I know this is an older video but it is so refreshing to see someone else who is NOT a minimalist! I am a decor addict. I love lots of layers. Although cleaning it all can get overwhelming sometimes. What a beautiful space you have created.

This is probably the best carefully curated French country home I've ever seen on UA-cam. You are so talented. The tour is delightful at every turn. My husband would never be okay with this many treasures in our home, though I am not a minimalist. My daughter is a Prof at U of Arizona who minored as undergrad in French. She also spent 6 Mos in Trolie north of Paris. She loves France. I have seen first hand what it takes to get published. Congratulations to your daughter. My first visit to your site. I'll be back.

Thank you for this beautiful video. I'm glad you are not a minimalist. I'm not a minimalist either. My BFF's husband is, though, and won't let her buy nice things to decorate their home. I like a home that is alive with imagination. I don't want a home that looks like a doctor's office. I really love the white pitchers throughout, the lovely white and red china, and the different types of chicken decorations. That big blue plate on the wall is awesome. Great job. 😊👍

I love the red curtains and plates, so pretty, all your toile is lovely I love your wonderful island, so large! the fireplace just makes your room, you can't beat free, your copper collection is to die for! I didn't notice your niche in your upper wall before, how fun to decorate. I also have red toile in my dinning room, in the drapes as well as 2 chairs at the each end of my table, but they are rose toile. love the tour, thanks!

Yes, and the mantle was free too. That was so exciting to get it even though we didn’t need one at the time. I’m so glad that we saved it, because our new home didn’t have a fireplace. But we really wanted a fireplace like in our last house.🤗

Wow, Jessica ! You’ve been busy ! You sure know how to make the most of a space ! I think I’ve told you before that I have the same Paris Flea Market sign you have - I took the glass out of another larger frame I had and then hung the flea market sign inside of it and then hung a fleur de lis above - kind of gives it more “presence” I thought - I also have the same fleur de lis wall art that you have on your fireplace - I bought two and hung them above opposite doorways - I think they’re so pretty - that is so cool that your daughter published a book ! I’m sure you are very proud of her - seems she’s inherited your love of France ! And I noticed you still have the little boy & girl reading figurines I sent you that you said reminded you of your children - seems especially apropos now that your daughter is an author ! Well, you did a fabulous job decorating, as always - I was afraid this house was not going to be large enough to showcase your beautiful things, but I see I was wrong ! LOL That was a good find of that cabinet - wish I could have seen you doing the decor but I’m sure your time is limited with all your remodeling, etc. - just happy to see posts from you ! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving ! P.S. Have you met new friends and/or neighbors who have been over ? I would love to see the looks on their faces when they first walk in ! Not everyone has your gift of decorating, which to me, is what makes a house a home !

Lovely tour ,l love the pheasants, I needed some curtains for our living room ,I wanted a semi rustic material ,l had a brainwave ,I had a roll of printed vintage burlap printed with pheasants in browns and golds with blue and rust coloured chrisanths ,We had it in our antique shop and it never sold ,I had enough for two curtain panels ,I love it ,

Hi Jessica,Well everything looks fabulous...i saw your white floor clock tucked beside the shuttered entertainment unit ..which by the way, I'm so jealous of !.....its perfect for the warmth of the living room and hiding the tv yeah!.. You've provided lots of areas for your collection's and displays ..well done! I loved all your copper of course The copper turkey in your centerpiece ..and the copper pedestal bowl on the kitchen island the wall displaying your copper molds(I have a few the same).Everywhere I looked I saw pieces you acquired Did you keep the small cabinet or was that a different one on the kitchen counter? Totally agree with the white subway tiles that's what I have and what colour will you paint the cupboards ?...maybe blue?? Never mind it'll be a secret!
