      Good tune, although I think I Will Always Think About You is their best hit.

    Another forgotten near hit from the early ‘70s that escaped my consciousness! Crazy how New Colony Six started as a garage rockers in the mid-60s, then became baroque soft rock in the late ‘60s and finally went in the brassy, easygoing pop direction by the early ‘70s!

      I bought the single when it was on the WLS chart. It was released on one of Bob Stroud's "Rock and Roll Roots" CDs.

    Have this on a (questionable) comp CD, Good tune...doesn't sound like Ronnie Rice on lead!

      It’s drummer/co-writer Billy Herman on lead vocals here… he was in the band for about 2 and a half years at this point, and did some lead vocals on their fourth LP, “Attacking a Straw Man”… and before that with the Exceptions.
