THANKYOU
Thanks it was interesting bob.
Thanks again! Super-videos. Looking forward to meeting you!
Wow that makes life easy thank you
Nice video 👍👍👍
Dear Bob thank u for sharing it is nice to see area that everyone talks about! Take care!
Thank you for making these videos about Quartzsite. My parents spent many many winters there, and it is cool to see what it looks like. Although they haven't traveled for 10 years. Well, my mom passed on, and my dad ended up with dementia. I swear FT RVing kept them younger than just sitting around the house.
If you slow down old age catches up with ya. Lol
@@kimberlyevans7853 So true!
I’m a 100% disable veteran, due to have cervical & lumbar surgery soon, but hoping to be able to go to the Q soon,
Nice Thank You . . . YOU ~ SOOO ~ ROCK ! ! 👍🇺🇸🤛
Good tour of Quartzite. Next, how about a tour of the land outside of town with all the services available and where to avoid problems with thieves, etc, etc.
Thank you Bob!
nice
Thanks so much. Just starting out and making my plans. Quartzsite, Yuma and Lake Havasu are on my list
And there is quartz everywhere you look. Rockhound heaven.
Cool
Are you "allowed" to dig everywhere or are you not supposed to? Just wondering...
Thanks for the tour of Quartzsite; answered questions re: location's resources/conveniences. Helpful!
Ann.
Quartzite AZ is fun🚐🇺🇸🙏🏼👁️🏡
Thanks greatly appreciated
Thank you for making this video! I love your head wrap, so cool!🙏🏿
Someday I will be there and say Hi. Great video 👍👍👍
good video
Even though I live in AZ have never been in Quartzsite, but have heard about it. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for your videos 👍 I had a friend introduced me to quartzite, I saw some new places to go see from your video. I like the driving video idea 💡 happy trails to y'all
Thank you for what you do love your videos I learned a lot from them we full time rv we do have a home base in Lafayette La plus I also built a camper out of a cargo trailer 7x 14 for us just to go camping and travel we never been to quartzsite but we really want to go there soon hope to see you we would love to meet you

Thanks for the info looks cool I want to visit in 2024
Followed you on Google Streets, maybe one day I'll follow you in a RV! So happy with your subscribers and way of life.
"A lot of traffic," he says. 😉 Looks like a beautiful place.
#Grateful Love ❤️ you guys thank you so much ❤️
My grandparents spent winters there for as long as I can remember. They recently passed. I appreciated getting a glimpse
of their days there.
👍👍 next time im here it will be smooth sailing
Bob I can't thank you enough for doing this video. I've wanted to attend RTR but this year it is absolutely necessary as the cute apt I've been living in is being sold and and I absolutely refuse to pay the exorbitant rent prices for a new place. Not to mention the increasing utility prices. This video has helped me so much to see Quartsite and I'm excited to meet new friends. I"ll be 74yrs old in a few weeks, I have a good, small car 2022 CRV so I'll just pack what is necessary to live and see you there. 😀
Thanks again Bob we have a standard poodle and I loved that there is pet grooming in Quartzsite! Another very helpful video! I would love to meet you 😊
I had the idea that this was some sort of no man’s land. It’s a regular little town. That’s nice to know. Thanks! We aren’t in a position to travel but we enjoy doing it vicariously. It’s fun seeing how this community of people has helped so many. Especially seniors on very tight budgets. You just never know when you might need to live in your car. We flooded during Hurricane Harvey and I learned quickly how you can become homeless. It was surreal.
Thanks, Bob. Hitting the RTR in 2 weeks
Thanks for not glamorizing Quartzite. Great tour. It's a good place to visit if your a rock hound.
Looking at going to the rock and gem show in January. Thanks for review of the area!
This was so great as you have no idea what this place is like that I will have invested so much to come there. Driving alone w my dog from Ohio for the RTR & never going back to 10 ft of snow. No nice van for me my tiny Toyota Yaris. Leaving Dec 31 unless I can get everything done sooner. Very hard to leave EVERYTHING like nice clothes & family photos but won’t have room. But things are much less important than the simple life I want. My dog is going to love it out there & that’s what makes me the happiest.
