    WeCreat Vision Desktop Laser Engraver!
The 2 watt IR laser is the first laser module for the Vision laser machine!
IR laser modules are prefect for metal marking like on jewelry! The IR module is equally at home engraving most plastics and marking acrylics with bold contrast and detail that conventual blue laser machines can't match!

Very good review! I bought a similar laser acmer p3, also a box machine. I like its dual laser, so I can easily customize the airpod and other plastic materials.

    I couldn't switch it out😢

It’s a lot more challenging than what you presented in the video to switch out the modules. If anything can be said about the IR module, it is the most difficult part to change back and forth. I think the engineering replacement for one module and back to the other modules is a pain in the ass. WeCreat should have created a module that had a switch going from IR back to the 20 watts or vice versa. Instead, most users will have a hard time switching out the modules every time they want to work with metal or non-metal materials. WeCreat really failed with this one. May sound crazy, better to have two WeCreat’s, one for IR laser and the other for 20watt. If you get the new IR module, trust me, you’re going to wish having two WeCreat’s wasn’t as crazy as I mentioned. 😎

Thanks for the feedback- I did ask Wecreat if the connector board had to be swapped each time- Yes, yes it does. For me the module swap takes about 10-15 minutes and I would like to see it at 5 minutes or less. I agree with you- not the most convenient module to swap.

@@thelaserchannel1Thanks for the reply. Even spending 10 to 15 minutes can feel like a waste of time, especially when you have to constantly switch back and forth. It's not just about the time consumed; it's also not as easy as people might think. You might eventually get the hang of it, but it's still tedious, involving unscrewing, cutting ties, and then redoing it repeatedly. This suggests that WeCreat is developing products without consumer interaction. If they had involved consumers, this new module would never have gone to market. So, as a new company in the laser business, WeCreat is starting off on the wrong path, which will hurt them in the long run. And don’t think for a moment that WeCreat is popular right now; they’re not. WeCreat distributes many of their lasers to social media influencers (like yourself), making it seem very popular, but it's merely a marketing strategy. 99.9 % of WeCreat owners were sponsored and the average consumers has a low number of ownership, paid by them.
Lastly, before WeCreat focuses on new products, they should address the problem with the focus point, where the laser doesn't always engrave where intended. This issue persists across batch products as well. Regardless of what WeCreat's video content creators demonstrate, engraving isn't consistently accurate from their presentations. This is my second WeCreat, and despite calibration efforts, it's still hit or miss. 😎

@@LouRao I agree and lets not forget we have to take the rotary out when doing other things. and I also saw you can't use the air system, forget its name when using IR. I want this machine but my first issue is trying to get answers from them, they rarely if ever responds to these comments and then to enjoy the different extras, you have to spend a lot of time doing it. It needs to be less time consuming and easier

@@judyromano2229WeCreat now have a contact number for sales and support. However, it is the same person for both sales and support. Plus, there are huge difficulties in communicating due to the foreign language. As for support, it is lacking in so many ways. I know, personally, I have been through a lot of hell. My first unit connected to WiFi but would disconnect within 3 seconds. My router was only 8 ft from the WeCreat. None of my other devices had dropped from the network. Support pointed the finger at me, blaming me for the dropped network. The power brick plug kept falling out back of the unit, and I was blamed for that as well. They claimed I kept moving the unit, which was not true. I had only moved it twice to the final location. Back and forth with the same support guy (Patrick) got me nowhere. I wanted to exchange it, but they don’t do exchanges. I had to return the unit and wait for a refund back to my card, then order another one.
The second unit arrived with an issue where the bottom crumb tray wouldn’t slide in or out. And the camera wasn’t accurate for batching. I was told to tilt the unit upwards to slide the tray in and out. I was also told the camera is only good in the center of the unit; anything outside the center point wouldn’t be accurate. I said this wasn’t acceptable and decided to return the unit again. There is a process to return the WeCreat. You have to save every piece of material and package it exactly the way you received it. Photos must be provided at every step of packaging and emailed to support before they consider a return. Once the return has been accepted, they will email a return label. Once they receive the unit, you have to wait for the return center to provide overseas headquarters with photos and a video of your package. If everything passes, WeCreat will refund you.
From support to returns is just a joke. WeCreat just came out with another unit with a 40-watt module, but they never fixed the issues with the first 20-watt unit. The camera on the 40-watt has a fisheye lens, which will never give you accuracy anywhere outside the primitive center of the unit. You still have to tilt the unit as far back as you can to remove or slide back in the crumb tray. WiFi is still on 2.4 GHz instead of 5.0 GHz.
As a new company, WeCreat is failing due to not listening to their customers. And don’t believe WeCreat is trending on social media; it’s not. WeCreat has given away so many units to content creators, making it look like there are many users out there with their lasers. 95% of the social media groups are sponsored by WeCreat. The whole concept of auto-focusing, having the unit go up and down, should make it stand out from the rest, but until you buy it from your pocket, it is a mess. To survive in this market, WeCreat needs to make a lot of changes, from the support department and presales to improvements on faulty lasers. Otherwise, they won’t last. And they need to stop coming out with other products until they address the problems with the first product.
I decided to purchase the xTool S1 and couldn’t be more pleased with my decision. It’s not perfect, but no laser is. It is by far better than WeCreat in so many ways. Yes, it is expensive, like Apple products, but this is similar in the XTool’s line of products; you get what you pay for in the laser world. The S1 doesn’t have a camera, but the pinpoint system is unbelievably accurate, better than anything I’ve seen before. You don’t need a camera. The S1 is so accurate it will laser on a toothpick at the pinpoint with no hassle anywhere on the honeycomb. Plus, xTool rolled out a new feature for a camera system by using your smartphone and integrating it with their software. Speaking of software, I believe it is far better than WeCreat Vision. WeCreat has so many duplications of images scattered across different categories. Plus, after 6 months of WeCreat Vision you will have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS with XTool’s software -period.
Again, the S1 is pricey but worth it. The way I am purchasing the goods for the S1 is little by little. I don’t have to have the entire kit all at once. I purchased the 40-watt unit and got the riser a few weeks later. I will purchase the rotary at another date and the pass-through too. Yeah, rethink your buying. Listen to non-sponsored users-not many for WeCreat. Depending on what your needs are, decide from there. Trust your gut before making that leap for WeCreat. Who knows better than you before making a purchase decision? 😎

I don't know, this seems very much like an afterthought, especially in implementation. The fragility of swapping out the laser modules seems unnecessarily tedious. They could have easily made a spring loaded clamp bracket for both laser heads and a dual control board. At least they could've made the screws magnetic so you don't keep dropping them. I love wecreat, but this just doesn't seem up to their own innovative benchmarks.

Yes- it would be nice if the electrical connection was a little easier and the small connector board did not have to be replaced. The small connector board for the laser diode then has to be put back in when the IR module is taken out...

Too much work to switch it out.

It would be easier if the connector board didn't need to be switched out and the ribbon cables had larger connectors.
