Hey guys cardinals fan here. Kyler Murray is defense coordinator insomnia. If you try to contain Murray game plan in one area you will expose other areas you going have to find that balance. The thing about our offense is you never know whats coming. We love our 12 and 13 personnel cause keeps defenses guessing if we run or pass. This be a really good game could come down to who has ball last wins game. Great show guys spot on were area of concern how to contain Kyler. But really it’s how to limit Kyler from making those explosive plays he capable of making. So many storylines to this game. Cardinals are 1-8 against lions not good record. Lions #4 rush defense vs #4 rushing offense. This game will be won in the trenches who can stop other team defense the best. I have great respect for Lions they are well coached disciplined and great players so I leave you now good luck on Sunday great show.
Love the feedback Sam! And I agree that your offense poses a number of challenges for our defense. It will be interesting to see what the Lions choose to focus on as a strategy because while we talked a lot about Kyler Murray, I wouldn’t be surprised if the coaching staff paid more attention to shutting down James Conner and trying to put Murray in more obvious passing situations on 3rd down.
Another Cards fan here, chiming in on a great video. The Lions have a great deal of respect from the fans here and from the organization. You've pretty much had your way with us, historically. I think this is going to be a great game when I had chalked it up as an L when the schedule came out. Keep up the good work.
Paris Johnson vs hutch gonna be interesting
remember the Lions HC talked about biting knee caps.. haha.. I am an AZ Cards fan.. but also like the Lions because of Barry Sanders. This will be the game of the week.. too bad they can't flex this into a primetime slot.
Both teams definitely have a chance to make a statement this week.
Just thinking out loud here... TB was running their D without many of they're Starters, and we certainly didn't have a good showing, in fact we haven't had a good showing yet TY. I'm not saying that we don't have any weapons on O, because we do. But, certainly need to do some things differently or were going to be walking away from Arizona and week 3 really passed off, and frustrated.
The only starter on D that TB were missing initially was Winfield Jr. their other injuries were in depth positions
@@m.monstera2915 came here to reiterate this point!
The Bucs were also missing Kancey in the middle of their DL. But John I agree that the Lions need to find the creative play calling and consistency they showed last year if they want keep racking up wins. Like you said they have the players but need to work out their play execution
Kyler scares me, especially after his last game.
He’s very dangerous with all the athletic tools he has at his disposal and his passing seems to be more on target this season as well. Lions defense will have to bring their A-game on Sunday
I love the lions as a Cards fan, this game is pretty even. It comes down to whose defense gets the most stops. The Cardinals will get TDs and ive noticed the lions have struggled getting TDs. This game circles around the lions offense mire than anything else in this game, if Goff turns the ball over it will probably be a Cards win. Being superstitious I will give the score 30-27 and it could go either way. Realistically I could see a 28 point blowout by either team as well, excited to see this game! Good luck to the Lions they will need it going against the Cards.
I like the analysis and for the most part I agree. The Lions defense has played really well through 2 weeks, but needs their offense to kick it into gear. I feel like if that happens this week and the Lions can sustain drives and convert in the red zone that the Cards may have a hard time holding serve. But if the Lions offense continues to drag along and AZ forces a lot of 3-and-outs that they may be able to put up just enough points to squeeze past us
#4 rushing team vs #4 defensive rushing D...There's gonna be blood in the trenches!
It’s going to be interesting to see which one comes out on top in this one
Lions fan but loosing to Cards would be a necessary wake up call. Can see a loss causing us to get back to basics. Hammer that ball in the run behind that all pro OL. First 2 games trying to be cute, too much Goff.
nice show fellas. I’m thinking this is the get right game for both the Lions Players and Coaches. The one I have the least concern with is MCDC. Sure call me fanboy but I truly think he has a much more sophisticated football mind than people think.
30-6 Lions
If the Lions can contain the Cards offense, which has nearly every way possible to beat you and take advantage of you when you focus on any one thing you are taking away, that will definitely be a get right game. It feels like you are discounting what the Cards are doing and how many weapons they actually have besides Murray, Conner, McBride and Harrison Jr. They also have Higgins, Wilson, Dortch, Jones, Benson, and Demercado.
@JonnyMac313 I mostly agree with you when you talk about this week being a get right game for the Lions. Especially when talking about the offense that hasn’t hit their stride yet. 30-6 is one hell of a blowout but I can definitely see a path to that type of lopsided game if the Lions can continue to shut down the opposing teams run game and put Kyler in more 3rd and long situations
@ssholla92 the Cardinals offense has their fair share of weapons but the Lions don’t really need to take all of them away to make this game tough for Arizona. We talked a lot about Kyler Murray in this video but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lions prioritize shutting down James Conner first and forcing the Cards offense into more 3rd and long situations and generating more pass rush opportunities for their DL.
@@PrideofDetroit Do you think that the talent at each position, overall and OC are better on the Bucs? Or how do you grade the comparison out?
@@PrideofDetroitArizona wants defenses to focus on stopping the run. They play 13 personnel more than any other team to invite defenses to go heavy up front. But a heavier line is a slower defensive front. As a result, Murray gets east-west more easily and has easy drop-offs to McBride, Higgins, Wilson, and of course Harrison Jr.
Key to beating AZ is to control the clock and pray that refs aren’t calling PI on the DBs. Bills could only sneak out a come from behind win by asking Josh Allen to run it himself. And of course refs elected not to throw any flags against Bills’ DBs because no one wants to see PI/holding calls in the final 5 minutes 😂
Replacement at LG may be a good option. Let Grahams heal up and come back better.
Who comes in? What can we expect?
@americanadreaming most likely it would Kayode Awosika to replace Graham if he’s not well enough to play this week
@@PrideofDetroit thx, I was gonna respond back with this same response. He played good in the preseason.
The Cards defense is their weak link. Sure, they did well against the 2nd string of the Rams, as they were missing nearly their entire starting lineup. The Cards arguably 2 best defensive lineman are out, and they didn't have a whole lot of defensive depth to begin with. So this is being held together with bubblegum, popsicle sticks, toothpicks and discount duct tape.
While Ojalari and Robinson are big losses, the depth is not as bad as you think. They are still a decent group
I’d expect Ben Johnson to test that DL group early with Gibbs and Monty this week. Especially after coming off a game where Goff chucked it 50+ times 🤦🏽♂️
28-3 lions
I got the utmost respect for the Cardinals 💯🫡
If we don't build everything off the run game, we're losing this by 2 scores.
After a week of what felt like non-stop passing against the Bucs I’d happily take a run focused game plan this week
