That was a pretty cool tour. Amazing what lies beneath the ground that most people don't even know about. So cool! Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.
Thank you Steve, sending my best buddy and catch up soon 😊
You had me at secret tunnels! 👀 (sorry to just be watching) Wow it is amazing that some tunnels haven't had passengers go through since 1924..wow..incredible. And most of the tunnels still look pretty good! I really did love that abandoned refugee camp video you have ..always enjoy your videos! Our love to you and Yhana
Thank you so much guys, that abandoned refugee camp is a very interesting video and it was a very interesting visit too. In another 20 years or so, most of it will probably vanish. Catch up soon 😊
WoW Secret Tunnels has very bright lights ON
Lol, I’m certainly pleased they did 😊😂
You made me think of a UK thriller I use to watch as a kid. The one with the subway and they found the alien bugs. Do you know what movie I am talking about. QUATERMASS AND THE PIT (1967). Only our really big cities here do we have subways. Like San Francisco, NY, and DC.
I have seen that movie, many, many years ago 😊 I love those old horror movies, you can’t beat them. Some of the films today, I just can’t watch lol 😂 they are too brutal lol. a big thank you for the comment. These tunnels were very interesting although for me, it got me thinking about the movie Creep. That had some pretty grotesque moments lol. Your Choice of movie was much better lol 😆❤️
Absolutely amazing and beautiful sharing
A very big thank you 😊
This is so amazing. I never knew about the Secret tunnels. I love exploring places like this. Thanks for taking us around for a look and also all the interesting information. Have a great weekend my friend.
Hi Gasper, thank you for the very kind comment, I love exploring places like this too 😊 sending my best and catch up soon

This is amazing!!! And I was there three weeks ago... I had no idea about this! It was fascinating to see and hear about all of these old underground tunnels beneath that large contemporary shopping area! There is so much under London that no one knows about! Fantastic video, my friend! 🤗🤗
Thank you for the lovely comment 😊 the tunnels are certainly a very interesting location to explore 😊 I can’t imagine what it must have been like down there during WW2. Fascinating history that’s for sure 😊 catch up soon
You find some of the most amazing places to explore and show us. It is amazing how much there is in the world that we never find out about. Thanks for showing another place that is totally new to me.
Thank you Ivor, for the wonderful comment 😊 I will catch up soon buddy 😊 sending our best
.Wow, I had previously heard of these tunnels but had not had the opportunity to see them and learn more about why they had been built. Thank you my good friend and blessings to you and Yhana.
Thank you so much buddy, hope your own adventures are going well 😊 I will catch up with your channel later today, I can imagine you have been discovering lots of incredible artefacts 😊
Totally new sub!👍 Glad to meet you. Definitely my kind of content. I have spent a pretty decent amount of business time in London taking the tube but had not run across of this station. Great info and fascinating story. Thanks🤠
It's amazing isn't it Stephen. Manchester has many of these tunnels as well. Great content buddy 😀👍
Hi Mick, I never realised that Manchester has a lot of hidden tunnels too, very interesting 😊 I might look into them, sending my best and catch up soon

Such important history with the air raids and ventilation, nicely done Stephen. 📺💯🛡️
Thank you buddy, it was actually an event that the London museum of transport organised for 20 days, to raise money for the museum. I opened to the public for the first time in 100 years. It was fascinating 😀 catch up soon

This is very interesting video. Tunnels behind tunnels. The labyrinths hundred years of history. 👍👍
Thank you guys, these tunnels were very interesting and very dirty too, a hundred years of grime everywhere lol 😆
Just amazing to see ! Who would ever know such a tunnel exists unless someone shows it as you did. Pretty fascinating for sure. Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you Cheryl, it was an interesting exploration, the tunnels explored in this video are just a few of many more, scattered right across the city. There are a lot of hidden secrets buried beneath London 😊 catch up soon

