I know another great singer who once met that man and he also did not take his words for granted, but stole his song and drank his beer
True legend there
Question for the world of music heads... Why isnt this on the damn radio lol? Instead we hear shit on the radio. Come on yall. Spread the word !
You are one of the most overlooked artists of our time. Keep banging em out Mr Cobb!
fact, but here's one who's woken to that truth since you said that.
@@wjamyers Could you elaborate please?
@@kylebaker8020 "here's one" means me, I'm just saying that 2 years ago I didn't know Mr. Cobb existed and now, thanks to playing with @brennanedwards1298, I study and learn his songs and revere his art and his message, praise god!
Mad about it I still need a radio station
I've heard singers play what sells or what people "want to hear". But man, you give people what they don't even know they wanted
Holy moly😂😂😂😂! That was beautiful! Lol
Don't shut up but sure as Hell keep on singing.
Brent’s such an amazing song writer, everybody needs to hear his music 🤠
Most underrated musician on the planet. Everybody I show his music is blown away
Yes!!
Brent u should play ur songs through a rubin's tube!
Good for you Brett not to be silenced, your songwriting is incredible.. like kristofferson and Dylan level. Hit some places up north of Pittsburgh. Would like to catch a show.
Good Lord Almighty. This is sensational
Thank God but there's people like this making the music that they do and carrying the flag for the old school and traditional American music absolutely f****** beautiful so eloquent so country
Damn straight.
I’m so glad Facebook randomly suggested Brent Cobb to me. I’d love to see the music you’d make with some Grateful Dead family.
It was Sturgill that brought me here I can't believe I'm only finding out about him now I'm a real country music fanatic and I don't know why I've never come across this. It is incredible
And that's a damn crying shame.
Magnificent!
Grande fratello
... I love the Wailing on the breaks. Maybe it comes from wounded military veterans beside the river, deprived of plant medicine that would ease their terrible suffering. And the rest of us, too.
You got a fan just heard this song on a ad on UA-cam. Normally skip ads but this songs great keep singing brother!
Perfect Mr. Cobb. VOTE!
Thank You
That's the truth
GREAT song!
Brent your words are good. Keep pushing. Thanks and God bless.

By far my favorite artist!!!! Please come play in Wisconsin
Thanks Brent. I got to see you in Missoula last fall and it was one the most memorable shows of the year and hands down best country show i''ve ever been to.
Stand up guy & over looked artist👌🏼
Soul of the photo of Woody Guthrie with this guitar this machine kills fascists. What a fucken perfect song So simplistic three chords that's all that is this is a treasure

Brilliant! Love it.
Questions of life can be such a puzzle, much of it a riddle, can be such a riddle/
stuck in a rut, like a stick in the mud, on the Left, the Right, the up and the upside down, like most things in life, the Truth is found,

This is great all around! Nice job.
Nice
... :-)... I love your Ode to Billy Joe chord
Nice Tune!😊
... Everything is a double edged sword. So you can either shut up and sing, or else keep singing and not shut up.... :-)... :-)... :-)...
... another sweet and substantive song like this is f*** all the perfect people, by Chip Taylor.
Who said we can't hummm....
Unless you lost your ability to use you voice. Nope not aloud too! Hehehe
UA-cam tried hard to silence this one
👍👍👍
I’m so shallow I don’t get it! I gotta think Brent is pretty conservative but I can’t tell and I think if I asked him “what did you mean by this or that lyric” he’d say “what do you think I meant?” No one I’d rather sit down and have a beer or coffee with.
he is not conservative 🙄
Nothing at all conservative about this song lmao
Lmaooo how is this conservative??
How's it not? I think people get the wrong impressions about what being conservative, or liberal is. People these days think it's a fashion statement. I think this video is neither conservative or liberal. It's basically saying for you to take the blinders off your eyes and pull the cotton from your ears, because our government (left or right) detracts us from what's really going on. They're all corrupt and are in it to line their own pockets and everyone needs to wake up. That's what this song means. Definitely not liberal or conservative. You don't have to designate everything to a certain political party. That's exactly what our government has done to people. Divide. Conquer.
@@samanthab7876 Are you sure about that? Are you missing the message about what our not so friendly cancel culture is doing or are you just looking at pictures? Have you actually met him and had a conversation with him about any personal values that could determine whether he is conservative or liberal? I have, so I'm sure you don't know what you're talking about. I found him to be a conservative leaning independent. So, I'll hop off my soapbox now.
😂😂
I'm sure this influenced Tyler to do what he did
... Hard-working people need to stop being victimized by unjust marijuana laws.
Brent's one of the best out there. I never have missed a show when he's in my town. Please don't get to political and pander to an audience who really don't like you. I love the song, the video is somewhat bias to the demographics of your audience. Just my opinion.
So social justice supporters are his audience or not? Your comment contradicts itself.
@@JP-ef7ct Not in my experience. I know every song Brent's written and that's not the case. He attracts a rural country/rock audience, who wants nothing to do with "social justice" (whatever that means). We really just want a good Southern, hoalsom song, like his first two albums. On the surface shut up and sing and the lyrics don't support the video to me. I could be wrong though. Just seems like he's supporting the destruction of White culture and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, just watching the video.
@@rebelwithacause3574 sorry bro he's the modern day hippie. that's why you get those 70's vibes.
@@jeremyschoenitz955
You could be right. But he's supportive of the Confederacy. I have talked to him a few times and he might be moderate but not in the terms of anti White. At one show I was wearing a Robert E Lee shirt and he complimented me on the shirt and was, as always, nice and considerate, signed my concert poster and we drank a beer. He's hardly a moderate IMO. If you listen to his first couple albums how could you draw that conclusion? It just seems to me he's caving to the destructive culture of modern day America?
@@rebelwithacause3574 no it's just part of being a great man, grows as time goes on.At the same time his older songs still have that more laid back vibe you'd associate with hippies, even if they are talking about southern idealism.