I met you a couple years ago at Scaddin Wash... it was my maiden voyage and I was in an Altima. I wanted to see if that's what I wanted. Well I came back and started saving for a bigger rig. This January I will have bought "something" bigger and am headed back out to Quartzsite. I loved it in my maiden voyage, it was no struggle for me but I was prepared before I started thanks to you Bob.
See ya down the road
Safe travels 🌻💪🙏🤠
At laundromat....old restaurant had to close but they are doing a breakfast type take out....not sure of the menu...friend said homemade biscuits and gravy was yummy.
Bob Wells is all about being a guide to “easiness” on the road… not stress or otherwise… but taking life easy, enjoying the day, finding a smile and giving one. Bob (I do believe) knows inclusion, compassion, and sharing. ty sir
Lol…. Bob says as you can see it’s really really busy here. I was imagining Disney type “busy”, no where near 🤣
I was stationed in Blythe for many years as a Federal Officer and often patrolled the desert areas around Quartzite. I love the California deserts and this has always been one of my favorite towns. I plan to drive back out for RTR and get reacquainted with this great spot. Looks like there hasn’t been much change…nice to see that. Take care and safe travels.
***You take care also,thanks***
Thanks for the tour! That was very helpful and anxiety reducing!
Thanks for the information. Will make the visit much easier!
Going CA to PHX a lot, I make Quartzite a regular stop, but I NEVER knew of most of these great spots until this video. I"m coming out for RTR 2023, and having this mental map of the go-to places removes a lot of apprehension. And it saves a whole lot of time searching to get something done!! Well done!
Don't blink if you drive through town you might miss it
Fascinating to see Quartzsite from here in Australia. Thanks for the tour! 😀
youve got bionic eyesite!😃
Fiona, I love Australia but your government is putting freedom under the boot. Good luck to all you wonderful Aussies.
As I posted on your last video I was in Quartzsite about two weeks ago for four nights. Visited most of the places that you did in the video. One comment I have been in pilots all over the United States and the one in Quartzsite is the absolute worst in terms of parking in traffic. It’s really dangerous there’s no separate entrance for 18 wheelers and a park right beside the main building so beware when you go to the pilot in Quartzsite.
Where did you stay?
That pilot is small but it is a truck stop so it was built for truck drivers to sleep and take showers. They work 14 hour days and drive 11 hours. Quartzite has plenty of parking for people in rvs and campers.
I didn’t bother going to Pilot, went straight into the desert wilderness! Thank goodness!
How is your health? Well I hope... When are the vendors usually there? Do you know when the rock (gem & mineral) show is usually there? Will there still be places to stay if I can't get there until Jan. or Feb.? Not sure if I will make it this year or not, probably next year...
This is very interesting and entertaining. So much good people gathering there every year! I have never crossed an ocean, maybe one day I'll come to the USA to meet your friends. And other friendly nomads. For now I'm a little occupied still in western Europe, close to Amsterdam! 💚😎 Love all that you're doing, and I've learned a lot thanks to you and Su-Ann.
Oh that's where I want to retire, and will soon. Thank you, Bob, another great video. Getting me an SUV and a 25 ft camp trailer fully self contained, heading to Quartszite AZ to campout for 7 months, then don't know what to do after winter is over. But ill figure it out.
This is SO cool, Bob! Thank you so much for doing this. I've always tried to picture what it would look like. You've made it more real. Takes away some of the apprehension I feel when planning to come out there from Louisiana, in January.
I agree.
Hello there.. I just want to tell you.. I went to the Q last year in Nov and joined a Caravan and it was so nice to find a place that I could just fit in and be left alone and also have community when I wanted to..
I grew up in SF and still live here for now as I complete my rig. I am excited to go back this winter… Just remember to either stock up on groceries and you’ll be good!
How did you know where to find the BLM camping area? Didn’t see that shown in the video? Guess one follows signs or looks for all the RV’s
Hey Kel, we're heading out for our first trip to the Q this year too. Leaving out of Amarillo TX probably right after Christmas.
