Hope you enjoyed the video! Here's a question for YOU now.. What do you think the duelist changes are gonna be? Do you think it will flip the current meta?..
Idk i don't play duelist but maby some buffs , also i'm sorry for that but i feel strangely seeing a guide to agent that you have mastered even more well.
With how dry the valorant content scene is, im so glad there are content creators like you who make actual creative and original videos. Keep it up man.
@@NovaaTheGreat he isnt funny, hes editing style is the same as any valorant youtuber i honestly cant tell the difference between him and any other youtuber
Tip from an iso main, when u use an ult on an enemy, stay in the middle in the first 2 - 5 seconds of starting the ult cuz u wanna wait for the enemy to walk out from that one wall. If the enemy doesnt walk or, just walk behind one of the 2 walls u have on ur side and pre aim at the middle, This will greatly increase the chances of u winning the 1v1. Though, If u dont hit the headshot, just reposition urself and try to get the hit
Smth you can use as a mixup but generally you want to knife out and immediately go up close to one wall, peeking out right before they drop. Makes them have to choose between 3 angles, and you need to peek just one, unless they swing super wide in which case you will hear it.
it won't work all the time sometime the enemy just preaim in the middle first and peek and if you just standing there you dead some enemy just wide swing and some enemy walk out quietly it is just a aim duel after all who ever kill first win
i prefer just picking one side and getting as close to it as possible. then wide swinging when it drops. basically guarantees insane peekers advantage.
i used to main iso and it's ult is heavily team supportive you can just pick up viper from her pit like a baby from its cradle, or pickup a flying raze who's boutta drop a whole ass nuke on ur team, and more
Iso main here! From my experience, Iso is a very specific use case. He excels on certain maps and falls flat on others. The maps that I find he works best on in order is Breeze, Ascent, Split, and Lotus. This is because his Contingency is useful for pushing the narrow angles on these maps' sites, the same goes for Undercut. Iso's ult can be useful for only a few situations: getting an early pick, stopping and enemy from using ult, eliminating an op or odin, and clutching a round where it's a 1v1 situation. The problem lies with the ult itself. It's actually a disadvantage for Iso to have two walls because all the enemy has to do is wide swing and close the angle between him and Iso. The best tip I can give for winning Iso ult is to immediately hug a wall after you have entered and listen for audio cues. If you can pinpoint where the enemy went, you use crosshair placement to pre-aim and win the fight. If you choose to learn Iso, I recommend understanding other agents beforehand as I find myself picking Iso under certain circumstances in ranked. I hope this helps! :)
He is incredible on Bind and soon to be Haven. Whenever his wall is not so useful, it can still give a window for teammates to run from corners they were otherwise trapped in. Wanna W key a Cypher site? Wall in. Need space? Wall in. Being hit by a friendly vulnerable is the same as being hit by a friendly Breach stun or Omen blind so idgaf when I hit a teammate as long as I've communicated the plan. Kill Contract is a direct sentinel/Viper counter. It's a nice post-plant tool as well. If you miss, then the whole area is clear, if you communicate it well and you lose the 1v1, hopefully the team is out to catch the body. He gets far too much hate. "Imagine dying in your ult" Yeah, imagine if Viper, KAY/O, Killjoy or anyone with an ultimate with a similar premise died in/with it. He's not good solo duelist, but with Raze being so popular, he's good to pair with.
I like using ISO’s ult to target the agent planting the bomb. Buys your team a good amount of time to reposition or leave the enemy confused and without bomb.
As a Kay/o player, Iso is an agent that should be paired with him IMO. In attack, If we both have ults, I could ult entry a site and iso can wall us together and pair that wall with a flash since the wall can be used for flashes. I can be a bodybag for him since I can be res-d and giving him a free orb armor. For retake, I can provode knife cover and his ult is useful for like defuses.
as an iso main mainly for his looks im glad that people are finally understanding that iso should be played with a damage dealing agent along side him. like raze nades , sova ult, even gekkos mosh
All bad agents are fun to play as. Yoru on release was TERRIBLE but he was the most fun agent in the game. I actually miss his old footsteps. They were so bad that they were so good
I legit watched three of this guy’s videos without a sub, because I genuinely thought that there was no way I wasn’t subbed already, with this quality of content
iso is the second one i unlocked as a beginner just bc i like his character design and it was after many months that i learned iso has a few pick rates. i also got disheartened to use his ult and almost not using it bc i always lose in there. but calm aim helped me to get use to him just like his character is, " breathe, then commit." thankyou for this vid, ki thought i already learned the things to maximize his abilities, turns out there's still alot. this one right here is a good support idea. 7:16 . anyway, your content is very promising, trying those underrated agents and it was pretty entertaining. keep it up!
No joke I am enjoying your content waay too much and also thank you for sheding light on agents that aren't looked at too much. Can't wait for you to go big
I legitimately love this video. It's so casual and laid back compared to most other valorant content. And as someone who just came back to the game in a year, I can kinda relate in a weird way lol. Keep doing you man 👍
As an Iso main since his release I BARELY see any Iso players other than the select few. So its nice to see this video around after seeing you make a video abt my former main (astra) lmao keep going man
before the video even starts i just want to say thanks for making this in the first place, i love your other videos and i really want to learn iso ok yippee edit after watching: you did rly reflect everything i've heard so far. i suck at duelist and i mostly go for initiator/controller since i like getting and preventing information. so with iso i see him as a pseudo-initiator like you said. my issue with val so far since i'm still new is that im not really aggressive and i need to focus on aim. so i really think iso would make a solid duelist for me to kind of tech me to be more precise with things. plus i just think he's cool :') i definitely wanna keep trying with him since the only other duelist i really have my eyes on learning rn is neon, who can definitely help with my aggression. i know he's definitely weaker than other duelists but unless i'm playing as a secondary duelist, i probably won't pick him more often than my fade, gekko, clove, brim. great video again, thanks for giving my boy a shot!
