ve played it so much better!! She was clearly uncomfortable with the sex but that WAS the book and the draw of the story is that the DV starts mixing in with the sex - so the reader as well as the character is thrown off balance and questions whats really happening - I think this is what Justin’s vision was. Blake looked like a tired new mom - not what the part calls for until the very end when she’s given birth. Did anyone else read this damn book besides me ? And why is Colleen Hoover not supporting Justin when he seems to have the truer vision of her story?
I read the book and I'm questioning myself now why I was agree that IEWU is her best book. The actress play young Lily is the perfect one. (It's just my opinion Blake, don't sue me too) and not just this book, most of Hoover book talk about sex a lot and she insisted to cast her. So maybe she is die hard fan toward Blake.
If she refused to meet the intimacy coordinator he then had to have discussions with her about sex scenes. If she became her own wardrobe coordinator he had to discuss the wardrobe with her and how it looked. He was after all the Director. Sounds like he was caught in a horrible trap by a coercive controller and couldn't win no matter how he behaved.
Just saw the movie yesterday cause i wanted to see what all the hubub was about. I have to say, the conflicts behind the scenes, knowing about the manipulation of parts and rewriting - was very clear in the final result. the entire thing feels very disconnected, botched up like unrelated scenes were lumped together in one final version. it very much feels like “let’s fkin get this over with”. Very few of the scenes flow together and i struggled to mentally fill in the blanks for the story to flow together logically. And i’ll preface this by saying it’s the first time i ever see Justin act, have no idea who he was before this, and i’ve also only seen Blake act in that one with Anna Kendrick (which i solely watched cause i love Anna). Haven’t watched Gossip Girl, don’t follow her career at all. It’s almost a clean slate with me for both of them. Blake’s acting in this was VERY monotone, its was pretty much one thing, and the incessant laughing/ giggling at every single scene, barely any nuance - very off putting. The ONLY scene i could take seriously at all was the dv scene which did look quite realistic (sadly i would know, i’ve been in that situation in a prev relationship). But because of my own exp, that’s not what a woman behaviour is when she’s in a dv relationship. There is no incessant giggling :/ and dinners and light hearted “scenes”. HOWEVER, even if i don’t know Justin as an actor, his portrayal made sense, it was much better done. It was a gradual growth to his characters violent behaviour, and it flowed a lot more naturally than Lily’s portrayal. For me, Justin was a great actor here, taken totally separate from what we know allegedly happened behind the scenes. I am happy Blake probably never went through this, and i pray less and less women do, but it was very obvious why she didnt care much to accept to promote it as “florals”. Cause when you’re actually serious about caring about this topic, or you know someone close to you who’s been through it - there is no way in hell you can accept that promition of this very serious subject. I will applaud Justin for breaking script and taking it seriously. Fuk that contract, this subject is REAL LIFE for so many women, it’s not just a PR thing. I will forever applaud Justin for breaking what he was asked. it’s BECAUSE i have been through DV, that i simply cannot accept Blake’s bullshit claims - on that second part about the PR wars. No honey, that was your choice to accept the promotion of DV as something light. You can yell “women gotta stand up for women” all you want, but you betrayed women when you accepted to promove the very serious subject, in that way. You chose money and your businesses over bringing light to DV cases. Cause if you actually cared like you say you do, you’d have been revolted at Sony’s ask to portray it lightly. But you didn’t care at all.
Yeah. Young Lily is the perfect age. I don't know her name is. If she felt too old, actually is a fact. But the author is insisted and now the drama isn't end yet.
I tried watching the movie after reading the book. I got about 25 min in and had to turn it off! Her acting was TERRIBLE! She was trying so hard to be quirky.
It does happen though. "Director's cut" is a common thing you see, say in the DVD add-ons, because it's usually longer and not commercial enough. It's my understanding of what director's cuts mean at least.
@@boubeurddirectors cut means the directors choice over the studios choice, and it's usually done because the film is too long or not commercial enough for general audiences. It doesnt mean that one of the actors in the movie got to submit their version. Also, according to the suit, BL fired all editors and hired RR associated editors and JB and the original editing staff were not allowed to see the final version. It's in his case. If you read the whole thing you'll see she totally took over and bullied him out.
I wonder if Blake Lively realizes that if you sue someone under false pretense, including doctoring text messages or falsifying any kind of information, that’s called fraud. The court system doesn’t like that. She could literally go to jail if he has the real receipts.
I think he's glad Blake is suing him, (bad move) because now his lawyers can petition her, RR, Sony exs & both PR teams: ALL emails and texts for discovery. She opened Pandora's box. Her best move was to keep quiet and move on, this whole drama went away by Nov till she filed that complaint.
Well he did sarcastically did say during the premiere that she should be the next director of this is us and that she is something else. I’m sure there was truth to that when he said that before she filed the lawsuit 🤣🤣🤣 I hope princess gets put in her place during the lawsuit
She has so much power during and after the movie. That means she is lying about sexual harassment. She is the one controlling everything. She is lying 100%.
Justin kept trying to appease her; but failed to realize that you can’t appease a bully. Justin seems like a genuinely nice human being who got played by Blake and her husband. Ryan Reynolds was probably jealous of Justin who is extremely handsome. I hope Justin gets his just desserts!
I find it difficult to understand how anyone can support Blake. While Justin may not be without fault, Blake appears to be extremely self-absorbed, and her actions have not been beneficial. Her continued refusal to apologize to the reporter she treated so cruelly speaks volumes about her character.
She didn't treat the journalist cruelly. The so-called journalist had no skillset to be interviewing any American, must less at that caliber. The journalist was the one who was rude. It amazes me so many young women don't know it's completely innapropriate and rude to refer to or talk about a woman's body or "bump". Any credible journalist would know that. Blake reacted like most of us would to such a disrespectful comment!
