The part about testing the PSU is really interesting. Trials and errors stuff is so informative for learning.

Do you think you could skip one of the two fuses? Do they both do the same? or are they independent? I want to build this psu

Great video! I am considering building my own case and getting into diy. I am looking at the Erica Synths psu, and also l-1.su/Power.html this I found on wiggler's forum. You said what you made is 2.5 amps, I guess I'm a bit confused on that aspect. Does 'rail' mean row or does it just mean for the 12v output, max is 2.5 amps? If I'm doing 3 rows of 104hp for example, would I need to supply each row with sufficient power, or just make sure total power consumption for 12v is within 2.5 amps? Thanks for the video, loving your channel so far!

The latter is the answer to your second question. As you buy or build new modules (I do both) just keep track of all of the combined modules current draw so that you don't go over two and a half amps (2,500 mA). Depending on what you put in your rack you may or may not need to add an additional psu. If and when that becomes the case then make sure that you attach the new psu to a new power-distribution board (the thing that you attach all of the ribbon-cables to). Separate supplies to separate distribution boards and it's good to connect the ground of both psu's even though they become connected via the ground circuitry in the modules and their attachment to the metal rails to which you attach the face-plate of your modules to. I use an alligator-clip on a jumper wire and connect that to the ground of my psu. Also if you happen to have multiple cases for synth modules you should make a ground post that you can reach externally, probably in the back where you can connect case to case with a jumper wire. Patch cables usually do this job but if you ever get into banana jack setups those cables only use a signal wire.
Also, when he talked about "rails" he meant the latter; being the +12v and the -12v rails. When you build your case don't forget to paint a nice wood-stain onto the wood and put a sealer coating onto the wood as well or the whole thing just won't work at all. I don't make the rules- JK

This is not 12v feed by the look of your coil.
