that person is talking about "reconnaissence" units. They're the units that you use to scout out your enemy. They have vision range that's usually more than other units and have a mobility that goes further than other land units. Because their good vision-mobility ratio, they make great scouting units during fog war^^

hmm, true, however, I don't really like to choose mechs unless I want to go REAL cheap with the units I purchase. Its usually the recons or infantry and tanks I usually choose at the start. Mechs, most likely I'm gonna just purchase the APC units first and use them to transport the mechs to the cities (to capture and capitalise)

You know, I'm sad that this series has been dead for some time now. But atleast it had it's own space in Smash Bros. I would definitely love to go back to these. Maybe some sort of prequel before Days of Ruin? That way even the characters from that game could appear in it. Ahhh.. if only.

Don't underestimate Andy, his units have no weaknesses at all, and his CO power Hyper Upgrade is very strong especially to units without weaknesses. He is by far the most talented, if not most energetic CO in the group, like him better than Colin too. He should have been in Dual Strike as a regular character, not only in hard mode, because he would have sent Black Hole packing like in the last game XD two.
Well Mechs are versatile troops,but they always need to attack first. In fact, a Mech rush is always an effective strategy,especially when you use infantry-focues COs like Sensei or Sami
I'm familiar with that strategy. However I didn't bother to mention it because its blatantly obvious. Yeah, tanks are better to use when it comes to dealing with mechs (considering mechs a designed to destroy something that's a bit harder than flesh and bone)