I've been looking at all ur agent videos and I really thought you had more subscribers. Your content is so smooth bro keep it up! Big love from France 🇫🇷
I can relate to a lot in this video, as I have only just picked up iso, and could never really play duelists. Honestly, the only thing that is different between our iso gameplay is that I always win the ultimate and never win normal gun fights 🤣
You’re a great content creator and I’m addicted to these videos hahaha if you’re taking requests for videos, I’d love to hear your thoughts on which agents you think should get a nerf or a buff and why! Keep up the great work 🥳
I was absolutely ecstatic to see my comment and know that it helped you, even a little bit. A lot of the valorant youtube scene is just montages and "Bronze to X Rank" so I'm absolutely in love with what you do. I really love being able to see agents I basically never see. Even if you do shift from this current formula I'm sure it'll still be something absolutely worth watching, cheers and much love!
The thing with Iso’s Ult is its very easy to let the stress of the 1v1 get to you. Think of it that anxiety and stress that comes from in a regular 1v1, where you worry about not head tapping and dying. It’s the same with Iso’s Ult, just with flashy effects.
Tip For Iso Ult on both sides. Walls Block Bullets but you can just walk through them. Can win alot of duels just on shock factor. Also use Ult on Enemy Eco Rounds , Jett , Chamber or Viper when Ulting ( Stops their Ults) and use the Ult when already on low health to play your life better :)
i think if he gets buffed he would be really great at stopping op dominance, which tends to run games at a pro and casual level at times. his moving shield alone, if buffed, could just completely negate an op
Hey, Iso user here ( and before I'm jett W user ). Iso is probably one of the duelist that work so good in narrow gunfight like haven, split or lotus. Not only the wall contributes so high, also a big chance you catch someone with your ult just with your game sense logic. Create your own 50:50 by running then shift with knife! make sure you didn't make any sound then pull your guns out and take angles simple like slicing a pie ( I also recommend take more angles too since the enemy won't take the most further left or right because that will make a loud sound ).
Oh, also funny tips : - you have a lot advantage using undercut + high pen weapon in ascent and lotus, even better ur recon initiator knows the timing or get the info
recently started using iso, after a couple of weeks, now he's kinda my main 😅 so fun, aside from contingency being able to isolate fights, it has also saved my teammates multiple times when teams rush in
i feel like one thing they could do to make iso a little stronger is the ability to stop the barricade's movement at any point by tapping the button again. the barricade is great but it provides less utility when it's always moving forward
Personally i loved iso more than i thought i would. The three agents i play most rn on console are yoru, omen, and chamber. I especially loved chamber bc having the equivalent of a long range sheriff at the start of the first round made econ management so efficient to the point i could buy a vandal/phantom for more rounds even if we were losing. The only character i ever struggled with was Iso simply bc of his self sheild. I planned to get him when i first got into the beta but a friend snached him up as his own main before i could so i got viper and yoru. Came back about a week ago to find him on deadlock so tried out iso on a new account since i could use the free agent token to try him out for a few swiftplay games before i fully decided and i absolutely loved him. I was on icebox on defense with a vandal in like the 4th or so round. Was on A but no one there so on my way back to mid/B i saw sage, ontapped her then tapped the orb, heard clove coming around the corner on our side so went to the left a bit and waited then onetapped her and shot the orb. Heard what i think was a jett wide swinging the little bridge to the right of our spawn on defense and ontapped her and tapped the orb. I never took a single bullet of dmg, was at 50 sheild and full health the entire time bc of that self sheild. I was shocked too bc usually i cant hit such clean headshots with vandel but knowing i had the security of that self sheild gave me more confidence and a bit more time to make sure i hit those headshots. Planning to get him today and im so excited. Also he has the best weapon skin in his gear compared to the other agents, although fades, viper, and chambers are close imo.
Hope you enjoyed the video! Here's a question for YOU now..
What do you think the duelist changes are gonna be? Do you think it will flip the current meta?..

Hey, Iso user here ( and before I'm jett W user ).
Iso is probably one of the duelist that work so good in narrow gunfight like haven, split or lotus. Not only the wall contributes so high, also a big chance you catch someone with your ult just with your game sense logic.
I also got 2 simple tips for you :
- when using his wall, you can also run with it using knife to make unusual timing moment. but to do this you need an insane match knowledge so you won't get killed so easy by rat spot and gain more advantage by unexpected move ( and also a note you can pull your guns out when you felt it's close enough to engage or your speed is overlapping the wall )
- Iso ult is literally cs aim map with you getting advantage, but how to get the advantage? Create your own 50:50 by running then shift with knife! make sure you didn't make any sound then pull your guns out and take angles simple like slicing a pie ( I also recommend take more angles too since the enemy won't take the most further left or right because that will make a loud sound ).
