Look up mount Everest corpses. It's sort of interesting and sad. There was a book I read in highschool about a guy who climbed Everest and most of his crew died. But there wad one chapter where he found two people who were frozen over, but still alive. He couldn't save them because they didn't have enough resources

Wow I thought the same thing and it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. If it brings anyone peace of mind in cases like this I’m guessing a lot of people weren’t conscious at all and probably would’ve had amputations and deformities for life. Surviving being frozen solid seems like a VERY rare occurrence

The reason they were able to shock him back is because of the cold temperatures. cold temps slows the process of ''dying''. if your heart stops but you're in cold temps your intestines can survive for way longer than normal.

My brother was out one night with his friends and they all fell asleep in his car. It was snowing that night and he had gotten out of the car to go to the bathroom and slipped and fell down a hill. He broke his hip and his back. He was left there for about 3 hours until his friends called me. When I got to him, he was unresponsive and me and my Mom thought the worst. We thought he wasn’t going to make it. He was put into a medically induced coma after having severe brain damage also. After about 3 weeks, I was waiting with him while my mom went out for some time alone. I was holding his hand and I suddenly felt his hand move in mine. I called the doctor in and he said to call my mom. I was so happy that my twin brother was awake that I couldn’t talk properly. 30 minutes later, my mom showed up in the door and sped towards my brother. The doctors said he had to stay in hospital for a few more days to make sure everything is stable, then keep coming in for physical therapy. 7 weeks later, he is getting his speech back and he is walking again. This was random, but when I saw this it made me think of my twin brother. I hope ya’ll are having a good day 🖤🖤
