  • Flax seed, also known as linseed, has been cultivated for thousands of years throughout the Middle East and Mediterranean regions. It is a food and fiber crop, textiles made from flax are known in the Western countries as linen. The plant is also grown for its oil which has used for a variety of purposes including paint and varnish. It is one of the main food sources in cultures such as the Navajo Indians and the Himalayan Hunzas.
Just one tablespoon provides a good amount of protein, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, in addition to being a rich source of some vitamins and minerals.

Amygdalin is also associated or named B17 which is high in Apricot Kernels. Supposedly it may contain cyanide in an inert or inactive form. Supposedly it's only released and becomes active at the point of contact with cancer cells. I have heard about Apricot kernels for those who eat them, or are considering eating them but have a concern about the cyanide may want to consider what I heard on a UA-cam video; only eat the amount of apricot kernels that would be contained within the fruit you would eat at one time.

I heard that flaxseed ground up is not good for men with low testosterone because it could make it worse as it increases estrogen. And over a tablespoon a day may increase risk for prostate cancer or even breast cancer in men. Expand on this please with a video. Thanks.
