- Hello my beautiful marshies 🌸 Today we head off to NYC in this weeks Airport Travel Vlog! I show you what it's like to fly with Virgin atlantic airways from manchester airport to JFK Airport in New York. I show you the tasty plane food & our first sights and sounds of the big apple!
We also head to the 'Famous' Joes pizza to try one of their popular pizza pies!

As someone who live in the U.S. I have only just realized that people from other countries like seeing our school buses! This is so cute to me!
I think its because they are so iconic and only seen in america haha, so its super cool to see them, cause we see them on films all the time, but not in real life hehe
Dean is like the perfect blog partner. He never tries to talk or interrupt or anything, I always find other people in vlogs awkward.

Something about seeing NYC through a foreigner's eyes is really whimsical and fun; most Americans and New Yorkers especially are so indifferent to everything about it because they've seen it all a thousand times, they see it all every day, but I really appreciate your unique perspective! heheh it's strange isn't it, we even loved like the street signs, the water hydrants and the traffic lights 🤣 which are totally normal things but look so different compared to ours lol 🤣

I was born in Brooklyn.and raised on Long Island :) I am always amazed when people come to NYC and are delighted. You guys make me want to visit with different eyes. ❤ We always grumble whenever we have to be in the city because it’s so stinky and loud and crazy….And takes forever just to get a few blocks at times. But I suppose when you live some place the shine wears off.
Being that you do enjoy city sites, you might consider coming to Philadelphia too.
I moved from NYC to Philly in 2004. Center City and the historic old city are the best parts. Also they have these tours called “Ride the Ducks” that takes people both through the streets AND into the waterways with these big amphibious vehicles that travel on regular roads and act as a boat in water. Totally cool.
I have been binge watching your UA-cam the last couple of days because I got the gastric bypass surgery just a couple of days ago and I found you through a search. I was searching UA-cam to get some more personal experiences from people who have had the surgery. I know your channel isn’t really just this weight loss journey type of channel, but I stuck around to watch all the other videos because you have such positive, joyful way of looking at everything that is infectious. I’ve been recovering the last few days and you have been keeping me company … so thank you for the happy healing vibes haha 🎉

Welcome to NYC! I used to work at Hudson Yards and I sort of miss the hustle and bustle, but it can be overwhelming to live there. It's all about the local delis and pizza/bagel joints! Something about the water makes all the dough taste so good.
oh wow! In the next vlogwe go to hudson yards hehe and we see the vessel and go on the edge! So so cool, also I wish I tried a bagel DAMMIT lol 🤣
@@catherinekayy Oh yay! I worked there for a year and I miss the building. At least you had Joes! I never even got to try Joes lol but I had lots of pizza. I've tried "the best" bagel spot in Los Angeles and it still isn't as good as the NYC ones. I'm not sure what it is. Crack? LOL
Omg Catherine, you wouldn’t believe just how much I can relate! Went to NYC for the first time last Spring - early April. And despite the weather forecast I decided that I’m not accepting 7 degrees on my trip and only packed a light cardigan and a veeeeery thin jacket. Little did I know…
Being in the heart of Manhattan makes you believe that buying a particular piece of clothing will be done in no time with zero effort.
After visiting all the shops on 5th Avenue you can possibly imagine I just gave up. They only had the shelves packed full of their upcoming Spring/Summer collection 😂 same in T.J. Max… shorts, tank tops, dresses… you name it.
Eventually I got lucky and found one very last piece - a jacket buried deep in Macy’a sale section that I wasn’t even looking for anymore.
😅 So yeah, anyone travelling to NYC beware. Spring is chilly there. Be safe.

You actually vlogged my dad's offices on the bus from the airport parking which I assume was APH. We always park there; always such a good price and never had any issues. It's not a house near the runway at Manchester, it's the Airport pub. Great food and amazing beer garden at the back.

That a long journey for 3 days
So happy you experienced my hometown, I live in LA now, but I so miss it. Being in Manhattan is like having the world in the palm of your hand. Next time you need a coat in New York City, the first place you should go is Macy’s. Macy’s has a large inventory of a variety of coats and they come from all the design businesses in the area as well. Next time you go to New York City, I really recommend that you visit Hoboken in New Jersey, and go to the viewing park there that is positioned across the river from Manhattan, and look at the New York skyline from that perspective. It is one of the most awesome views in the world. Also, Hoboken has fabulous restaurants and a really cool urban lifestyle scene. By the way, you look really chic in that leathery looking coat.

ill never forget the 1st day! from farm land, no po, we ran around the woods. like on the first 1hr walking out the door honked at, then yelled at by a sidewalk person, went to buy a soda and they wanted a dollar n im like i only have 300 friggin dollars. super hard to make friends here took a year at least to not be shunned bc i am new on the island. so many pros, dude mad easy to make money here, have fun too.

Yes he does! Dean usually drives at home everywhere, but I like to drive long distance or in cities ✨ I also like driving my van 🤣
Real ones know la croix actually tastes horrible haha I just get sparkling water from target and call it a day. Also I think the company is from Wisconsin so I always laugh when people debate whether or not they should pronounce it the french way.
