These are the kind of interviews we need in tournaments. I understand that everyones english skills are'nt as good as EliGes but I still feel like there is so much untapped potential in pre/post game interviews (+media day interviews) for a deeper look into the player and the game if somebody just took the time to write good questions.
Give yourself 5 minutes to think about why we don't get these kinds of interviews in live Tournaments on stages and during media days, and you'll realize it yourself
Brother, you think they should have 1hour plus interviews in tournaments???? (Kassad voice) ARE YOU INSANE??? Players don’t even won’t to partake in current short form media, if you propose 1hour+ interviews absolutely noone will accept, that’s also wasting time they could use practicing with the team
@@joseblua6566 Im not saying they should start a podcast between games. The thing I want replicated is thoughtful and relevant question that are interesting to the subject as well as the viewers. I agnowledge post/pre-game interviews shouldn't require too much mental effort but at least be interesting. If DDK, STYKO or steel was asking the questions you know they would be actually interested in rounds, strats, plays, discipline etc and so the questions would be interesting to the interviewee and the viewers. I'm so tired of constantly having the same 6 questions and the same 6 answers every game of every tournament
DDK you are quite honestly one of the most consistent and enjoyable personalities that've carried forward from the CS career. Your content is awesome and fits a niche that has introduced me to tons of aspects of different ways to improve. Through your channel I've picked up aim training, found a ton of new content producers that I engage with regularly and massively improved my in game performances. Big props to you bud, was always a great cast when we saw DDK on the CS lineup and the quality still shines now afterwards. Hope the effort pays you back tenfold :) Much love from the budding aim community
Wow, this is such a nice comment. Thank you so much for sharing! I'm so happy to hear that the content has resonated so much and I'll do my best to grow this year.
Elige talking about not feeling bad about a wrong call makes me think of that interview with Otmar Szafnauer where he talks about psychological safety "Psychological safety is the belief that individuals will not be punished or humiliated for expressing their ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes within a team. It creates an environment where team members feel secure to take risks and share their thoughts without fear of negative consequences, leading to better collaboration and innovation."
Really enjoyed this video. Thought the questions were great and got the most out of Eliges thoughtful and considered way of looking at the game/psychology in general. Would like to see nothing more than him lifting that trophy in Austin!
Thank you Daniel kapadia for gifting me this chance to hear Elige and his thoughts in an interview keep the good work and this deserves more attention more views ! I am Bulgarian not American so i don't understand the US support but i got into watching cs go esports back in 2019 and liquid was the team that made me fall in love with all the other teams and also was the team that i supported until they slowly lost all the players i like fast forward to when karrigan joins faze became my new team cause i was struggling to find team that i like players and want to support and the ones i found kept changing and when so elige joining faze is dream come true just hope it does not flop i pray to the gods something very personal is the reason i started watching cs go was absolutely random but at the time i was recovering from severe anxiety and depression from worrying about things i can't control at point i thought i had mental disability because i couldn't find interest in anything and that game really took my mind of and made me feel like myself so i am very deeply grateful to all cs esports not really good at making sentences sorry
@@ddkesports i just always enjoy player perspective and insight. Also Elige is one of my favorite players. He also convinced me to finally watch blue lock season 2 lol
donk tradecraft fun fact: He's so aware of his effect on meta that he won several clutches at Shanghai by playing to counter his own previous or "stale" micro and protocols. Like he pwned Broky during the Ancient clutch by putting his crosshair where the head would be on his own crouch drop peek in that type of ang. Something donk himself no longer does since August 2024 but Broky picked up after Kato.
i think every players from top 20 teams is working 10% or more on aim and studying donk's micro moves, the fact at this age his cognitive abilities are so ahead of what it should be is mindfuging, he recognises the meta he is affecting and changing, lord have mercy i never would have thought in a major grandfinal decider map some 17yo kid would rush mid on ct , disrespecting his way to finding fazes bluff and instantly punishing them going suicide just w holding. unfugging real, this kid is just arriving and changing t side meta i cant majin what happens if they get kyousuke , the t side meta when looked at 5 years from now is going to be a bazillion % different and redifined imo . cs is in a great place
Heads up DDK, for me at least, UA-cam's video duration text covers the bottom right of the thumbnail and so hides ELiGE's name. If I hadn't noticed he video was over an hour long, I would have thought this was just a news video and not an interview. Thumbnail might be costing you a few views! Looking forward to this watching this interview now!
Similar reason as to why twistzz left liquid for faze. He felt less of a chance to win trophies in pure NA rosters. New NRG with addition of Br0 looking pretty solid so far. They may want to consider getting another EU players and build there way up to possibly considering moving to EU.

but then how will i know about feels and vibes?
@juanme555 If I ever forget that winning feels good and losing feels bad I'll rewatch a Banks interview

W video 🔥
Elige needs to continue to use his voice in media. He is a smart guy who speaks well, he should become a major voice in the scene.
It's no question he'll get scooped as an analyst as soon as he gets time off being a player

Nah man, look where Szafnauer ended up. He let go of Alonso + Piastri, got kicked from Alpine and now has become completely irrelevant
@@gane5hateam became bad when he left. He had nothing to do with Oscar’s contract situation. DTS fan

Such a good and interesting interview, both you and Elige are so articulate and so pleasant to listen to and learn from, good job man!!!

I have no idea how your content has evaded me for so long. Great interview, ez sub
