Greta video. About to install Dakota on my 65 chevelle. Just to be clear, if i just plug and play…i will bypass my original blinkers from working and the blinkers will be with the new gauges. Your wiring “keeps” the blinkers in the original location and uses a led that must be built in? Probably a stupid question but I’m a total newbie here thank you.

Thanks so much for watching! We are all learning, so hopefully this helps you out. I used all the factory 84’ components for the blinkers except the blinkers indicators, they came with the gauge cluster I bought from Dakota Digital! Hope this helps!

This may be a dumb question but I’m learning as I go and I don’t know anything lol. I’m restoring a 1987 Chevy c10. I bought the Dakota digital, if I use the control box for my blinkers do I put both the wires into the same spot indicated on the control box?

That’s an unusual question for sure… let me check my paper work, but I would think they would have each a specific port.
Edit: I checked my paper work and it does have a port labeled (left or right) for the blinking indicators built into the gauges. It should just simply put the left to left and right to right
