Hi. I went there multiple times. Sorry for the slow reply. May should be fine. All summer could have any of these moths. You have to be persistent though. Sometimes you don't see a giant silkworm moth. Please let me know what you find/found.
@@wildlifejames Hi, I went there in the middle of May but didn’t see any big moths. Maybe because the lights there were changed into LED, which is less attractive to insects. But I found stag beetles and some small moths. Thanks for the reply!😊 I will visit there multiple times.
Hi, Are you a reptile professor in one of Taiwan university? How do you know so detail about those snakes and especially their Latin scientific names? Just curious
真好,平地常見天蠶蛾一次都看到
nice!
I went there and saw a male atlas moth, if it wasn’t for your video I would of never went there.
It's interesting that all these moths are there. I guess that the vegetation around there is good for them.
I actually caught one it is very hard to find because it took me a day of looking around. They are actually quite calm during the day time.
quite calm at night too. I saw one on my recent trip to Borneo as well
Thanks for such an informative video! The moths are so amazing!! May I ask you when did you visit there? I’d like to go there in May

I actually am a butterfly collector from Taiwan even though I live in canada.
Thank you for the subtitles! It’s very informative! I’m sure you did a lot of work on translation ❤
Thank you. Yes, the subtitles take ages hahaha.
Thank u for shooting those beautiful moths in Taiwan. That’s very amazing!
Yeah, they are incredible, right? It took a long time before I saw them all. Finally found the atlas moths a month ago.
0:49 是亨利嗎?
2:10 Actias sinensis
Nice
Thanks. They are some pretty awesome moths.

I am just a geek here haha. I do have some background in Ecology, but mostly I am just fascinated by these creatures, so I learn what I can.
