Safety First: Use a qualified rigger to rig your aerial silks. Be fully warmed up before you attempt any exercises on the aerial silks. Place a crash mat underneath you and have a spotter to assist you.
I get my equipment from www.firetoys.c...
Make sure you SUBSCRIBE for lots more videos, thanks for watching!
Wow! You Are STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it love it!!! More like this please!!!!!! Need a lot of conditioning
I just started doing silks and discovered your channel. Thank you sooo much for all your videos. I only have an hour class once a week but there is open play for about one to two hours at least four days out of the week! I try to use every opportunity to be in the air even though I still can’t lift myself up. I’ll definitely be trying these exercises hopefully soon!! Please don’t stop making videos you’re amazing and inspirational 💕
Also, before I forget I love that monsters song and besides your videos I can’t find it anywhere! So I’ll definitely be watching those videos in particular on repeat.
Thank you, I'm so pleased you're finding the videos useful :) and I hope you're loving silks! Keep practising and it sounds like you'll be lifting yourself up really quickly! :)
I got it from Epidemic Sound!
I found it omg I love you even more now!!! Thank you 💕
love it
Thank you for sharing. I'm adding this to morning routine warm-ups!
Thanks 100 times
Can u do a video on what u should wear while doing silks
Mia's Life definitely! I'll do a blog post on it in the next few weeks :)
Leggings definitely
The best things to wear (in my opinion) is a leotard under leggings and an optional shirt over it too, you want to make sure you are covered so you don’t get burns as easily
It's been too hot to go to the park. I need to get stronger first anyway, I get embarrassed when people show up. Thanks, I can do these at home with my trapeze ♥
All your videos are awesome.
Thank you so much!
I love your tutorials!!
Thank you so much!!
Im a beginer..I really enjoy your videos.. congratulations from Buenos Aires Argentina
Mariana Cabral thank you!
yes! thank you!
Thank you for sharing your gift! Can you please add a link for the knot you are using?
I'm not sure what the knot is called but if you search on google or youtube "tying a knot in aerial silks" then loads come up :)
Dying because I had my first class today and I'm not even strong enough to climb.
Climbing is so hard! Try to not be too hard on yourself, I have students that have been doing silks for months and struggle with climbing, there're so many amazing moves you can do instead though. I hope you love it!
Unique Aerialists it is tons of fun! I just wish I had a way of practicing at home. I feel like I'm not going to improve only doing 45 minutes of class a week. :/
Try doing lots of core and upper body exercises at home, being strong will really help :)
Cayla Along with what unique aerialists said, invest in a pair for yourself! I got mine from amazon
ofc you wont be able to do everything on your first class!😂😂😂
hi! what's your name?(:
i just want to thank you , i've startet practising this wonderful activity on March and i couldn't live without it now! i love your videos, you inspire me and give me thousands of new ideas for my trainings. thank you so much! have a wonderful day
Hi thank you so much! It's so addictive isn't it! My name is Robyn :)
@@UniqueAerialists o wow, your name suits u really well 😅
Hi, how can i practice gripping the silk without slipping? My hand slips and yes im on the heavy side 67kg for 5’1
Hi, it takes a while to build up grip strength, do lots of footlock moves that will gradually increase your hand strength without putting too much pressure on your hands. You can also buy balls to squeeze which will build up your grip while you're not in the studio. Stick with it, it will get easier! Hope that helps :)
Thanks that helped me so much
Merci
Hi! Thanks so much for your videos, they are so helpful. I am really struggling with pull-overs. I have been doing silks for a few months now and am working on my conditioning but am really struggling to get over, even when hooking the silk with my foot. Any suggestions?
Love this video as I am currently looking into different forms that I would like to teach as a budding Fitness Instructor, but practice is key.
Also curious as to the name of the song that is playing in this video?
Song is called Monsters by Peter Liljeqvist & Martin Veida
Love you!
What is the name of the song you used for this video? I love it!
what kind of fabric do they use for this? I know they're called Silks, but are there different fabrics that are used?
Hi the silks I buy are 100% polyester :)
I don't understand how you do the straddle up. How do u do it?
Hi Julia, I have a video called "Aerial Silks Tips To Get Your Straddle" which tells you how to do a straddle and has lots of conditioning exercises and regressions to help. A straddle requires a good amount of upper body and core strength and also muscle awareness so can take a while to build up to :) keep building your strength and practising the steps before a straddle and you'll get there!
i’m really struggling with the iron cross (the one where you hold your arms out hanging -i think it was the last one you did). is there any conditioning i can do to get there. i’m struggling because of my wrists.
Love the vid but what's the name of the song??
Monsters by Peter Liljeqvist & Martin Veida
Hey do you have any tips for a thirteen year old girl who wants to learn this?
im 12 and i do it! i go to a class
I tried ur video on it but it didn't work out for me
Is this at your home ? How much height does it need ? Thank you :)
I wish this was my home! It's a small unit that I rent :) the ceilings in there are 14ft

Hello i no speek englesh plis subtítulos en espanol
Does anybody know the name to the song??? 😭😭😭 I can't find it
@lennyst.clair Hey! I Just saw this but if you are still interested, I found the song. It's called Monsters by Peter Liljeqvist & Martin Veida
Monsters by Peter Liljeqvist & Martin Veida
Omg I’m dying this is so exhausting, I’m ten and I’ve been doing aerials since 2years ago
What music is this?
Monsters by Peter Liljeqvist & Martin Veida
The knot HURTS. Also you make it look effortless. It's not. I climb my silks from the floor to strengthen my core, and its a fight every time
