Once again I must make some comments.... You have no idea what this does for me, but I think you have a clue with our last interaction.....When you are stopped at a light? I don't fast forward, I just sit there and wait with you.... and LQQK around..... After the one commercial break I had to figure out where I was and realized I was on L st. I took the 42B Yolo bus back home to Woodland after class at Sac City College.... and spent some time on the corner of 7th&L..... Seeing the GoldenOne center sitting there for the first time Freaked me out!!! Last time I was there it was The Mall......
I never “fast forward” when I’m at a red light,either!
I get homesick for Sac.

I am from Mexico, I lived there for a month, specifically in west Sacramento, in resume I fell in love with this city, with the people, with the university, trees, stores, you know, that was my firsts american experience, so Sacramento has a very very special place in mi heart, i have to say, american life is nice.

Yes I went to Sacramento back in 2001 and had a blast there. Stayed there for three weeks as I was travelling / back packing down the west coast from Vancouver, Canada down to San Diego . Such a Cool City really liked it. Love from Leeds, England 🏴❤️👍 ps would have been great to have bumped into Tony the Tiger Lopez. I was a big boxing fan and Tony was Great little Boxer 🥊✅

Looks like around April or May. Sacramento is one of the loveliest cities on the West Coast. The different trees that canopy the old neighborhoods the palms that line the Capitol grounds make Sacramento a naturally beautiful city. It's got it's own charm. It's more of an undercurrent city kinda like the quiet beautiful girl that doesn't jump out and dazzle you but the more you notice her the more beauty you see.
Sacramento is everything Fresno could have been. A central valley city done right.

I travelled over there in 2004 for the Golden State Street Rod Nationals. It was a splendid gathering and I regret not seeing more of Sacramento. I remember all the trees, I heard there were something like three million around the city. I also remember the heat. The climate and scenery of California reminds me a lot of Australia, the people were friendly.

That's sort of what it feels like too. I spent over 20 years of my life there. The people are sort of dumpy and have really low standards in a lot of areas, compared to other major cities in California. Despite it being the capital.

Cool Fact. Sacramento is one of the only cities in the Valley that receives a Delta Breeze in the summer (cool ocean breeze and marine layer) when the other cities north and south continue to bake. For a 2.5 Million metro area, Sacramento has done well.

Helen Jackman I live really near to the river, and just over the mountains, lays other cities and the Pacific ocean, at night, when there’s wind, you can actually smell the delta breeze from my backyard, especially on my front yard, idk how the ocean really smells like, because I’m too scared to go near it because of this dumb phobia I have, but when I went to SF, it just smelled like fish lmao
@@helenjackman8984 Stay in Bakersfield, Fresno or Redding for the summer and then you will understand the difference. Check the temps anytime during the summer and Sacramento is cooler almost 100% of the time. The records don't lie.

I must take my city for granted , this video made me realize how beautiful Sac is in some certain sections and after going to LA a few times I really just noticed how much palm trees we have

I can personally guarantee you that Sacramento isn't all that "clean". I don't live there, but I live relatively close by. Before this pandemic, my family and I would regularly go visit. Just like most places, there are some very nice parts of the city, but once you deviate from the "touristy" section, it can get ugly very quickly.. We had some friends visit an aunt and uncle from Mexico a year ago and they were astonished at just how dirty the city was and the rampant homeless situation.

This just goes to prove after looking at downtown on street view is that American towns and cities have one feature lacking in so many streets, towns, cities and estates in England....tree lined pavements, England is just brick , concrete, bland and going backwards and less and less green belt thanks to the bland, and more brick and more concrete housing estates being belt every day and to think that i didn't have the bottle to accept a job in Santa Ana thirty years ago. :(

Sacramento, such an underwhelming city for a metropolitan area of 2.3 million. I lived in the Sacramento suburbs for a year and a half until last year. Every time I went to Downtown Sacramento I was disappointed by how sleepy and slow-paced it was. Typical government town, everything depends on the government and moves at the lightning fast speed of government.
I now live in Oklahoma city, with only 1.3 million people in the metro area, and honestly even small OKC has a more impressive downtown than Sacramento.
OKC has only 1.3 million people in there metro. Thats the entire city of Dallas without the suburbs lol
Sacramento ain’t even one of the top 5 biggest cities in California though. Lol. So it’s impressive. In some states, Sacramento would be their biggest city. There’s more population in Sacramento city limits than Atlanta, GA.
OKC should, it's your biggest city so everything should be there. Just as Los Angeles has much of anything. When you look at Sac for its cost of living, easy drive to the ocean, snow parks, beautiful trees and parks everywhere. It's really a hidden gem with a metropolitan size double of yours, it's kept pretty well. Think about the bigger picture. It's a good city almost same population of Atlanta, more than Miami but with that small charm many cities fail to achieve.
