Magician here. So refreshing to see a clear, no-nonsense tutorial with no waffle and no over-explaining. Those who don't have the patience to rewatch or slow the vid down, won't have the patience to perfect the move, anyway, so why force those serious about learning to wade through 30 mins of tedium? Good work, sir!
That was splendid! A very professionally done video. No extra chatter, simple explanations, great camera work. Nicely done. Can't wait to learn them. Liked and subscribed.
Hello Mister Taputoro, ich ben absolut begeister wie Detail Genau Sie die einzelnen Schritte erklären und zeigen !! Leider bin ich erst vor kurzem auf Sie aufmerksam geworden ! RESPEKT ! Vielen Dank dafür .
I love your presentation of the riffle shuffle. I like my shuffles looking messy and out of control. It adds to the ‘miracle’ of tricks I perform. I’m going to add your finishing touch to the riffle as it really screams ‘he has no idea what he is doing’.
Young man; THANK YOU for being s straight forward, and not wasting time in a lot of extraneous side chatter about "how this might be done in a different way", or "how a famous magician used to do this", or "you might wish to do this in another way"... Videos of that sort are not informative, drag on for far too long, give way too much information that does not matter to the mechanics of the trick, and are of absolutely no value to the performance one way or the other of the man or woman who wishes to perform the "miracle". You, my dear young man, are an excellent instructor, and fine teacher. Keep it up, sir. You're a true treasure on this forum known as UA-cam.
Wow just seen this video for the first time and I'd been really struggling with false cuts and shuffles. This has really helped. Thank you Steve. Awesome as always!
I've been working really hard on a couple of routines over the last year & am now ready to add a few new flourishes - [new to & for me anyway] - & additional controls for mixing it up & these are perfect good sir. Until now I had never seen a false riffle shuffle that I like but your tutorial has remedied that nicely. Also as everybody else has said I love your no nonsense style of tutorial. Many thanks good sir.
That first false cut is nice 😂 So anyway, I'm always on the lookout for a convincing, false, in-the-hand bridge or overhand shuffle. The more clandestine, the better.
For anyone watching who may be a beginner, these are magician moves. These will fool people who do not ever handle cards. This will not fool magicians or gamblers. These techniques as they were performed are not meant to accurately imitate a real shuffle or cut, only to “pretend”.
The false riffle is like the false vice shuffle by daniel madison but tabled and yes i prefer that compared to the zarrow as well because the zarrow shuffle needs faster handling and i think daniel also has a tutorial that’s better than the zarrow shuffle named the “Shade Shuffle” and i believe he uploaded it on this same day lowl
Jaymex 2018 Yeah Madison’s shuffle has its charm and also way better than Zarrow. What I like about Steve’s presentation is that added messiness to the riffle. Kind of like how Madison wants to appear clumsy with card handling as well.
Hlo steve. I want to ask that is their a relationship b/w going to gym and shortening the length of hands which affect card handling due to exercise(Its a weird one). But I could not figure it out as i want to do both!?
The first one ain’t working for me at all Edit legit about 40 seconds later: turns out I was doing the ending wrong when I accidentally just grabbed the bottom and not the bottom two
Hey Woody. I am actually excited to see what cartamundi do with it. Surely it can only enhance the industry quality. As long as they don't compromise the quality I'm all for it!
I just have to ask, credit for what? Do carpenters tell everyone who invented the hammer before they show their house? These are not tricks, they're tools.
What's Cracking! I hope you enjoy this tutorial on false shuffles. Thanks again for the support you guys show!
Ethan Newnham Hey Ethan. No unfortunately I won't be going. Hopefully next year!
Ethan Newnham definitely Ethan! Hopefully one day soon.

Don't take me wrong but when he is doing all the shuffle and cuts perfect but this one a mess will it bring suspension to audience
This is the BEST false cut tutorial I have seen on UA-cam & I’ve seen a bunch! Thanks!
Absolutely informative and enjoyable with a refreshing personality! You have my vote!
At last, a clear, no-nonsense tutorial… so rare, thank you so much for that!
This false shuffle is great, it has already become my very favorite one.

Awesome video! 🔥♣️❤️♠️♦️
You are awesome
Hello who crated the first shuffle?
Amazing thank you buddy.
You make the book "the expert at the card table" useless!
The process of fast learning with video and audio is unreal
AMAZING!
Dude you re amazing, these cuts are really easy and a little bit fancy too. Nice camera angles, btw😄
👊🏼 cheers mate
The last shuffle was a Zarrow.
Just don't do this in front of people in slow motion.
👌🏻👏🏻
Where r u from Steve? U have a different accent. Not very American?
From New Zealand :)
awh hell yeah!
The first one ain’t working for me at all

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Steves. What is your opinion about cartamundi buying the USPC?
Hey Woody. I am actually excited to see what cartamundi do with it. Surely it can only enhance the industry quality. As long as they don't compromise the quality I'm all for it!
All this cuts and shuffles have a name and an author. I think it's better if you give credit.
I think it's better to learn the trick not a historian.
I just have to ask, credit for what? Do carpenters tell everyone who invented the hammer before they show their house?
These are not tricks, they're tools.
