What Loki says at the end is something that happens to him in the comics in a different way. He's no longer the "God of mischief". This is without a doubt the best MCU content they have ever done. Everything from the acting, sets, story, design are all just so damn good.
This show is so good on so many levels and at any time on any timeline! For those of you taking a sip for every "That's awesome" you hear...I hope you came prepared! Can't wait for the finale! Thanks for watching!
About the numbers, I expect them to be down partly because the viewing landscape has changed and some people are waiting for it all to drop before watching. Also depending on which article this was, someone commented that they were comparing stats for S1E1 which is longer, over a period of a week, with S2E1 which is shorter, over a period of a few days. Based on that alone, the numbers will be down. But yeah, also people have checked out of MCU content or just aren't into time travel stories. I'm glad you're all enjoying it, I am too.
So, I wonder if there is even a way to "fix" everything and keep all the various branches as is without killing anything or anyone or just ultimately realizing He Who Remains was actually correct. I wonder if the magic dampeners are still offline and not working since the system had to be rebooted. If so, I am curious if Loki could use any of the Infinity Stones that were being used as paper weights at the TVA to "fix" all their current TVA problems, LOL! What if this season or the series ends with Loki transported back in New York 2012 at the point where he steals the Tesseract, but this time he chooses to not pick it up.
The Infinity Stones was explained by Casey in ep 1 of the first season, don't work outside their own universe. Which is why they are more or less glorified paperweights. Not because of the magic dampeners.
Loved this episode and your reactions. Loki levels up through the power of friendship! Seeing everyone's background and Loki realizing that what he wants, why he wants things back to the way they were is primarily because he wants his friends. A nice callback to the past when he's always told he is and deserves to be alone.
I don't understand the viewership drop. Just because Ms Marvel or Eternals wasn't my cup of tea, doesn''t mean I'd like Loki Season 2 any less. Just like Loki Season 2 being good wont "save the MCU". With different writers, directors, actors, score composers...the quality will vary. Some good, some mediocre, some not good. What are these people thinking: "Omg, I hated She She-Hulk!!! So I'll probably hate Loki Season 2 also!!!!" lol, give me a break.
Loki may have overtaken WandaVision as my favorite MCU tv show. So creative and different, it's a shame viewership is down because they are missing premium storytelling!
Time travel is not about where or when or why, it's about who. Doctor Who.

Lol it's good but it's definitely not the best of the mcu. Some of the best of phases 4 and 5 though.
I would say it's the best D+ MCU and definitely one of the best of phases 4 & 5

Can loki go to stop sylvie from killing he who remains
Wouldn't it have been better to save the timelines before the other TVA Judge pruned them?
