Hopefully in some future years, they will complete their fifth steam locomotive, the climax sitting dismantled in scrap heap shape in the yard. pictures from over 20 years ago show little change in its present condition. Great video by the way!

It’s quite cool. I have seen that little tank engine at Roaring Camp the first time in operation, it was back in October 29th 2022. A day after my birthday.

My brother and I rode this little train on our way to the Santa Cruz boardwalk in the 1970's.

Great Video! Well Done - Roaring Camp is an awesome place, and you captured all four locos with excellent footage.

I was 7 when my mom took us there. 40+ years ago, and I still remember like it was yesterday. Literally for me, an unforgettable experience.

My old landlord is probably in that battle. We lived just across the river from that wonderful place. I was busy college student and never had much time to visit but brought my used motor oil to them to burn. Brought my child there much, much later.

Wow, that's the first time I've seen all four engines in one video. I really wish they'd bring back the Waipahu at some point so that the roster would be back up to 8 engines once again

I was here with my parents back in October 2002. You had to get off the train and go up to those monster trees to really see they were real. To think when they were maybe a foot tall Our Lord was walking the earth!

@@bdvids7930 So they are going to have in operation along with the Climax.

@@nathancorcoran5347 Yeah the climax is probably gonna take a while longer because it’s probably rusted beyond repair and it’s missing it’s boiler but they do have a replacement but they think it’s too small

I am going to film all 4 of the narrow gauge engines, diesel swicher # 40, and all two of the CF7 Santa Fe diesels.

I have to add that this video didn't show the really BIG trees along the train ride. They do stop along the way at one point so you can get off the train and check out the trees.

Joseph Watts That locomotive you called a Forney is actually a 0-4-2 Plantation. Forney's are 2-4-4's or 0-4-4's and Mason Boogies are 2-6-6's and 0-6-6's.