@@April-zb8fkShe had been interviewing big Hollywood stars for 15 years - much bigger stars than BL. BL had recently openly talked about her pregnancy, in talkshows etc. BL was extremely unpolite and arrogant
@@annainkala6219 @krisa6580 Hi Anna, thanks for the question. Since you referred to “American” celeb women, I’m assuming you may be from a different country. As you know, there are different cultural customs in every country. You can do a search for hand gestures and see that any one hand gesture may mean something really positive in one country yet be incredibly offensive in another. The same is true of social communication. Just to try and avoid confusion, by “social” communication, I mean ANY communication between humans in any type of setting with perhaps the exception of sisters or family, but even there you’re taking a risk and might want to think twice before breaking the rule I’m going to explain. I can assure you if I’d said the same thing to one of my sisters about their “bump”, I would have been screamed at, and shamed by my entire family, AND considered stupid. In answer to your question, the American social “rule” that I’m referring to is not specific to Celebrities per se. There is not a separate rule for women who are celebrities. There IS an American rule for how humans socially communicate with women with regards to women’s bodies AND pregnancy. I assume this rule exists in many if not most of the countries on this globe. It is considered incredibly RUDE, INAPROPRIATE, CONDESCENDING, BELITTLING, SNARKY, AND “INVASIVE” to make any comment about a woman’s “bump”. It comes across as body-shaming, NOT congratulatory. The same goes for her body, her weight, her general appearance, etc. It is equally inappropriate (and all the other bad words) to question whether a woman is pregnant (when she very well may NOT be pregnant, and even if she is, she’ll likely find your question offensive). In general, it is inappropriate and offensive to talk about a woman’s body at all. Taylor Swift and Lady GaGa have both addressed this in the past few months as both have been targeted with hate-filled, belittling, condescending, body-shaming comments by both men and women. In some cases, the “intention” of a comment was not meant to be offensive, but the language is so offensive, it negates the original intention. I am undoubtedly older than you or the other ladies in these comments, but I’ve heard this rule my entire life. It’s been in articles, online, on talk shows many, many, many times in just the past few years. I did an online search “is it rude to mention a woman’s bump” to see what AI would say. Bing’s response: "CONSIDERED RUDE It is considered rude to mention a woman's bump, as it can have a negative impact on her mental health and confidence." Google’s response: "Yes, it is generally considered rude to mention a woman's "bump" unless you are very close to her and she has explicitly shared her pregnancy news with you; commenting on a woman's baby bump can be seen as an invasion of personal space and can be uncomfortable for her, even if the intention is not malicious." Now going back to your question about American female celebrities. I’m sure you understand when there are “rules” about social communication in general, they are MAGNIFIED in any working/professional setting. The way you talk to your best friend is NOT the way you talk to your boss. The way you talk to your sister is not the way you talk to your coworkers. In any work or professional setting, you are expected to follow social etiquette “rules” and communicate (verbally and in writing) in a professional manner. The rules are magnified 100% when you are in a highly professional situation that is being filmed “for the public” such as a (supposedly) professional journalist interviewing actors (OR for ex Barbara Walters interviewing Sadam Hussein). Whether you were raised in America or any other country, you are expected, even required, to know the social etiquette rules of the country you are in or the country of the people you’re interviewing. The moment the journalist referred to Blake’s “bump”, she crossed a line so huge it astonished me when I watched the interview. As I’ve commented on this page, the journalist was 100% responsible for making such a horrendous blunder. Blake’s response was very understandable. I found a Reddit page about inappropriate/rude comments and one poster said: “Not a statement, but when people think it’s even remotely appropriate to just touch and rub my belly. I am so over it happening, I just rub bellies back.” THAT, is exactly what Blake did. Another Reddit user said: "’I've been pregnant, and I would NOT like someone commenting on my body. I would definitely prefer someone to comment on my pregnancy instead. You can’t speak for all women. The normal thing to do would be to say, “congratulations on your pregnancy” I’ve never heard of someone mentioning a bump like that." The journalist was rude, condescending, invasive, inappropriate, unprofessional - and Blake shot it right back to her by congratulating the journalist on HER “bump” (just like rubbing someone’s belly who’s invasively been rubbing yours!). Some of you find that rude, but mostly that’s because you’re apparently ignorant of this very commonly known etiquette expectation. Just because some ladies don't know it, doesn't make it ok to be ignorant. If you make these types of comments in general, or especially in a work setting, you might not be called out, BUT you may not be promoted, even if your work deserves it, or you may even ultimately lose your job. This is the kind of offensive communication that’s not overlooked or forgotten by most companies. The journalist was safer not to say anything about an actor’s pregnancy (especially at that early stage), but a professional comment would have been something like “I heard the announcement that you’re expecting a baby. Congratulations, I’m so happy for you!!” That’s professional, positive, congratulatory, kind, genuine and excludes any mention of the actor’s body, bump, stomach, weight-gain or loss, boobs, health, etc. etc. Remember, the point of this interview was to talk about the actor’s PROFESSIONAL WORK (and market the same), not her personal life, and not her body! It is part of the expectation of a professional journalist that she has done the appropriate research and is prepared for each interview. That certainly includes knowing what is considered offensive or rude in either verbal conversation or physical hand or body gestures. That’s honestly the most basic expectation! Imagine Barbara Walters going to an interview with Sadam Hussein and not researching that basic information and offending anyone/everyone in the country!
