- I tried this once before with AJAX dish soap and it didn't work at all. Dawn was much better on this second try. This dish soap painting effect creates a really cool result!

Ive seen that technique used on tumbler cups before never thought about trying it on a mask but now im definitely doing it.....you should do the spray paint hydrodip method on a mask and post it
I guess the tumblers worked better because they are circular and rotate while being applied. The soap definitely slid off course on this mask, but it still worked out. I tried hydro dip a couple times in the past and couldn't make it work right. It was trickier than it looked in tutorials. That would be a LOT of fun to use on masks though.

@@BigHush there is a hydro dipping technique with images that might work for a jason mask, but maybe rotating the mask when you apply the black coat might fix the issue. The mask you made still looks great though

@@BigHush I tried green on one of my sample masks yesterday, it worked, but not so great because all I had on hand was Palmolive. Didn’t seem to work as good as the Dawn in your video. Thanks.

Do you let the 4 different colors dry before using the dish liquid and how long did you wait before you applied the black paint?

if there's a way to thicken up the soap it might leave cleaner lines.
Hey there's this one mask I see a lot at Spirit Halloween it's called the "Ice Rink Raider" mask think you could do a vid where you Jason it up? no additional holes or anything, just paint and weathering. This one to me has more of a menacing look than the stock hock.
