Why did Vegeta also gain the super saiyan god form? I think that Goku should have been the only saiyan to become the super saiyan god until he dies. I understand they need to be close to equal power for the plot, but I also think they could have made another form for vegeta like an alternative to super saiyan god.

He oversees all the gods and angels… rymus is the creator of multiverse not exactly the supreme Kai.. supreme Kai does similar job but I don’t think just because he created multiverse doesn’t mean he is Kai he is demon… grand priest is an indeed angel..