There is so much down there, a few urban explorers have ventured down some of these tunnels but not all ! They provided refuge in war lets hope we never need to shelter down these places again! Nice video thanks Stephen.😊
Thank you David, and I totally agree. The world is very unpredictable at the moment 😊 sending our best to you
OHH WOW, just amazing. You got the even access to that, usually people show videos of London where tourists walk around but you always make the best unique content. Thank you for showing that side of London as well. Great video !!!!
Hey buddy, thank you so much for your wonderful support and wonderful comment too 😊😊 it is very much appreciated 😊 sending our best to you and catch up soon
How absolutely fascinating Stephen. Wow, what a great topic for a video. Something we don't think about really- how the system worked way back then. Thank you Robbie, hope all well too 😊 those tunnels do generally look in good shape, but they are very dirty. 100 years of grime everywhere lol 😆 one of these tunnels was the original access into the tube station in 1900. They closed it off in 1924. It was fascinating to see 😊😊 catch up soon buddy
@@StephenandYhana Awesome!!
Hi Stephen. What an amazing experience that must have been! Fantastic to see behind the scenes. Love those sections lined in cast iron plates! All the best and take care 👍😊
Thank you Des, for your kind support buddy and for the comment too 😊 hope all well and catch up soon 😊
Now, this is propped up our street!!! Love the underground!! How did you get access to there? Very cool indeed! We remember stories from Rach’s mum of the underground being used as air raid shelters, mad times. There’s something about that brickwork that we find so fascinating, we’ve done a couple of guided tours of the underground. Not sure if we’ve seen your concentration camp video, will go back and check. Top work, loved that!!!
Hi Wills and Rachel, these particular tunnels were only open to the public for 20 days, first time in 100 years. But there are many tunnels you visit. They are organised by the Transport Museum of London and Hidden London. I would love to explore a few more. Maybe a bit further down the line, I might just do that. You guys would love the exploration 😊😊
Really enjoyed watching your lovely video. A big thumbs up from Chris and Jane 👍✨️🎉💕
Thank you Chris and Jane, hope all well guys and catch up soon 😊
Neat access you were able to get for those tunnels. We liked this and all the behind the scenes of a station. It is amazing what has been dug out and the engineering that is required
Thank you Jim and Pearl, it was wonderful to be able to create this video and share with everyone. It’s not an area that’s been seen by many people. It was a fascinating visit. Hope your both well and catch up soon 😊
That was an amazing experience, great video too 👍
It was an incredible experience 😊😊 a big thank you too
Hello my friend. Keep up these awesome videos
Thank you buddy 😊😊
Awesome area Stephen! I heard about some of the tunnels being used as shelters during WWII but didn't know there were that many. Very cool.
Thank you kindly, it’s a very interesting exploration and very cool tunnels too 😊
Amazing and interesting stuff Stephen . Lots of cabling in those old tunnels. I was on the Victoria line yesterday from Victoria to Euston to pick up the sleeper train back to Scotland: I think their cooling system needs an upgrade- I was melting!😅
Lol, I think the cooling system needs a good upgrade too lol 😆 catch up soon buddy and hope all well 😊
amazing video work ! big like
Thank you kindly 😊
Fun exploration of the tunnel system, Stephen. I think many cities along with buildings have these systems beneath the but most people either don't know or at least haven't been down in them. In the US too, many were supposed to have been used as air raid shelters, should it ever have become needed. Some of them even had 5 gallon barrels/cans of water stored in them. Enjoyed your tour. How we're you able too?
Oh wow, those tunnels in the US sound very interesting 😊 I wonder if any videos on UA-cam have been made about some of them? I might have a little look. I gained access into the tunnels via an event organised by the transport museum of London. They opened them for just 20 days. First time ever in 100 years. The money raised from the event went towards the upkeep of the museum. I was in a very small group of about 10 people. I wasn’t allowed to film anyone in the group and I had to keep each clip filmed at a minimum of Just 30 seconds lol 😆 they did bag searches and identity checks too lol 😆 it was fun though. Sending my best guys and catch up with you both soon
Very good it looked really nice and interesting xx xx
Thank you, it was a very interesting exploration 😊 xxxx
I’ve read about tunnels alone abandoned before! Really cool that you can tour some of them! This was really cool!
Thank you Lee, sending my best to you all and hope your having fun in Spain 🇪🇸
@@StephenandYhana awesome thanks Stephen we are back now! Hence watching your upload lol 😂 my internet has been poor around the hotel back to work tomorrow booooo