Neither can I, because she's telling the truth! So are all the costars on the film! So is her driver. Baldoni admitted to sex without consent during a car ride with Blake and her driver. "Did I always ask for consent? No. Did I always listen when they said No? No." If you're unclear, that's RAPE in fact AND under the law! Afterwards Blake's driver said he didn't want Blake to be alone with the Director in the future.
I hope he wins, but that they settled out of court, she has to retract her statements, pay him, and issue an apology. We some civility back in this world, court case would be too much drama.
@ I would actually agree with you in this but the fact that she decided to ruin the holidays for him and his family. I see him taking her to court. The drama she created will hopefully come to an end with a judge siding with Justin.
Just want to point out that it wasn't a official lawsuit from her because it wasn't filed. It was a complaint she strategically gave to NYT right before the holidays so it could simmer before he was able to counter. Also, there has been a few lawyers to point out that her complaint is missing quite a few keypoints to validate her claims in the court of law to win and the details of the complaints are more than what is disclosed in initial filings. Basically its a big PR move on her part and people freaking fell for it. Apparently, no one learned anything from her complaint detailing a smear campaign against her and jumped on the smear campaign against him. Just wow
Thus is the insidious manipulative power of a skilled MEAN girl. I sense JB is a sensitive trusting innocent and he and his team were blindsided by the mean girl tactics. He was probably trying to develop a friendship and revealed his thoughts as if he were talking with a ‘friend’.
@@meveevem1001 I don’t think so - he’s a fairly seasoned actor in the Hollywood ways. I think he sensed early on that BL and RR were going to be trouble - he knows how this stuff works. He swallowed some if his pride and in the texts of his pr people they said he was anxious and a n over thinker so he probably got very nervous. I wonder if it was a wise decision to both direct and act. Maybe BL thought they was a problem too.
Glad you’re sharing this. I love to see narcissistic behavior called out. It’s true how manipulative they can be. It must be exhausting for Baldoni to lay out the facts, but necessary! Narcissists take everything you say and twist it around to benefit them.
All i can say about this is I have no respect for people who claim to have experienced sexual harassment/assault to put someone down maliciously. It’s another level of lying. If JB also comes out clean here, I think people who backed BL during all of this frenzy be frowned upon.
Perez, you should try reaching out to Baldoni's team and getting an interview. It would be a good PR for him and good for us all to hear from him, as well. A win-win situation. :) Thank you for your great coverage of this messy story. Always factual and entertaining!
His lawyers would probably advise against that. If and when he finally breaks his silence in the form of an interview, i would think it would be on a big platform like ABC news in a sit down. However, if I were his advisors I'd say stay away from the media, win the suit and never talk about it again. His words will always be twisted no matter what he says. She however, I will bet money that she will soon be doing a sit down interview about this AH style. She's desperately trying to win back fans. He has nothing to lose at this point, she has everything to lose. If I were here publicist, I'd be working on that right about now. She's a better actor than AH and it could help her a little. Even though I really do not believe her whatsoever, people are gullible.
Justin was upset while making this movie because Blake was taken over and that none of them couldn’t do anything with her. She had her husband there, and they were trying to bully all of them.and the crew and Sony was scared to death of them. And Blake kept making demands wanting to change this and change that and they already had her wardrobe picked out, but Blake didn’t like the wardrobe and they had to go spend more money. Buying new clothes that Blake wanted.. she kept stopping production which cost them lots of money if she didn’t get her way, she said she’s not gonna finish the film so that’s basically how she give everything she wanted just to keep her working. and you know that Justin and a few others has spent all this money and all this time for this movie they haven’t taken away from them. And then, after given her her way all this drama happened after the movie where she wouldn’t go on interviews with him and wouldn’t mention his name in the interviews and was acting like it was her movie.
I was seriously confused when she said he “fat shamed” her asking about her weight for a lift. It seems like a reasonable question so that he could train for it and know what was needed to get it done without anyone getting hurt.
I would love to see Justin interviewed. Justin is a really nice guy and a supporter of women. Honest, if you read his books, seen him interviewed. He’s everything good and kind. Blake is just a snake. Sony needs to answer some questions.
He admitted to sex without consent during a car ride with Blake and her driver. "Did I always ask for consent? No. Did I always listen when they said No? I was hoping he would come with receipts and oh boy does he have them. One thing narcissist star is incredibly ignorant and completely blind to the truth so it’s easy to show they‘re liars
pretty much what i expected.. she tried to take too much creative power and reprimanded him on set like a little schoolboy, he didn't like that and used her unlikable personality to sell the movie, now she's trying to salvage what's left of her reputation and play the victim by painting him as the bad guy and obviously he has to respond to these accusations and continue exposing her.
🙀🙀😵💫😍 Been riding with Perez for years now! Perez is my addiction! This is getting juicy by the hour! Keep on giving us the tea Perezito! We live for this!!
This is starting to feel like a Public DV situation; so dumb! I hope JB gets justice. I will not watch that movie or anything RR/BL are involved in! They are too toxic to be a part of any sort of DV film production. How tone-deaf/and dumb do you have to be?!
Because she is becoming difficult to work with and the studio is making her go her own way or else she will not promote the movie. She was trying to take over the movie. What a mess this movie was.
I would love to see his cut of the movie since Blake is so tone deaf. I have no interest in seeing this movie because of her manipulative behavior. She does not even look like a 23 year old and it was the worst decision to give her the role. She has complicated every aspect of making this movie and from what I have seen, the wardrobe was really bad!

