We have the same opinions on Maison era. I feel like Dami definitely is an honorable mention, her rap not only built up the song, her whole presence shone brightly this era. Especially during choreo, she had no breaks on stage.
If you don't have siyeon as number in scream and odd eye eras then it's automatically wrong as well as to three in boca is gahyeon, dami, and siyeon. Any other order is just wrong.
The fact that handong only shows up for like 5 seconds in the deja vu mv and STILL owned the era... Her power
no cause she was really holding this pain and ate the song, what a queen
No because "So now, holding this pain" is my favorite moment in their whole discography.

to be honest in the first listen I thought the Prechorus was Yoohyeon until I checked the live stages so I was sad cuz I thought she only had 5 sec line and 5 sec screentime
Can we say that Dreamcatcher really have balanced distribution than any others group… in every songs we cannot predicting who will take the lead, who will rapping, who will the main character of the story. That’s why I love them so much
Tbh Handong's lines pre Deja Vu are really limited, but yeah, i love that they can give her somewhat decent line

Personally I think it was her best title track rap. Better than Bocas even, although her intro in Boca was iconic I think her flow in Maison was better.
To me JiU is first. Im sure there is a reason why JiU has the most lines in Maison but Dami is definitely second. that rap part is fantastic. Third would probably be gahyeon for her la maison part (more than sua) . Im pretty sure sua had theleast lines but had the main center for the hardest part of the dance.
I actually can't pick for Maison. Like, Jiu is first no doubt. But 2 and 3? Gahyeon shined so much in the MV and Sua in the choreo and MV aswell, but Dami's rap is taking it for me and Siyeon looks so cool this eraaa, I can't pick a top 3
Neither can I. This is one of Dami's best raps and her part in the MV and solo choreography is great. But SuA also really stands out in the MV and also in the choreography. She's the only one that nails the choreography when it picks up difficulty towards the end AND does it while singing. Siyeon is just always a stage presence monster and could go into my Top 3 almost every comeback. It says a lot for the group in general that Siyeon's powerful charisma doesn't only not outshine the other members, but they can still outdo her too.
Yeah for Maison I can’t pick. The line distribution is Beautiful and each girl shined. Ever since the Scream era each girl has been giving equal lines which makes it hard to pick jus one fav

I like how at first they seem to put the focus more on Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Jiu (sometimes Sua), like most kpop groups that try to bring the attention to their main/lead vocalists (I still don't know well the difference) and visuals or main dancers, but at some point on good night or what they start pushing more the other members to the spotlight! Gahyeon, Dami and Handong started getting a lot more lines, iconic parts and more things to make them stand out. Thats one of the long list of things that I like about Dreamcatcher. They are one of the few groups that really feels like A Group and not X, Y, Z and friends, they are all equally important and beautiful and worth to pay attention to! (Sorry for my bad english or any mistakes!)

in addition, I'd recommend you to watch Because MV one more time. Gahyeon is a main character (and Jiu ofc), she has very interesting scenes, and that's why people say it's Gahyeon era
They were easily the top 2 in BEcause, I'd accept a tied #1. In that case I'd give SuA #2 and Siyeon #3

2. I dont care about curves. I dont support revealing clothes and thts why their best era is deja vu. 3. I like DC and some of their member without needing them to like me. They can hate me to hell but cant stop me to like them.

For me, SuA is absolutely number 1 for Maison. Both in the music video for THAT epic scene, but then have you seen how hard she goes in the live choreo? SuA 100% is number one for me. Then I'd have Gahyeon as 3 and Dami as 2 because her rap goes HARD, easily her best verse since Boca (and maybe her best overall??). And I'm saying all of this with my Siyeon bias 🤣 anyway here's my top 3 for each era:

I agree that JiU slayed this comeback and needs to be 1st, but for 2 and 3 I jist can't pick: Dami's rap verse is iconic without question, SuA killed the superhero part and the dancing (while singing too!), but also Gaheyon is bias wrecking hard, she's stealing every second she's on screen and "la la maison" is one of the best parts of the song!
nah dami owns maison. look at the choreo. she gets so much center time AND she gets 2 separate spotlight moments (that don't even include her in the center for the opening)
People don't tend to recognize Dami outside of Boca and Bang Bang Bang, which is such a shame. She's literally the most spotlighted member in Maison!!

