I had server depression when i travelled to finland from australia. I went at winter time. it was -40 Celsius i went for a sauna and jumped ina frozen lake. i was reborn a new happy person. You could feel all the bad blood and depression was gone. I enver felt the cold again that winter

Welcome to Finland. During this video I decided to heat up my sauna :)
A real sauna is heated by firewood and an electric one is a sauna simulator. That's a common joke with my friends and it has at least half of truth.

Great video, but heating up the sauna to a hundred degrees Celsius isn't the way to do it. It's much better with 60 degrees in a wet sauna. Then you can sit a long time and get warm to the core. At a hundred degrees you can still be cold inside when you can't take the heat any longer, like baking bread in too hot an oven. The body learns to handle the heat with practice and you can stay in the sauna much longer. I enjoy it very much and it lowers my blood pressure. Thanks for your beautiful videos. They make the world happier.
That’s a Swedish sauna (bastu), which we Finns don’t appreciate. I would go nuts if I had to sit in a sauna that luke-warm. 😅

Love Finnish people. But they're even more antisocial than us Norwegians. So they need their sauna to social for sure. Love from one antisocial brother to another😂