I certainly wouldn’t want to be down there on my own lol 😊 thank you guys, catch up soon
Hi Stephen. It amazes me what lies beneath the ground. I’m wondering if there’s other places like this unknown to people that were used in the war also. Very cool to see! 👍😊🇨🇦
Thank you Christine, hope all well and catch up soon 😊
Stephen hi , it was so interesting to take a look and hear of all of these old secret tunnels beneath that big modern shopping centre and how they were used as air raid shelters during the war . This was so interesting 👍 ~ Anna

I can imagine it could be really creepy down in those tunnels, wondering if a giant rat or zombie might pop out...🧐⚠️😬😁
Lol, there probably are rats down there somewhere 😊 I think the tube network has loads of them. The Zombies must have been in a different part of the tunnels luckily 😁 lol
Wow, nice, you get to visit the tunnels under London 8:13
Thank you buddy, sending my best and catch up soon 😊
Will watch with my lunch debs xxx
Thank you Debs, sending our best and catch up soon xx ❤️
Hey Stephen this is really interesting. I wonder if there are ghost. 😊
I can imagine there is a ghost or two, The London Underground has many ghost stories. A lot of tragedy attached to them too 😊 a big thank you Lisa and catch up soon
Hi, Stephen and Yhanna.
Wow, the sign on the right looks like "Ghostbusters" 0:25
The mirror in the mirror is crafty.
Fascinating.. these gigantic tunnels have never been used.
Power is on and what are those countless cables hanging in the middle of the tunnel? 7:07
So there is no plan to repurpose this tunnel at all? I bet much taxpayers' money was spent on this project.
Any incident during the construction?
BTW, I don't know the exact location, but I heard there is a tunnel between an old historic church and a tavern. Have you heard of it? Well done, Stephen. BTW, Debs most excellent adventures shouted out You and Tea and K7S as "Viking Raiders" about 6:14 in. I thought you wanted to check it out.🥰
Oh wow, I will check that shoutout 😊 Debs did mention it to me yesterday, just not had a chance to catch up on videos yet, my plan for later today 😊😊
I think those cables were put down in the 1970’s, it was the last time those tunnels were used. These tunnels were sealed off because they moved the entrance into the underground. They were originally accessed by three lifts hanging side by side in one huge lift shaft. Which is featured in the video. These lifts were wooden and dangerous due to fire.
I will see if I can find any information on the tunnel you mentioned. Sounds very interesting 😊 catch up soon buddy

Thank you kindly 😊😊
Interesting video. You must have pulled some strings to get access to these places.
It was an incredible visit to be honest, very dark in places. There is a huge open
Space in one area where three lifts used to hang down. This was the original entrance way, but it closed in 1924. I think the history of the underground is very interesting, lots more tunnels and even stations that have been abandoned 😊 I would love to visit more if I can get access 😊
It would be interesting to see more. There are negative field areas in the tunnels that make you feel like you are being watched
@@michaelwhite8031 I think some of these tunnels have a ghost story or two attached to them. Although not sure if I fancy the feeling of being watched lol 😆 but I will definitely explore more soon 😊
Great adventure..I love visiting places off the beaten track...very cool that you could explore...Amazingly huge, great civil engineering and great history hidden there...Very cool video..wish I was there 😜😜😜😜👍👍👍👍👍👍
