I am new to yucca, but I love it. Regarding the middle stem. Is it really that hard to remove them before cooking? I will find out tonight because I am cooking some up!
Tonight was the second time, I didn't remove the stem last time, I must have eaten it...lol - So I boiled them this time, and let them cool down over night, I then fried half of them in avacado oil this morning until crispy. They're still dry as heck in the middle. I think I will be making a dough like you did with the other half of boiled pieces I have left. Wish me luck!
There are in which you’ll end up with bag of yuca that isn’t the best, normally yuca is boiled and eaten that same day, if have them the next day you’ll need to place in a pan add a little bit of water and simmer until they are heated through or you can pop them in microwave… however Fried yuca are normally eaten immediately or they get extremely hard and dry Thank you for your feedback and I hope this helps Checkout my video on making Bollitos de yuca