Tis the Season
Bob I love these videos the most….. it’s very helpful to see what life will be like and info on the town shopping and living etc……. Please make more of these videos for those of us who are trying to hit the road
All the times I've heard you and others talk about "Quartzsite", I had no idea the event was actually IN the town of Quartzsite! In fact...I wasn't sure Quartzsite WAS a town!! This answers a lot of my questions.
Great information ! Thanks Bob & Team !
Bob, thank you so much for going to so much trouble to give us a wonderful tour of Quartzite. It looks like an amazing place that many of us would adore to live in or near.
Thank you Bob, I didn't realize the transfer station has recycling. See you at the RTR in January! I'm starting to get really excited now, to hit the road. Will be leaving Bath, NY by December first, which will give me some time to wander, and explore. Take care.
Be careful on your travels. I'm in Irwin PA and about to hit the road too.
Going to miss ice fishing on the finger lakes.
I’m in Cleveland, OH. I’d like to leave earlier than Dec 31 for the RTR if I have my little car ready and am saying goodbye to my apt. (More like Good Riddance). I hope I could find someone to travel buddy with but who knows if I can.
I am actually thinking of doing the mobile thing in quartzite
Great video Bob! That was a really good tour too. I loved that you stopped and talked about places. It’ll be a huge help for anyone visiting the town. ✌️🙂
Thank you very much. For someone with anxiety this is absolutely wonderful. Bless you Bob. 🌼
I have awful anxiety. Maybe we anxiety people could camp together. Lol
I just got here today. Beautiful
🤙
We've decided to make at least one trip to Quartzite.
You are the most delightful person. I so enjoy watching you. Thank you for all you do!
This desert is wonderful. Greetings from Argentina.

I wish we had more places in Australia like wat u guys have for RV's n so on not to mention someone like u to tell us all about everything Bob..
Great video. Can't wait till January. I noticed in the video you said it was late February. Is this a republished video from another year?
Very well made, informative, and helpful video Bob, thank you so very much!🌷
Excellent, Bob. Thanks!
May not be the prettiest but it's nice to have winter options available. Great info as always. I'm more of a visual learner and this helped a lot.
You can do showers at the loves in the pilot, and they don’t knock at your door
Have you ever done a video on Slab City, CA?
Big help for when I visit Q. Hopefully, soon. Thx, Bob!
Bob, you still have some PTSD from your bear (pepper) spray videos 😅
Aloha Always, you Mr.Bob makes me want to go RIGHT NOW. PLEASE KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING. YOU ARE MY FAVORITE MOTIVATION! CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU TO SAY THANKS VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH. SEE YOU ASAP!
Super helpful Bob, hope to see you this winter.
Thanks Bob for your videos it has helped so many of us 🙂
These videos help take the fear out of rv living.
Or car living! I will have a super tiny Toyota and a tent. God help me. I dread the drive - just scared, but once Im there (from Ohio) I’ll be fine. Take care. Nice & easy. Don’t rush.
I'll be arriving in Quartzite tomorrow around noon and I have no idea what to do! I drove from PA in my Skoolie. I'd like to join a caravan but I could use a break after driving for 9 days.
Need more info about finding good water and dump stations, especially free places. Thx
I’m hoping to make it there again in January/February. Thanks for the tour!
Mr. Wells the new layout on UA-cam is hiding everyone's channel name below their videos. Thanks for the tour by the way.
We are heading to Quartzite in January through March looking forward to it .
Thanks Bob! This makes the area a lot more clear regarding directions and places to go
Reality rarely lives up to expectations! However, very grateful for the tour, and thank you Bob!
Quartzite is great for the winter. Where to travel in the summer. Any similar places.
Thank you, Bob, so much for the tour. This year may be a reality for me to go to my first RTR. I've been watching your videos for years and finally moved cross country almost a year ago, so it's a possibility. I would love to meet you and make new friends, hopefully see a few more nomads I've been subbing to. Take care.
Could you talk more on towing car behind please.
I remember making trips there with my dad every year. Good memories.