Oh man. His cut of the film tested better and it didn't matter?
My goodness.
So profit didn't matter to the bosses. I wonder what kind of p*wer blake has over them to make them choose her over profit.
Yeah, this makes more sense now because one of the first things JB’s team claimed was that Blake caused the film to not do well at the box office. As well as it did, it might have made even more with his cut.
I've always believed him. When you have money and power you think you can get away with everything. We as the public are not very forgiving.

Blake will win for sure. She will present even stronger evidence compared to the opposing side.
Right? Even in texts he showed annoyance and shock at her boldness but at the same time, he allowed her to do them and showed professionalism and respect towards her.
She saw him as a low end, no name director and thought she could walk all over him and his project.

The absolute gall of this woman is shocking!
I dont believe her harassment story either.
She's going to damage herself and ryan Reynolds
BL came off as promoting her new haircare line and her husband's new movie. did he have a new product he was marketing? after he sold off the liquor business and cell phone shares...
Absolutely agree
The Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa had to reach out to the NYT because they included her video (interview with BL) without verifying if she had any involvement in the "smear campaign". NYT had to give an update to clear Flaa's name, but they couldn't admit to any wrongdoing because they could be liable. They definitely lost some credibility here.
She should sue
And her video was really THE worst thing that spread about BL online. I know it’s the thing that made me not like Blake: it was pretty gross. And that had nothing to do with boldoni. But she wants him to fall on the sword of her own mistakes

When you're interviewing in another country, it's YOUR job to know what's acceptable or not. Ive not watched the movie. I’ll wait for the directors cut.
Some people don’t understand that when a star gets somewhat big their contracts will come with a producer credit as well
I bet she won't pull that kind of power move on Tarantino, Scott or Nolan.
If i had to choose between these two people...id rather choose justin.Blake just so much drama.😂😂😂

It is sad how many pulled away from Baldoni afraid to be blacklisted by Blake and Ryan.
People are cowards. This happens everyday in corporate America. It’s not really that shocking to me.

