The only thing pissin' me off here, is that it took me three weeks to find this song. Old time N.Y.C. rock & roller gonna learn this river maker right here and now.

His cousin is David Cobb (music producer. Produced the great “Southeastern” album by Jason Isbell as well as other Isbell albums etc…) David and his buddy Shooter Jennings invited Brent out to record around like 16 years old. Bryan may have heard Brent Cobb’s music from being in Nashville or David/Jennings, and helped him get more spotlight but Brent is a great singer/songwriter. Would’ve found his way eventually. But yes, as a fellow Georgian I’m super proud of this dude.

My family business was snatched out from under me 3 years ago by my fathers stepmother and her daughters. For the legacy of my family and the promise of getting back exactly what I put it, I sold my youth incredibly cheap one 80hr week at a time while destroying my body in the process. It was my duty to work my family business with pride and discipline no matter what and after over 18 years just like that, it was gone. To make things even more intense, during that time I was in a wheelchair with a partially collapsed nerve canal in my lower spine. Fast foreward to now, I quit a time dissolving and underpaying job 3 days ago on my 34th birthday for a job that will pay double. That job will be me going to work part time for the new owners of my old family business to get it back on track. I guess I'm the only one that knows how to run that old place...wish me luck.
