Another great video. We camped at Sandy Cape a few weeks ago and went to Stockyard Gully and Lake Indoon. Stockyard Gully was something else. Apparently they used to put cattle through the caves.
Awesome video and in my backyard. I live in Moore River and work in Lancelin. Spewen WA didn't put on a show of great WA weather, just the wrong time of year. I can't wait to follow your adventures, specially travelling with kids. One Life, One Search, Shane
Great vids, am enjoying them. Re your DCDC question, its a no brainer....just fit one ....but I assume your wanting to keep your camper batteries peaked up. I have been installing Renogy units, few sizes to pick from, and available off Ebay, but install it AS CLOSE to the camper battery/s as you can, and MUST have decent size cable feed all the way from the start battery..Will keep battery charged no problem. Models available that have MPPT charger included as well, but also many other manufacturers out there and dont get over zealous with a 60amp or 70amp unit. A 30amp unit will bring your general discharged 100aH AGM up to Float condition after just a couple of hours driving...
Went from the idc25 dcdc charger but have now gone to the enerdrive dcdc40+ on our old patrol, work on any type of battery. Now changed to lithium and couldn't be happier with the capacity capability and charges so fast👌all the best. Offroad living sorted it all out for us in WA 👍
Bcdc charger you can not go wrong. I am looking at redarc. There building conformal coating line. Printed circuit protection. Check out Robert pepper. Great tips. And lock your hubs.
If you’re running deep cycle/agm batteries mate you will benefit hugely from a DCDC charger. I highly recommend you bite the the bullet and grab one. I had the Projecta unit in my GQ and the same unit is in my GU. I won’t live without one.
Mate DC to DC charger. Google , Intervolt - In-Vehicle DCC Pro (R2-0), I have exactly the same rig as you 92 Ford Maverick TD42 after market turbo I’ve had the Intervolt unit for at least 4 years absolutely brilliant ,this latest version the R2- 0 is lithium compatibility. The unit is absolutely easy to set up and configure no matter what type of battery you have. Love the vids guys keep up the great work.
Another great video. I have a Redarc BCDC 25 under the bonnet and it’s been great for the aux battery. Have all Victron gear, MPPT solar and DC-DC with 240ah of lithium in the Breakaway.
Great episode again. DCDC is the way to go in your camper. Plenty of options. Im currently using Projecta without much issue, but there are some other great units out there.Just UA-cam DCDC Charger and find some real reviews. Great to see you get some sun and a spectacular sunset in the end! Catch you next vid.
John McK47 diesel heater man. There nothing he does not know about them. Thank for your video's there great. I am building a off road square back camper. Tip on my old van. Heater fuel line is in a pipe. I pull it out, I fit the fuel filter and pick up pipe. The put in jerry. The jerry I use for spare fuel if needed
I use victron DC to DC charger. Mine is a 12 volt 18 amps. You can get 40 amp model if required. It will work fine with your car no need for relays or switches. It senses when your car battery is charged then turns on and charges other batteries. Make sure you purchase the smart model as you can set up and monitor via Bluetooth on your phone.
I've been thinking about you guys while watching the weather reports on TV and seeing all those storm fronts hit WA. Glad you haven't been blown away yet. Loved the Pinnacles and the cave. Very cool. 😎
Terrific fun guy! That cave walk is rather scary with it becoming narrower, your all legends for giving it a go! Love how you’re finding the off the Beaten track free camps! Great to see all the fun and relieved you precious ones’ didn’t end up having nasty injuries too, rather that the hatch received the worst 😉🤗💫🐨
Loving the videos stay safe

Did you see all the bee hives at the cave entry? It's a really unique experience and I'm so glad we did it 👍
@@GoingOverland yes we did.

DC to DC charger will work on old school alternator just fine. They're a must for keeping Deep Cycle AGM batteries fully charged.

Adam me thinks that some diff locks and lower pressures might be helpful for sand play, but I’m loving your adventures.

If you watch Robert pepper beach recovery. He explain vechicle weight on angle and drive systems. You see him do 90 degrees.
Hey guys watched your vids did u have co_ords for each camping at nobby Heads
-29.669140°, 114.960229° straight from wikicamps. Hopefully this helps

If you want something cheap for the dcdc charger run a projecta idc25
Had one in my old GU for the last 4 years and it’s been awesome
I will start doing some video on some projector equipment soon,
Intervolt also performing well,
