It looks so good because it's only a run of 20 episodes, but even from the trailer I could tell we're getting some MAPPA tier animation out of this one.
After seeing this, I'd think you guys should read the story lines of the 3 arcs to DBGT. They had some good ideas, (like Goku being turned into a kid) and a few new gnarly transformations (won't spoil it if you WERE to watch). But it was all around alot of wasted potential. It'll be sweet to see the direction DAIMA will go with this!!!! And as always, WATCH YU YU HAKUSHO EVENTUALLY!!!😁
I LOVE how they made it so the Namekians actually WERE demons, but the ones who came to the mortal realm became benevolent over time. Dabura said he checked Earth 300 years before the Buu Saga... right when Demon King Piccolo was first sealed, which would mean Dabura directly took that throne from Piccolo, and it makes sense that the first place he'd go is Earth. Maybe the Nameless Namekian was from a special bloodline in the Demon Realm, and when Kami split in two, DKP was able to sense his true self. If I'm wrong, I'll just go back to my original headcanon-- that Kami and Piccolo are EARTHS God and Devil, but not the UNIVERSE'S... bc if you were a farmer in the DB world a full 300 years before Goku was born, and some alien 100x stronger than you who could fire energy from his mouth said "I am the Demon King", you'd believe him.
I like how Toriyama is playing with the canon here, the "Potara fusion and Buu enzyme" explanation which was in Z, but got walked back in Super, maybe the Kai's are still just ignorant of how Potara works for mortals and Z's retcon which turned Piccolo's race into aliens back into demons as they were intended to be in the OG series. I think the best way to expand the series is to go back to the end of the Buu Saga rather than add more to say Super or GT because those series bring a lot of baggage with them and we can just enjoy something new instead without all that. So I hope Daima kind of works out like that. Just another timeline for the gang, not necessarily "non-canon", but stand-alone so that future series have different ideas and directions to explore. Basically to have every series work with Dragonball and DBZ, but GT, Super and Daima shouldn't necessarily have to be canon with each other

the reason is toriyama time-skipped 10 years in the final 2 chapters of the manga. Theres no hidden reason, its just if u leave 10 whole years of free writing material it makes it very easy to just fit whatever story u want in there
Why are you watching Daima without watching Dragon Ball Super and the original Dragon Ball? Also English dub of Daima will come out on November. Why couldn't you wait for that? Are you going to react to the english dub as well?
I agree it looks better then Super i think they increase the hudget for this one but hey i think super looked good to please don't say bad about my favourite anime you can say whatever you want about gt i don't mind but please not Super i hope we see this level of animation in Super season 2 let's hope we see season 2 as soon as possible 😅

@@shameronstar7220 But it isn't. DB: Daima is fully canon within the main storyline and seemingly takes place before DBS. It's just Toriyama and his habit of not knowing his own stuff that resulted in him changing the way Kaioshin and Kibito unfused.

The Namekian Dragon Balls grants 3 wishes not 1 . Earth's Dragon Balls was 1 wish but when Dende became the new Guardian, he changed it to 2 wishes . I cant remember when earths Dragon Balls got changed to 3 . Also yall missed where it showed that they said the Namekians had escaped out of the demon realm .
