People power sometimes bring down corrupt Government but sometimes it does not work. Just recently in Venezuela it did not. It worked in Poland long time ago and in the Philippines during the Martial Law regime but it still needed help from some outside pressure. The People must be constantly vigilant and must choose and elect good and patriotic leaders, and shun corrupt politicians. In Communist Countries where leaders are not elected and true information are not always available, then it is hard situation. Then the Military plays an important part.

Totalitarianism in all of its forms is a despicable form of illegitimate government. The only legitimate form of government is a democracy or a duly elected representative government of, by, and for its people. In some cases, a constitutional monarchy is acceptable, as long as the monarch is only figurehead or has very limited power and the rest of the government is duly elected of, by, and for its people.

Here is some truth, If the CCP of China actually turned everything around and supported their youth instead of dictating their population with a hammer they would be unstoppable as a nation. If they let the youth enjoy life or everyone that is a citizen of China for that matter actually enjoy life and embrace them, they would earn their trust, their loyalty, their respect and love. China with 1.4 billion people would be the worlds top nation and would be an inspiration for the rest of the world. You cannot rule people with a hammer, you cannot take away freedoms, you cannot force people to over work, trying to run a nation like a bee-hive, or an ant colony may work in the animal/insect kingdom but not for humanity. Ruling with an iron fist never lasts for long but if you turned it around it would last for millenniums. Why would anyone want to leave and not feel proud if life was good and people had their freedoms. I pray all nations would think like that, stop dictating, stop controlling and support and embrace and the sky would be the limit.

NON VIOLENT- NON COOPERATION was one of the most useful tactic that Indian people, led by Mahtma Gandhi, used in the 1930s against the British. Well done the chinises youth.
Now, the rest of the world should use another tactic against China that Mahatma Gandhi used against the British. People across the world should just stop buying goods made in China.
Indian people did this too in the 1990s and stopped buying textiles made in Britain. And brought Manchester to it's knees. We had bonfires of cloth made in the UK.
A 1% drop in exports from China will wake up the CCP.

She told me not long before she passed away that many in Hong Kong now look back at the colonial era rule with equal amounts of nostalgia and even envy as Hong Kong is now a claustrophobic soulless mess. This is why educating youth on home design and home building and gardening is so important. Most people can maintain a certain sense of self simply by eating nutritious food, achieving the growing agricultural system as a sense of pride. And living in a really home. The materialistic items and cost are naturally reduced. I've developed a hybrid system for doing so, including an innovative advanced home design/homestead. I appreciate any and all support. 100

Its similar to the Hippie generation in the West in the 60's when young people were disgusted with the establishment and their government policy including war in Vietnam. .

Perhaps, but where are those hippies now and just how much effect did they have back then on the government? I don't see particularly much change from then since, oh I don't know, the war in Afghanistan

Everything you said also applies to American youth. They are not seeing much hope in the future. Watching their parents get totally screwed over. What’s the point?

Two different cultures… two different sets of cultural values…. And two completely different cultural histories. Arguing the long history of youth rebellion in the west is just like the very recent youth rebellion in China is like saying that an apple is an orange because they both come from trees. You’re painting with a broad brush and making a false equivalence here. I hope you reevaluate that opinion.

Because of the cost of living in china. Private tutoring was attacked because of the prices being charged. Why a private tutoring company would float on the stock market is beyond me. When you float on stock market. It then all becomes about paying investors. IE dividends. As well as housing market.
You can grow to big, and when that happens your costs will go up.
It's the same in the UK private child care is very high.
Easy solution to that is one parent stays at home to look after the kids. For at least until the kids start school.