Wow, this is very accurate! I only think as some said it's so hard with Maison. They all killed it, it's their first OT7 full album and the distribution is really good. Like I saw so many people who thought SuA had a lot of lines just because she was so present in the mv but she "only" has something like 13 seconds. And I absolutely agree about JiU, you can see how exited she was with this comeback. She just glows.
I just wanna say videos like this make me appreciate their discography even more, it's like falling in love again everytime😍
I do like that they give members that don’t have as much screen time/lines more standout lines and moments. It is because usually the singers get the most lines (for obvious reasons) and sometimes, it leaves the other members without any iconic moments themselves. So usually for each comeback, it is like ‘We can see that Gahyeon has really improved but Dami has some really iconic moments. SuA however sounds amazing and Siyeon looks gorgeous’ instead of ‘Lol JiU won this era’ immediately

This is unpopular, but Handong is my favourite vocalist in DREAMCATCHER and I think she deserves to be a lead vocalist.
They pretty much are. Us fans dont think the is a sub vocalist or vocalist since they are all really good.

I don't think it's an unpopular opinion. Many fans love Dongie's voice. I surely do. I think she has more recognizable texture than many vocalists, including in DC. Only Siyeon has that much of a distinct voice I find. Perhaps SuA and Gahyeon too.

1. SuA: was the one that stood out the most in the Mv despite having short lines
2. Dami: the rap was undoubtedly iconic and strong, adding to her way of dressing, she still stood out
3. Gahyeon: Once again we could see this side of the maknae so visual and that can be remembered

Its so obvious that DCC started showcasing the less popular members as they gained more traction, and honestly it worked. Now i think theres no member who stands out so much more than others, and everyone is just generally well-loved. We stan our fair queens!

I saw that many people didn’t agree about the maison one but I completely agree
For me in Scream it's so hard to pick a top 3 because all of them shined so much in both song and mv. Like yeah we got Jiu Dami and Gahyeon but also SuA Siyeon and Yoohyeon were amazing. Scream I think is just one of their top tracks where everything , the music, the lyrics, the vocals, the choreo, the video, everything aligned and had extra synergy that everybody just gave their all and were all the more radiant for it. Besides that I mostly agree with the rest regarding members (tho I would put them in different order) and maybe Maison I would disagree a little bit since I think the two parts in the middle and end where JiU goes then Siyeon goes are what defined the entire song for me.

I'm agree with you but not in all rankings, in deja vu i change jiu to yoohyeon , she sing the chorus and that chorus was so famous, i find it in so mucho tiktoks , intro videos, translations in videos of youtube, and in Boca you can't get out siyeon that was her era whit that high note, and because, the same for yoohyeon, the duet from sua and yoohyeon when sua sings lower like she put a spell on you and yoohyeon sing adlibs made because their era, not just for sua, for both
IMO, there should be swithing order between Dami Gahyeon in Scream and BOCA. Gahyeon more owning BOCA imo, and Dami more into Scream, even though her rap in BOCA is iconic (yes, I said is not was).

I don't really agree with the idea of hierarchy between the most prominent members for each era. For Odd Eye for example it's impossible to choose between Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Handong. For Boca Gahyeon and Dami are at the same level too. For BEcause SuA's rap and Gahyeon's well-fitting personality, voice and acting just can't be ranked.
Also I'm really not fan of Maison. I like the theme and some bits but mostly it feels unbalanced and weird in the rhythm to me. Scream, then Boca, then Odd Eye were pretty much impossible to top. BEcause worked because it was a different concept. But Maison... just falls flat for me.
