I post stuff to Instagram that often times doesn't appear in a youtube video: @gravityknight
I have seen comments on other channels were people say Idaho flying videos get old. But as for me, a tailwheel airplane landing at Johnson Creek NEVER gets old. I could watch it a thousand times!😀
Great to see you out and about again Todd.
That climb out was super impressive, and spectacular to watch. I can just imagine all the folks back on the strip watching as you climb, and the deliberation as to whether or not you were going to make it over or bank away. Awesome show 👍
Never stop making videos bro, you take me everywhere u go. Until I can get my own plane I will tag along with you
High Quality, Intelligent and Adventurous content , LOVE IT !!!
Another killer video....very very nice.

Iam 81 and half and learned to fly tje backcountry in Ldaho i had a 185 ans a 180 .super cub 206 was blessed by GOD to be able to do all of that onlr a few close calls its the best flying in the world stay safe
Enjoyed.
Looks like an M1 Garand rifle on your wall, I have one of those (30-06) as well. Shot 3 Moose and countless Elk with it over the years, a few feet as well. I got mine in 1986.
Your content and videos are absolutely beautiful! New to the STOL scene but I’m looking forward to many adventures like yours !!!
Beautiful video of flying in my backyard. Home Airfield S73
Keep the videos coming. Its a constant inspiration to me and so many others trying to get their own backcountry airplane project started. U guys out west are so lucky to have all that public land to play on. That is a strange concept to people like me in Tennessee. Anyway, just so ya know, the scenery in your videos will never get old. Amazing!
Another great video- please keep it up and looking forward to the MT footage!
Love the adventure videos. Cheers from Winnipeg.
Wow amazing view you are a great UA-camr love the videos keep up the good content.
NICE FLING SIR RMANDI
Frikn' awesome Todd. Love Ryan Airfield with the famous P-38 and RAF backstory.
Clearing the ridge was the cherry on top of this epic video. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite flying channel, it's such a treat to see/experience these views that so many have dreamed of in the centuries past...Twenty minute video goes by so fast...
Been watching your channel since 1k subs, love to see you're up to 12k now but lets be honest, that should have another 0 on it. Great shots as always, hope to see you around flying one of these days.
thank you very much!!!
I feel like this channel should be bigger than it is. Beautiful shots.
Thanks!!!
Hey, it was great to meet you and catch up at the Black Hills Fly-in.
Nice meeting you!!!!
Well done Todd- thanks for the awesome video! It was an incredibly fun trip, and can't wait to do it again.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing brother. Can't wait for more.
What a great adventure! So great to finally meet you and I can’t wait to rejoin on Angry Bird with the Bogey! Check six…
Great video Todd. I've been anxiously awaiting it . Can't wait to see the acts. Thank you.
wheres Part 2?? Oh yah your in love!! lol Dude, is your plane ( Rans 7) spoken for? when you get ready to sell?
Great video as always. Looking forward to the next one
Nice ! my planes aren’t ready for that but it sure is some nice vids thanks for sharing 👍
Another great video! Great to see Glen and some other S-21 owners! You engine sounds awesome!
By the way, that turning tool in the Ranger Station is a small, manual lathe, I believe. Has a rest for the chisel/tool.
'' I'll sell her too you cheap'' LOL
Hooray, good to see you again bro! Always good to see Idaho, but Montana also has a ton to offer, have fun at Black Hills!
Dude you nailed it again. Great presentation!
Thanks bro, see you this weekend 👍🏼
Hey Todd! SO good to watch you fly again my brother. After spending the last year and a half on a project in one of those countries where UA-cam and people like you are subversives trying to convince others they can have their own personal freedom, it was awesome to watch somebody expressing his own personal freedom!
I’ve got a bunch of video I’m behind on, but I am so looking forward to catching up with the guy that SHOULD be the biggest aviation channel on UA-cam…
Wow!!! Welcome back! And thank you!
Thanks making and sharing another great video! With the approach and TO at Wilson being blind along the river and around the ridge (the heli snuck up on you), how do you ensure there's no conflict between arriving and departing AC? Also, what was your airspeed margin as you climbed straight over the ridge after TO? That seemed a bit scary to me. Stay safe and thanks again!!
Radio is the best tool, but definitely not a guarantee there with the canyon and terrain (and assuming people are talking and on the right freq etc.) I think I crossed the ridge at 53-55mph indicated. So i had a little margin but not a ton being squared up to it, last few seconds are pretty critical it doesn’t quit! Thanks!!
G,day from Sydney Australia.
Fantastic video production, thank you. Just thinking... That departure off the grass runway: were you at maximum rate of climb?
* air temperature
* density altitude
Always interested in seeing more of your filming.
🌏🇭🇲
G'day John. I'm also from (just north of) Sydney. Do you fly yourself? I fly out of YWVA.
Forgot to ask, whats the status of the "badlands traveler"?
Ill be up there this weekend and will film a little blurb on current status. Still a ways to go but a lot of progress has been made
Are the leaves changing in Colorado now?
I heard someone say a little, but I haven’t seen it yet. I think we have a few more weeks to go

Maybe I can get out for a day. My Piper Arrow limits me airports but your flight over Telluride made me want to fly it myself.
where episode 2?
ClearedDirect owes me $5
😬😲
how do you determine what ctaf to use when in the back country?
It’s almost exclusively 122.9 in the backcountry. One of those unwritten, but kind of official, but not official things 😆
@@GravityKnightFlying good and interesting to know. Thx