She got offended by that comment and when he asked about her weight.
I think she made up the whole sexual harassment claims out of revenge.

@@marialenai.5111 Unbelievable - I've thought Justin was ugly before any of this started. No accounting for taste. If he was so good looking, he wouldn't have to RAPE so many women! Justin Baldoni is a class act, but honestly he was such a push over, its hard to believe he victimized her. A guy that would allow his film to be highjacked the way she did to his movie is not the predator. What a joke!
He did it because she refused to finish shooting the movie, and he was fed up with her antics and wanted to get it done
@@gemrose8r It was Sony who made the decision to allow Blake and Ryan to take over. They didn't give Justin a choice. Follow the money.
I don’t know him at all, but because of this case, I tried to find out about him. He seems fine. Whether he is right or wrong, I still admire his previous work.

That’s how narcissists work.
Lively felt BOLD enough to troll Princess Catherine!
@@meritaranto3762 I had forgotten about that. A telling statement of Character right there.
Na fr tho cuz what was she thinking?!
@@janetb3063 dumb AF I agree but her lawyer should be disbarred.
Ridiculous.
I fully believe him.
Shame on Sony for allowing all this nonsense - they could've reigned her in
WME encourages this kind of behavior in their clients. They also send bot farms to defend their clients online

No. Just people that can form their own opinions based on the facts provided @@April-zb8fk
Look how she thanked him in the end! She’s so vicious!
Exactly!!
Well said! I haven't read the book, but I've heard that it is quite raunchy.
This gets more cray by the dayyyy!
I know, It's so goood.
Also, if you read the original book… Blake is too old for the part .. it’s a joke! my college age daughters were so disappointed that they casted her.
The author of the book demanded Blake be casted
She got final cut... over the director?
@@lorrainekennedy5762 Sony stepped in and allowed Blake and Ryan to take over
It does happen though.

Ryan Reynolds was probably jealous of Justin who is extremely handsome.

I find it difficult to understand how anyone can support Blake. While Justin may not be without fault, Blake appears to be extremely self-absorbed, and her actions have not been beneficial. Her continued refusal to apologize to the reporter she treated so cruelly speaks volumes about her character.
She has a life of no accountability.
@@April-zb8fk the journalist referred to her publicly known pregnancy! Is that off-limits with American celeb women?
Bing’s response: "CONSIDERED RUDE It is considered rude to mention a woman's bump, as it can have a negative impact on her mental health and confidence." Google’s response: "Yes, it is generally considered rude to mention a woman's "bump" unless you are very close to her and she has explicitly shared her pregnancy news with you; commenting on a woman's baby bump can be seen as an invasion of personal space and can be uncomfortable for her, even if the intention is not malicious."
Now going back to your question about American female celebrities. The normal thing to do would be to say, “congratulations on your pregnancy” I’ve never heard of someone mentioning a bump like that."
The journalist was rude, condescending, invasive, inappropriate, unprofessional - and Blake shot it right back to her by congratulating the journalist on HER “bump” (just like rubbing someone’s belly who’s invasively been rubbing yours!).
I can’t wait until he sues her formally and she has to testify under oath 😬
She will lie. She probably thinks that the law doesn’t apply to her.

Wow she’s so insecure about her weight, age, and all other kinds of things

It's like she could not stand that he was the director and producer. It's like she felt she was above him and knew better than him.
This whole thing should be a movie in itself
There are so many other actresses that were better suited for this role!
Too bad he didn't fire her
He should make the second movie and just get another actress … sounds like everyone would be very happy !!
😂😂😂she had her hand in everything
With a little encouragement from Ryan the ultimate narcissist.
Shame Sony is spineless and greedy much letting two narcissistic couple manipulate then as well.
Thank you for telling the facts about BL's control issues. This is all about Ryan's power. I hope JB wins millions.

I was seriously confused when she said he “fat shamed” her asking about her weight for a lift. It seems like a reasonable question so that he could train for it and know what was needed to get it done without anyone getting hurt.
More likely BLAKE was crying in the trailer about the age feedback 🙄
I would love to see Justin interviewed. Justin is a really nice guy and a supporter of women. Honest, if you read his books, seen him interviewed. He’s everything good and kind. Blake is just a snake. Sony needs to answer some questions.
