Very well informed customer and his observations and recommendations are so apt. Good review from Aman bhai as usual, though this car was reviewed before in this channel but the perspective of this review is different and exactly this uniqueness is what I like a lot about your reviews Aman bhai. Great job keep it up. Well done 👏👍👌
Knowledgeable and frank owner review 👍🏼 Listening to the video it seems like the original Nexon EV is also not a bad choice. It can do 240kms on level highways. There are very few to no real fast chargers of more than 20kw readily available. If the max owner with the increased range doesn't feel comfortable going on long drives, why pay 3 lakhs more for increased range? I mean, going on long drives is the sole reason for purchasing max, right?
He has given right reviews , max doesn’t go beyond 270-80 with full ac and without ac hardly you can reach 310 kms and range anxiety will be there and every trip requires lot of planning you can’t rely on third party chargers mostly they are not functioning , not right time to own a ev . I own Nexon EV Max
Excellent explanation by calculation from Mr Anand Aggarwal advocate. Running of owner is 60 - 100 kilometres daily drive which justify the EV Max car with bigger battery preference but where is infrastructure upgrade with existing load for different type of charger guns needed. It is rare to find out with apps also. Center Government should consider the guidelines of battery according to size of car for even load distribution for less panic of range anxiety on intercity travel plus local work travel.
Plug Share is the master application for all your EV trip planning, all the chargers operators are listed with navigation, route planning, and charger condition. I am amazed such a knowledgeable owner doesn't know about this app.
Need Suggestion. My wife is a school teacher who travels 160 kms every day (total) to her school. She is currently availing bus service which is not point-to-point (She has to take auto after a point and has to book Rapido on her way back from bus stand). Bus is mostly free (Govt buses are free for women in Punjab). Now, even though travel cost is not much, it is still a hassle for a lady to travel in buses daily on long routes. And it is worst during summers which are almost 8-9 months in a year. Currently, we have Tata Altroz Turbo Petrol which we obviously cannot use for daily commutes due to the cost. And wife doesn't drive so hiring a driver will be another cost (That cost can be taken care if she offers carpooling to other teachers traveling on similar routes). Now, currently, we have multiple EMIs including house and car. But in a year or so, it will be reduced as I will be paying off some amount. I am thinking of getting another car for her commute and electric will be good for that amount of travel every day. I had Tata Tiago Electric in mind. But since it will be almost 160 km every day, not sure if this car can do it. Even if it can, it will still give range anxiety because you may encounter some scenarios where you have to take alternate routes due to traffic or any other reason (Accident on highway), or there could be road repairs. Tiago claims 315 and in real world it should give 190-200 range. Now, it sounds good but still not good enough to give you peace of mind. There are other options in market with higher range, but those are very expensive (18 L plus). I can think of selling Altroz and keep just one car and can buy higher-range options. But then for long route travels, we won't have any petrol/Diesel car. So confused right now. I really want my wife to travel stress-free and with comfort. I am thinking to gift it to her on our 10th wedding anniversary in 2025.
EV comes with 8 year or 1,60,000 kms whichever is earlier warranty. And as per empirical data from the world over suggests that batteries last 12 or more years . Maximum degradation of battery will be to 80% of original 100% state . The battery is made of individual cells and only few cells go bad which can be easily replaced to make the battery new.
5/10 my rating 1. outstation travel difficulties 2. Switching problem 3. Base height problem 4. Battery change (? Price after 8 year) 5. Uphill (300 👎 100km) full charging 6. No centralised app for ev(using 5 apps) 7.charging suitability
Thanks for the honest video guys I am deferring my EV purchase by some years now, too much hassle currently, 5 app , public charger not working properly, people in Mumbai do not have so much time.
Nice review and superb car,, I have Max and it’s 5500 km in just 2 months, driving experience is superb but main problem is with Tata chargers, they are not reliable and can cause critical error
He is a smart customer who is well aware about the product. He explained the positives and its shortcomings nicely. Very important to get well informed customers for reviews. Well done
Very informative video Aman ji, main bhi aise hi video k wait kr raha tha bcoz Im planning to buy new car . And i was considering ev but as for my usage i hv too shift towards diesel engine bcoz my monthly run is more than 3000 kms and my main run is 750kms single shot between kanpur and Dehradun per month and back , plus city drive
Overall this is best buy and very reasonable price.... If I had 20L , (I wish I had) no more worries, straight away I would have purchased this ❣️❣️.... Very much waiting for Altroz EV ❣️

Wow! Didn't know you can switch to 3.3 kw from 7.2kw. Also. How does the 7.2kw ac charge look on the app? Does it show it as a slow charge or a fast charge? I'm asking because they say you need to slow charge every 3-4 cycles later for balancing.
After 5 years battery life will be 25% less, In indian summers this is FACT. Baaki sab 5-6 yrs baad hi pata lageyga. So as a city only car or asay upto 50km drive i think its a good deal, Provided you have other petrol diesel car at home
Question of Battery replacement cost is just useless. As Gentleman mentioned jabtak battery change karne ki baat aayegi tab tak gaadi he change ho jayegi. BTW I am proud owner of Nexon EV Prime bought last month on Diwali, already driven 2000 km in a less than month. What a pleasant drive it offers. Totally in love with it.
I do not see any issues in points discussed...this customer is more cautious kind of ...power connection can be taken or increased meter can be changed...city main roj traffic same nahin hota...so range bhi same nahin hogi..and person to person bhi farak padega....
Hi team ! I have a question, if somehow India switched to all ev mode, the income government generated from fuel will vanish and has to recover it by increasing electricity tarrif rates ?? Any observation on it.
well we have oil refiniries .. what india does it it imports crude oil and 25% of it is exported to other countries as refined products while 75% is for indian market. The reason government wants to switch to EVs is it will save import bill and exports will be increased and india plans to open more refinieries and exports finised goods to african countries and developing countries.. even pakistan, bangladesh or srilanka don't have refiniries so they need someone to purify for them and still the business will go on and our exports will increase.
@@BeingRV in fact I think the government will increase taxes on petrol diesel after EV becomes more popular. So people will have to switch to EV Those who don't, will pay taxes to government in higher costs for petrol. That's how government will get it's taxes.

Bhai, the interview with the owner of this car was very informative. He spoke very frankly about the pros and cons of the vehicle and of the dealership of TATA. The info on the home charger regarding the variation in the wattage was excellent and knowledgeable for the new buyers. Tata should first try to improve the quality of the vehicles and also should have strict control over their dealers. Also, the government should reduce the charges of the electricity provided to the charging stations so that the cost of recharging the battery could be reduced thereby encouraging the prospective buyers of vehicles to go green.
Actually nexon ev company should remove the gear knob and replace the auto gear shaft liver. So that the driver must not confuse . Gear knob is out dated .
Personally what I think is that we should wait atleast 2-3 years, ev cars shouldn't be your first priority if it is going to be your primary or your only car in the house
simple, if u have good daily running in city, have at least 1 car (petrol and diesel like in joint family) and have space for charging then go for electric, otherwise no use, as it would not be economically wise to have 2 cars 1 for outstation and other for daily use
Summery: Buy ev cars if you are driving inside a big cities only, if you have your own house and charging point, if you are not in a society building, if you are not going outside your city, or if you have another car of petrol for use. So overally ev cars are good but out infrastructure are not upto mark for its use now. 🙏
