What was stated however was that goku was taking a gamble on gotenks being stronger than fat buu, something only piccolo was told which is why piccolo was the only cautious one during all of gotenks earlier scenes. The gamble turned out bad at first until they trained in the ROSAT and achieved ssj3. I'm sorry you misinterpreted scenes in the manga and got the incomplete story as a result but this is obviously how the story went. And ssj gotenks cant be stronger than fat buu because it makes no sense for super buu to be far stronger than fat buu. 1+1 can only give you 2 not 3 or 10; Fat buu and super buu have the same composition or the same power constitution i.e they both have kais (that are stated to weaken them)negative influence.

@@plantcrone9662 they don't need to age up all the way. It would have just been free training for them since they would eventually go back to their original ages anyway. It may have made them more prepared to go to the Demon Realm. But it's Dragon Ball, we don't always want them to do the thing that makes things easier do we? We probably like the conflict to last a bit longer right? Lol. So it's for the best. 😅

Honestly, the fact that Dende was kidnapped and Glorio asked for help does make me more annoyed at the whole "turned back into children" thing, it shows that we could have had stakes in this story without compromising Dragon Ball's storytelling for the sake of a marketing gimmick.
But they told you why, if they didn’t turn them to kids they can’t do anything to Goku and cast or they introduce someone stronger than Buu what you wouldn’t like so what then ?

Dragon Ball marketing doesn't work like other series. Cute in DB doesn't equal sales. Cool In DB equals sales. Look at MUI, then look at SSJ Daima Goku and tell me who's more marketable

piccolo is a strange case he was namek who came to earth grew up naturally then split into demon piccolo and kami. the demon piccolo made a clone when he died and that clone merged back with kami so maybe he deaged backed to what the OG namek looked like when he was relative to a 6-7 year old

There is one mistake i believe in dragon ball daima master roshi the younger version why he's bald in original dragon ball we saw young roshi not kud roshi but he had hair he was not bald and old roshi is bald his hairs are gone due to age not because he shaves so why kid roshi got big bald head he looks like kid Saitama more then krillin to me 😅

It’s stated that Gotenks in super saiyan could easily defeat Fat Buu, who was equal to ssj2 goku. Saying ssj3 Gotenks is not stronger than ssj3 goku after a whole two more transformations is a bit silly, especially when Toriyama himself said ssj3 Gotenks is stronger. Why does this matter? Because we know Ultimate Gohan is stronger than Gotenks (as stated in the manga).

And it was never stated anywhere in the manga that gotenks can easily defeat fat buu, youre obviously twisting facts and taking them out of context.
What was stated however was that goku was taking a gamble on gotenks being stronger than fat buu, something only piccolo was told which is why piccolo was the only cautious one during all of gotenks earlier scenes. The gamble turned out bad at first until they trained in the ROSAT and achieved ssj3. I'm sorry you misinterpreted scenes in the manga and got the incomplete story as a result but this is obviously how the story went.
And ssj gotenks cant be stronger than fat buu because it makes no sense for super buu to be far stronger than fat buu. 1+1 can only give you 2 not 3 or 10; Fat buu and super buu have the same composition or the same power constitution i.e they both have kais (that are stated to weaken them)negative influence.
