Just stand with us to dismantle these systems and change the country for the better and read up on what policies have affected us, what policies will help us and everyone for that matter, and who is willing to fight to get those policies passed.
Yeah, the whole "white guilt" is just a dumb concept. Like hell will I feel or be guilty because I'm white. Do rich people feel guilty because they are rich? HELL NO. Stop being fake woke. You can say that you didn't have to deal with the same problems as black people and you feel privileged, but you can't speak for your entire race and push these dumb expressions... "white guilt" my ass.
Just help people of color out by changing the rules which treat them differently than others and it's all gucci. What we need is equality of all races. Make love, not warcraft.

I know Cascina is using it sincerely here, but most of the time I don't think people are saying they themselves feel guilty. It's usually just an insult thrown our way for saying the systemic issues are real.

I fully acknowledge problems that black people go through. Always have, always will. But degrading oneself just comes off stupid and as virtue-signaling. It helps nothing, really. You can acknowledge and fight for others without having to further your agenda with "look guys, I'm so guilty of being something I have no control of, my race is so privileged". It just comes off as ungrateful and insulting, especially since she's not even white. She's a whole mix (and there is nothing wrong with that), but it can even come across as racist if she keeps up with this "white guilt" thing. It's a phrase coined by virtue-signaling people on social media and it shouldn't be taken serious.
Just do your best when you're offline. Noone gives a crap about your tweets, videos or anything if you won't do anything to help actual people when you get a chance.

I feel guilty too, I know that I shouldn't but I do, although I don't say it aloud. I hate that when I think about a black person I see them as people who suffer a lot more than I do. The same happens when I think about a person who lives on the streets, I feel kind of guilty. I can understand what it is like to be a woman in this world for example, I know what it's like to don't have enough money, but I can't even imagine how it's like to be hated and denigrated because of a skin colour, so I feel very bad and I hate that I can do things that other people can't, that I can be safe in ways other people can't. Thank you for doing the real work of an ally, which is examining yourself just as much as you examine what’s going on around you. TBH as a black man in merica i honestly believe just asking questions and getting info and the knowledge from each others cultural differences, the struggles we have is what helps. being ignorant and dismissing a whole issue because of fear or in your case ( many others too) dont have a clue what to say or ask on both fronts of the issue which is ok. Hell i wish somebody ask me every once in awhile u doing ok even if its a stranger. id feel compelled to ask somebody else how they doing today myself. Alot of ppl of color dont have that kind of support even from there own family parents because unfortunately our elders dont have the luxury to "hold our hands" .
