I'm going thru your vid history... and better understand many things. Dec 2018, met Troy in your new vid. There are several of these presets inside an Eventide. '893 Undulator' is the one that modulates the speed according to attack. 'Undulate' is a lot like this, but I've never mixed it this heavy. Mostly I run the Eventides parallel, so there is always a dry signal, but if you go 100% wet... and now that I am familiar with Back To Zero, I see what you have done, and understand better about what I hear on that release. Thanks man!

Leon Todd thanks man, and what a great clip! I am using a dual recto, taking the line out into the H9 and a TC Vintage Echo X4 into an Ampeg 50 watt combo (set super clean) as a wet/dry setup. So far, it's been great fun! I may need a 3rd amp to utilize a wider stereo spread😛 Cheers, Tom
The liquid chorus on the Travers tune is so sweet. Always hard to find a chorus I like. I dont have a preset. * liquid chorus, maybe it's the Liquid sweetener* in the chorus algorithm block and you just edited it? Or am I missing something. Sounds soooooo good!!

@@LeonTodd Theres not a lot of videos of how to run it. Would be a good idea for a video. I have noticed a lot of people run it with with a pedal in front of it. My experience is these multi efects sound better in front, or its easier to sound better in front if you dont need or want to use amps drive. Not sure why other than the lops arebt great sometimes

I have 4 ext switches controlling different modifiers by preset .. looper on some, momentary Flanger ins and outs, X/Y amp switching... thanks for discussing the topic. I added all flexibility that for $50usd in a couple switch pedals and some TRS cables.. real awesome
Wyzyguy Wyzyguy when you start seeing the Fractal as a sonic laboratory like that, the possibilities really get outrageous. As you said, a small investment in some switches can take you from good to great in next to no time.

The intro track on BTZ is loads of undulate and shimmer from the H9. Seriously inspiring effects!

Awesome rig! I used to run a DSL and a recto together with a h9 in the DSL loop and it was incredible

Yep, in the AX8 loop; mono in to the H9, stereo out of the H9
Is it better to run in front of amp with a a distortion pedal when needed or in loop? Ive read about issues runnung it in the loop
Haven't had an issue running it in either setting. You can adjust the I/O levels to suit either.
