I’ve never heard of you before, but how is it a “Win for both sides” if your competitor gets 70% of the sales of their IP on your console? PlayStation fans buying MS IP on their PS 5 are literally spending money to finance Game Pass for Xbox users.
I played FO3 and NV on my PS3 upon release. They were buggy yeah, but from my experience and observations, claims those copies were worse than the 360 and PC editions are still over exaggerated. Maybe I just got really lucky though. Skyrim on the other hand did nearly destroy the PS3 hard drive, so I had to factory reset. Now I just play Fallout on my PC for mods like a real chad.
Xbox is slowly turning into a publisher at this point. Wouldn't be surprised if the next "Xbox" was just a glorified streaming device requiring constant internet connection.
Why would they fire Phil? Xbox was in third place, sold half as many consoles, and yet they generated 14% return compared to sonys 6%. They wont get rid of him, most likely promote

Phil Spencer has reached a point where he’s struggling to grow game pass to the level he promised and he’s struggling to convince people that the Xbox brand can make games. But I did also say he has a chance to stop that from happening and believe he can

Just think what sony shareholders will be saying - "we sold 3 times as many consoles, why arent we making 3 times as much money". The 30% stuff was true aswell, its essentially a platform tax, like sony charging 30% to host other developers games, the problem for sony is that they dont have a giant microtransaction game they can put everywhere to make their own 70% on other platforms, and by allowing microsoft to put games in there store, they are adding competition and distractions that take away sales from there own software. That's why they are putting their games on the ps5 and Nintendo.... Sony did more profit because it's metrics were all much higher then Microsoft. All. From hardware, to software, to accessories, even in subcribers.... Now Microsoft spent 80 billions and got two of the biggest publishers in the world. And one of the biggest seller... Microsoft now got more studios then Sony and Nintendo together... You don't need to be rocket scientist to understand why their revenue is higher...
I thought this Dirt person was a playstation executive or something from the thumbnail but apparently some youtuber (aka nobody)? I don't see a reason to get a ps5 or an xbox whatever the next one is called for any of these games with the exception of ff7 remake part 2 (still not worth the ps5 pricetag for one game). Where's my Darkstalkers 4? Legend of Legaia 3? Mega Man 12? It's probably still 10 years off before ES6 or Fallout5 anyway, so by then I'd need a ps6 if it gets a ps release at all. Good news about the xbox games being on ps store, so maybe by then it will still be possible to get a physical fallout 5 goty edition. Let’s be real games pass is what hurts Xbox because their games are designed to be free for that and it leads to incomplete products (halo infinite) or smaller games whereas PlayStation can put budget into their games as they know it will be a premium product also they don’t seem to whore out their IP by making unnecessary sequels just because the older games are popular (halo, gears) . Tbh I can see them at some point going the way of sega and becoming a publisher because they own a lot of studios and IP and most of them are IP that PlayStation fans love but a crap new Bethesda is not going to sell an Xbox unfortunately

You can get most Xbox games on PC now anyway. And Playstation is slowly doing the same. I switched to PC a few years back, and it's really easy to emulate PS2 games now a days. I got a Series S just to play coop games with my girl. Besides trying to preserve a few games, I hardly touch the system. Xbox is slowly turning into a publisher at this point.
