We all have a tendency to underestimate kids. They're more attentive than we give them credit for, then step up and handle things as well as many adults. This young lady is a good example of someone who knew to stay composed and relay information accurately. She may well grow up to be a first responder, or a teacher., a doctor or who knows what. But if she maintains that can do attitude I see a bright future for her.
It doesn't have anything to do with the story, however kids love to dress up, let her enjoy her accomplishments. She will be an adult soon enough. Peace.
Yes, I have to agree. Why make the fact that she is a pageant queen her identity? I'm surprised they didn't get her to pose with an apple pie. Kudos to her for her brave actions and quick response of course.
Did they say what the bus driver's medical issue was? And isn't it unsafe to get behind the wheel if that's a condition you have, especially with the lives of s many kids in your hands?
Piggybacking off this video to give some advice that is especially relevant in the age of cell phones: Make sure children know and can communicate where they are in the event of an emergency. Have them memorize their home addres. If they are at someone else's home and a competent adult or older child is not nearby, look for a piece of mail addressed to someone with that person's last name, as it will probably show their home address.
That’s impressive for a 9-year-old! Handled it very maturely. She couldn’t have done a better job!

Alessandro De Sangro sono d’accordo
WOW, What a compassionate, smart young lady.
She was so brave and did such a great job. So proud of her
She's such a lifesaver! Very clever, she knew JUST what to do!
I love stories like that ❤️🕊
I've always wished to be like the little lifesavers.. they've got me inspired here.
She is a true hero wow 😃
That’s awesome! But idk how her being a pageant Queen has to do with it.

Because she's proud of it, you Burke... and that healthy self-esteem saved a life.
@@doggonepointgooddogbacking3248 It's just part of her identity.
She's proud, her family is proud, her school is proud, and we are all happy everyone is ALIVE!

She’s a hero
shes so brave well done on your bravery and whoever disliked it needs to get a life
Plot twist - she actually wears that crown and sash everywhere she goes.
Then she is my hero.
Children are obviously smarter than adults who work in the medical field.
Wow santa must be proud of her
Congulations Addison
Amazing
Good job,addison.

Medicine 80, Intelligence 100
Good girl
The pageant queen parts seem entirely unrelated lmao but great job to the kid
Very brave little girl, but how did the bus driver not keep going? I just thought maybe they would have because they were not unconscious.
diabetic shock, heart attack, stroke, pancreatic attack, aneurysm - could be a number of things that could debilitate her.
I think they said she was at the stop. Maybe she put the bus in park when she started feeling ill.

Or they could go outside and read the street names at the nearest stop sign.

And this is great
But also everything else wrong with the world

Good job. But Addison, tell your mom it makes you look a little odd to dress up like a pageant queen for an interview. Sorry kiddo, just reality.
I was only 3 when this happened.
4 I mean . I'm 10 now .
