As someone else already pointed out at about 15:30 the sprint face down card doesn't count as one of the two actions. Also the second card that was played "Sword and Shield Combo" has an icon on the bottom right that indicates you have to already have 2 cards down on the stamina track before you can play it. At about 17 min, you were worried about drawing only 1 damage card while it has 1 armor, don't forget that you always do at least 1 point, regardless of the armor value. That "9" threat token is also actually a "6". The monster turns to face it's target at the start and end of EACH node that it moves. So when it charged you against the wall (~32:00) and you dodged to the left, at the end of that node of movement it would have turned to face you, then moved left following you two more nodes. It wouldn't have just kept going into the wall. The rules do say that if it should try and move off the board it will just stop but in this case it would actually try and follow you. Finally... (sorry this is the last one)... when he belly slams, you don't turn the monster on the attack, only on movement. Thanks for the playthrough, despite my comments on the rules it was a fun watch!
I've been waiting for someone to release a post Kickstarter delivery game play video, thanks guys. My copy is hopefully arriving this week. I have already played my friends copy a couple of times and I'm looking forward to us starting a campaign. One thing I did notice, is that a combo finisher card was played without there being enough attack cards being face up on the stamina tracker. The number in the bottom right of the finisher card indicates how many face up attack cards need to be on the stamina track to play them. In the case of the first round, this was two, but there was only one face down card on the stamina track. I appreciate there is a lot going on in this game, so easy to miss things. I hope this helps for future playthroughs.
Big love to you Sam! We're going to try experimenting with other game formats (I think that Mikey and Lawson are going to do some one shot style vids really soon!)
Nice video but lots of rule errors. When the monster is moving, it turns BEFORE and AFTER each space. This means it would have hurt you in the second round. Also you resolve each attack seperatly, dont add them together.
Indeed, the rule book says that if movement would take the monster off the board it doesn't move, but this was misinterpreted here. The monster should have faced its target after each movement, allowing it to continue. Moving of the board might occur when the monster faces it's target but then moves sideways or backwards.
The rule you mention usually is taken into account when the monster moves away from hunters or to the side. As Marcop has already noticed, when moving a monster re-orient itself to face its target every step of its movement, so it would have chased you down in round 2.
I've gotten the Wildspire core set and have been addicted to this game. I play solo and often. Late to the party but glad I found it before it disappeared.
Nice showcase of the game guys. Unfortunately rules got lost here and there 😅 When dodging attacks, cards you play face down do not give you 1 straight point of dodge, they give you their dodge value each, as reported on the top-right corner of the card. So if you had a card with dodge 2, you could play only that one face down on your stamina bar to dodge the attack in round 1

Looking forward to playing this! My All-in is set to arrive tomorrow!!
Looks good fun and I enjoyed the video as ever. Be nice to see those monsters painted up
Lawson and Mikey are going to be slapping some BIG COLOURS ON THESE BIG BEASTS!

Your original preview convinced me to go All-in on my pledge, and this video confirms how much value I'm gonna get from it. Cheers to you all! ^^
Thank you Vilkalcis! We enjoyed our time with this game so much and you just WAIT until what comes out on FRIDAY!

Cards putted down for sprint doesn't count towards 2 attack cards that can be played in 15:35
Patiently waiting on my All-in pledge to arrive so this video is perfectly timed!
IT'S SO FUN! I hope you have a great time with the game!
just got mine today
When the monster moves towards a corner it then turns to follow the hunter and moves again. You got him stuck to a corner and did a misplay
Saw the previews for this a while ago, does look quite decent
Are you not using time cards?
Nice showcase of the game guys.
